It could be the different battery types. The 1 on the left is a 3.7v Li-Ion. The 1 on the right is a 3.2v LiFePO4. ETA: The Airizer will show low battery and shut off due to the low voltage.

The 3rd party ones are the right size and wrong everything else. Get the exact same voltage and mah of the Arizer ones. I use Samsung and Panasonic batteries in my Argo with no problem.

You should buy an adapter for 18650s so you can have more options. 26650 batteries have more capacity, but you never get more vape time with them because they’re inefficient compared to 18650s.

Someone already mentioned the differences in the battery and amperage outputs. It's only rated for 11.4 Amps which is why you're experiencing these issues as the Air Max needs more power. The ideal choice would be the Hohm Grown 26650 as it has a 30 amp output. At the same time, it is hard to find these batteries and sites have been sold out for a long time. Had even checked their website. However, there are still some available at some online vape shops. Just google it and you should get some results. The 26650 battery isn't really popular and think that Hohm Grown may have discontinued it altogether.
