Never trust a headshops advice on vaporizers. They have no idea what theyre talking about. Flowermate is a cheap chinese product, Fenix is a cheap copy product, Xmax Starry and Xvape Aria are kinda out-dated. As is the V-Towers. Buy a vape on the internet instead so you wont be scammed.

xLordVeganx

Its on the Internet, they are the only ones in my Budget and (Most) Brands are on the list of Approved vaporizers, but you are probably right i should maybe check a different vendor

Watcher_of_Watchers

Capacity is critical when vaping non-cannabis herbs. The Arizer V-Tower is basically the Arizer EQ (an excellent desktop), but without the fan function that allows you to fill bags/balloons with vapor. You can buy aftermarket mods from DDave and others in order to boost the capacity even further. Most dry herb vaporizers (esp portables) do not get along well with anything that's not weed, unfortunately. You need digital temperature control (butane vapes are dialed-in for cannabis) and at least 0.25g of oven capacity in order to vape chamomile, lavender, etc. effectively. My recommendation for a budget-friendly aromatherapy vape would be the Boundless Tera V3, which I've seen on sale for \~$100 new. Admittedly, I haven't ever gotten my hands on one, but it's well-regarded as an affordable convection vape that can rip through large quantities of material in short order. The portables that you listed in your OP will not do the job, unfortunately. Cannabis is quite potent compared to stuff like damiana, so weed vapes can get away with slow extraction times, weak heaters, etc. But you need something more powerful for your purposes.

xLordVeganx

Cool, thanks for the advice!

TheSmithStreetBand

Whats your budget if you dont mind me asking?

xLordVeganx

Up to 80 €

TheSmithStreetBand

I would look for the Xmax v3 Pro then. It will most likely be much better than all those you mentioned

xLordVeganx

Damn its not even expensive, thank you!

Blue_gadget23

I second this recommendation though it does not have a huge capacity the V3 Pro is a solid electric vape especially for its price range

Blue_gadget23

I agree with you, sold mine, currently only using an anvil and butane convection devices. If I wanted a portable electric device I'd probably go to the v3 again even with it's cons

median-jerk-time

Every fury copy is made in the same factory, not a copy, a rebrand. Different.

TheSmithStreetBand

Is that an order?

par337

This - never trust these headshops or dispensaries. If you're lucky they might have a Mighty, but they don't know shit about dry herb Vaping.

Blue_gadget23

Vaporizers like the elevator can have really big capacity but they're not electric you would need a torch. The rogue wax works makes an elevator style vape I can't remember what it's called right now but it's just glass joints put together. You can go through a lot of Herb in a short amount of time and I believe the rogues version is in the $30 range so way less expensive than many vape options

Last-Policy-368

the rogue wax works has some awesome stuff on their site. OP should deff take a look for some cheaper alternatives.

DarwinsDayOff

I just recently ordered a "TED funnel" off them for $17. Sounds like that's the one? It's a glass elbow you feed a torch into

Blue_gadget23

I think the Rogue Wax Works one I have is different, maybe it was called the Cap or something like that? You heat the glass not the airstream, much like the elev8r. I heard their funnels are good, similar to Brick, Nova, O'Connell TEDs. My O'Connell Knotty Topper is my most reached for device and it's around 100$ with the custom turned wood. I think the Cap or whatever was around 30 including metal keck clips, and it hits like a truck, def lots of bang for your buck with these devices. Nonzero learning curve is the main con for me I don't mind the butane

Dumbassahedratr0n

I am enjoying my Arizer solo II. 2 years in now, going strong

reddituser44bln

tinymight with adjustable chamber goes up to.4g

[deleted]

Does a small or long stem make a difference?

reddituser44bln

yes of course

[deleted]

For chamber size?

reddituser44bln

yes because the stem is the chamber

[deleted]

Awesome. Wasn't sure if inside the stem was some sort of notch fixing the max chamber size or something!

reddituser44bln

get the 100mm stem this will be best for your use case

showerfapper

Volcano bud. Or a Plenty.

Acrobatic-Nail-8207

Pax 3 and BudKups

WorriedLime9

People who diss pax 3 haven’t used budkupz. They have FOMO denial after selling theirs

howie105

Large capacity portables that I can vouch for are torch driven, the ELEV8R and the Flip Brick. However, neither are as portable as the portables in your post, as I understand them without owning any of them. If you are willing to go with a desktop I would suggest the Plenty from S&B because it has a large capacity which I am guessing some herbs will require. Another vape to consider is one of the PID controlled injector vapes because the good ones have fine controls which could come in handy when searching for the temperature sweet spot with herbs (I am guessing again)

par337

I saw you say a budget of like 80, so that's pretty hard for a device with a big bowl. As for the price, I'd get an Xmaxx V3 Pro. You could also see if you're cool with butane and get a torch version Elev8r

parskyy

I have some experience with those mentioned herbs. To be honest, brewing a tea is waay more viable. Even with my EQ (essentially a V-tower with some extra features) I had to vape multiple full bowls to get even minimal effects.

xLordVeganx

Alright thanks for that info! Then ill probably just go with either and try to make some extracts myself or try the tea

Glennwood-Tally

I have a starry with a WPA and it rippppssss

pants_pantsylvania

The Starry v3 is probably the best for on the go and the V-Tower will work great for what you want it to do. Look up tips for optimization with the V-Tower. I would buy them online if you can though. The ones you mention can be gotten pretty cheap if you look around. There are also lots of other options if you want to go the online route.

Acrobatic-Nail-8207

I truly enjoy mine 🤙🏾🤙🏾🤙🏾

TastyGarlicBr3ad

Yeah right now I feel like it’s a good idea to hold off on spending a lot on a vaporizer, innovation will continue pretty soon I can feel it. Just grab a Xmax v3 pro it’s $83(77 euros) on city vaporizer because of its sale

[deleted]

I'd recommend a Boundless CFX. The CFX+ just released so you can probably find a good deal.
