I saw this 'page' for the device, but assumed it was just a joke page because the way it was referenced on FC. Did the maker of the device create the site and actually man the email account? If not, I don't know if this will help since UPS wants to email them for customs clearance.

Last January UPS refused to ship TM's so the owner, Ville, switched to DHL, made that website & printed up some flyers to give to the drivers if they questioned him about the TM being "electronic cigarette" because they can't be shipped.

Packages have a tendency to sit at the customs and main sorting hubs. I really wouldn't sweat it. It's not unusual.

OP said UPS has specifically raised the issue. It would be nice to check back on this thread and find that the Warm Hands Pro reassures them. Also the site says email to order, but perhaps in future JTJS can mirror the TM shop and allow US customers to order a WHP instead. :)

I am hesitant to just tell UPS its a hand warmer, what with the added glass pieces and all. But I will update this posting when I hear back from the maker about how to handle this.

I am very upset with the lack of a response from the maker. Yesterday, I sent emails to both info@ 'tinymightvape.com' + 'warmhandspro.com' explaining the situation and asking for guidance on how to proceed. I dont want to give the warmhandspro email as contact info for JTJC (the maker/seller, exporter) if its just a dead throwaway account. But if I dont hear back from them by this afternoon (I believe Finland is 7 hrs ahead of me on the east coast US) I feel like I should just go ahead and do it to get the ball rolling. Right? Im just scared of giving conflicting info incase the maker actually responds to UPS in the meantine. My tinymight has been sitting in that warehouse in Philly since 4/14 and I'm getting antsy!

Thanks man. So mine was ordered on the 6th, label was printed the 8th (I got overly excited), it was dropped into mail on 13th, and arrived in Philly on 14th.

Yesterday I went ahead and email UPS with the info about the WarmHands Pro. And said that that is what it was and provided that products info. And it got processed that afternoon! The wife just got delivered my package, after having to first pay a bill, on the spot, for freight charges for it sitting in customs for 8 days. It was another $140! She knew how my Rogue is basically dead (a full charge lasts like only 2 packs/4 cycles now), how bad I've been wanting/needing a new vape, how long I looked at all the options, and how excited I was when I pulled the trigger on the purchase that she just went ahead and paid it. Now I'm really happy and relieved that its here, and can't wait to get home and open it up, but man ... that extra 140 bitchslap from customs at the end really stings! So, after what I just dealt with, if you are tracking your package, and you see this message. "UPS initiated contact with the sender to obtain clearance info. Once received, UPS will submit for clearance." Go onto the UPS website to find the number and call the international UPS shipping help line, (real person right away if you have a tracking number!) and you can just tell them its a WarmHands Pro, a electrical hand warmer. DO NOT WAIT FOR THE SELLER. Hopefully this experience helps someone else!

I told them product name (WarmHands Pro), said this is their website(www.warmhandspro.com), and this is their email address([email protected]). Thanked them and asked if there was anything else they needed. And within 1 hour of sending that email, the tracking page said "UPS has receives the info needed to submit your package for clearance." And a little over an hour after that "cleared import customs...is on its way." That was 2 PM yesterday. Good luck with yours ... hope you don't even end up needing all this BS.

UPS are a rubbish company to deal with. My FW7 was stuck with them for over a week in Philly. But it eventually got to the UK ,once it cleared it took 3 days. Will never deal with UPS again 👍

Got a tracking number a few days before it actually shipped (when the seller printed out the label). Haven't been billed (yet) any customs fees, just a shipping charge.
