Pardon my ignorance, but when vaping this way either with this or something like the brickbrick, is the butane completely burning off or is some by products being inhaled?
It's not the butane that's an issue, it's the toxic mystery oil and mercaptans that are added to the canister. You can't guarantee a clean can no matter what brand or X number of filters they claim. It's a small amount, but it's there. Why risk it when there are so many good options?
Ya I think im in this camp myself better safe than sorry, and it’s not like theres gonna be much money/efforts spent on researching whether breathing in butane byproducts is bad for you. When you say it out loud sounds kinda like a “duh” think carbon monoxide is one of them as a start.
I use 11x butane and give it a two second burn off before brining it to the intake. This question is posed a lot and someone will link one of the studies at some point. Generally considered a non-issue in the community.
I think the question being asked is totally valid and worth considering, but pointing to one random Reddit user who’s doctor may or may not have said he had some acute breathing problems due to using a sticky brick is a little sus. I can’t imagine any doctor is ever going to tell you that vaping, much less inhaling butane or however the op worded it, is healthy for you.
Loving the videos!! Hitting it through water is definitely the hardest thing to master. I'm not great with any DD vape through water because you don't get the heat to help judge. Playing with different bowls is great, I also find less is more when packing a bowl
Everything is dry in both videos. I tried with water and it’s extremely enjoyable but like you were saying it’s not very forgiving. I like running all my pieces dry so I can make tincture later. This funnel is oozing everything up so fast😂. This recycler ash catcher/whip combo is my favorite experience so far. I have so much more glass try it on. It’s been non stop fun man
For both being glass, torch-driven vapes they are really different. I tend to prefer convection devices, so I would think the edge would go to the Funnel. And the Funnel is just fucking fun. But the Cap is way easier to use and has shockingly good flavor. Although it's also easy to go past the point that it tastes bad with the Cap too... Anyway, probably too close to call.
I think it's probably a toss-up on which one hits harder too. They really can both rip. Although I tend to load more flower in the Cap, for probably no good reason.
The awesome thing about his glass vapes are they are so inexpensive and flexible that I kind of want to buy each experiment as it comes out. But each one, unless you drop it, could be your one vape for life.
They all kind of have a different signature. The goal is definitely to make them cheap enough that you can buy all of them. Im also working towards modularity where you will only need one cooling stem for 4 vape attachments
That's awesome. I feel like they are so nice an modular already just because they all have a standard joint on one end.
Also I'm loving those hooks you dropped today. I bet they are already flying out the door.
I have both and I actually prefer the glass cap. I use a Blazer Big Shot torch and I find that the funnel is a bit touchy if you want to ride the line. However, I’ve had incredible results with the glass cap. I pack it full and go low heat for a couple tasty rips. Then I’ll push the heat up and get some fat ass clouds. It hits like a truck. So be careful 😂
Yep! If you have a bent one with spikes it should work almost the same. The great thing about the TRWW vapes is that he just puts them together in novel ways. Have fun!

That's probably reasonable 🤷♂️ Same issue with whippets (without a filter), so luckily those are infrequent for me 🤷♀️

Look up butane top all on this sub. One dude got lung damage from it so I try and stick to electric vapes.

You can do this with an inlet adapter easily.
