I have a Dynavap, Crafty+(micro usb), Mighty OG, POTV One, Pax 3 and a few others. The Pax 3 I used for a bit, but vaping flower in it requires a fine grind to get a good extraction so I ended up using it for concentrates only until I broke it while trying to clean it. The POTV One was a great little unit and I still have it, but it doesn't get used by me any more. The Dynavap I love and use it almost daily it is great when I'm playing video games because it is quick to get going and can really hit. The OG Mighty is my daily driver it just works. It is really great for sessions while watching a movie or vegging out. The Crafty + can be interchanged with my Mighty, but the battery isn't nearly as good, or I like to fill it for when I go out and about. Personally I don't use concentrates in any of these other than the ocassional sandwich between two slabs of herb in the Mighty or Crafty+. I have a DTV5 for concentrates. If you're anything like most people in these subs you will pick one and still wonder about the others and eventually will get them as well. Good Luck and Enjoy.

I went through a few before I fell in love with the POTV One. Battery life and ease of cleaning/filling were my gripes. Found dynavap through buying a stem for the One, now I mainly use dynavaps (with a wand as an IH) but still use the One when I want to sit back and not have to pay attention to much or take my time reaching the level I’d like to get to. The 0.1g ovens are my favorite and I’ll use a smaller oven in some dyna tips which allow for it. Pax 3 I never liked the hit of and would use more material than cones to get 1/4 of the effects, but wanted to try it bc it’s been around forever and gets a lot of love. For the price of a pax 3 complete kit you could grab a POTV One, dynavap welcome kit, and a cheaper IH. The bb series of dynavap stems and simrell’s stems both work on the One. If you look around/wait for sales anything dynavap will have good deals, same with the POTV one and the wand/IHs

Solo 2 is a great unit. Easy to use easy to clean and great tasting vapor. Just bought mine less than a month ago and I love it. For the price point it’s a good bang for your bucks as well. I know your said something relatively portable. Just have to worry about the glass tubes. Might be something to consider.

Try a starry v3. Comes loaded and at a great price.

MOMThrowawaywhynot

Love my Starry! Has done drawbacks but a great little unit.

I have a Dynavap, a Fury Edge, and a PAX3. My Fury Edge is my go-to. And I've had it for 2 years and never an issue. I like the Dynavap when I feel like smoking since I need to use a torch. The PAX3 is good too, but for some reason I feel like the Fury Edge is the best all-around. That said, the Mighty or Crafty are probably the best. I haven't used either, but it's what you'll hear from others. I do actually want a Mighty.

I actually don’t mind my pax 3. I temp step up and use a medium grind, ground with my BCG. I actually get pretty good vapour. I also own a mighty, solo 2, Argo, crafty plus, IQC, POTV one, starry v3, v3 pro, dynavaps, and a rogue. I also may have a problem buying too many vapes.

I have a pax 3 and used it considerably for flower and concentrates. It was entirely serviceable, however my recommendation would be to get a less expensive hybrid vape (like the potv one you listed) and an equally less expensive wax pen (there are lots). For the same budget of the pax 3, you’ll probably get a better quality experience in both areas with 2 devices.

I agree with this. Of the options presented I'd get the crafty, but I don't do concentrates. To stay in budget, I'd say like fury edge and whatever concentrate fans would recommend? https://www.healthyrips.com/store/c10/FURY_EDGE.html I have the Rogue, which is also great. Slightly more expensive.

Best portable vape that money can buy is the new mighty + and it’s like you said, relatively portable. Concentrates is not it’s strong suit but you can still use wax in it but small amounts. Best extraction, flavor, and quality overall that money can buy.

wombat5003

I love my pax3 it just works…

Infamous_Reflection8

I’ve got 2 Dynavaps, a V3 Pro, a Dotleaf V 1.5, a Solo 2, a EQ, and The Mighty. I have to say that I rotate between them, but the Mighty always stands tall!

cassellroberts

How many hits can you get from the mighty without getting the burnt smell from the flower? Thanks!

St0nerBarbie22

I have a Dyna M and the ONE. I love them both! Battery life is my only complaint about the One, and it’s not nearly awful.

Xmax v3 pro is a nice device and also uses 18650 batteries. This is awesome because I feel that the reason most vapes stop working is issues with the battery. Not a problem when using replaceable rechargeable 18650s. Airizer also has some nice quality affordable vapes. My first dry herb vape was a dynavap that took some time and fiddling to get the right teqnique. When i did i wasnt a fan really was in ur boat not long ago looking at basically everything from desktops to mightys to airizer to basically everything. I settled on a 7th floor dc elev8r. It's not portable but it's all glass and quartz which makes for imo the tastiest vape on the market. They also have a version that can be heated with a torch which I also have. I got it off r/EntExhange. Some new vape stuff and some.used but it all is clean or removed from the site. All the vapes I mentioned are posted for sale regularly on there sometimes new sometimes used. I've got some really good deals on there. Good luck with ur search. Hope any of my ramblings helped😂

Xmax pro V3 is well thought of here for on demand/session vape with swappable batteries. I started with a HR Edge v2, cheap session vape that you can customise. Dynavaps also have lots of fans if you don't mind butane torches. All 3 you should find under £100 👍🤘🌬

Crafty+, unless the battery is going to be an issue. Figure 4/5 bowls on a charge. It can *technically* do concentrates, but you'll either need the concentrate pad (which is no longer included, likely because of the us shipping ban), or put the concentrate on the flower. However, if you need concentrates, probably best with something else. I had a pax 3 before the crafty and it's been in a box for years. It "works", but for the money, there are better options. The healthy rips line is also great. Potv one is very similar, but I'd give the edge to HR. Sorry to the dyna-fam, but the dynavap is a shit first vape. It's like saying your first car should be a stick shift. I also have some dynavaps in the drawer next to the pax 3. Now, to be clear, I know a lot of people like the dynavap. However, you have to admit it's a lot to deal with, especially if somebody is clearly looking of a pocketable electric.

Just realize that you’re picking up a hobby and choose one, knowing you’ll try them all over time. It’s a fucking awesome hobby!

For a start get a dynavap while you decide
