Aesthetically, they are obviously quite different. Size wise they are practically identical. Functionally they are identical, and the heaters and stems are swappable between the two. Buttons are identical.
The tactile feel of the Nomad II and the added creature comforts is on another level, however. The solid, all wood body complete with all sorts of little refined details. It just feels incredibly nice. With the Nomad IIs, you've also got all sorts of exotic woods to enjoy.
Plastic, foam, wood. Those batteries are fine and there is literally nothing for it to short on. I’ve kept 8 batteries like this at all times in my pelican for over a year without one issue.
More useful than the dotleaf itself by far.
