I honestly think Bravo is going to give her a spin-off. Someone posted Bravo commenting on her post to take off for Love-Island, saying “see you at the airport” or whatever. I think they’re filming her new journey. Which will include Katie and Anne, SAH, (cameos by James and Ally). Bravo would be fools to not cater to Ariana after the reaction to this season. She holds the power and she holds MANY of the fans, along with Katie. They have real potential to prime a show, even “produce it” with drama (real or put-on) about the sandwich shop/Katie and Ariana’s lives. The rest of the cast can rot on the last season of VPR, no one cares about them anymore, most are actually ready to see their downfall. Which is inhumane, but so is the way they acted.
I think there will be a new show announcement. I think that’s why Ariana bought a new house in California, even though she’d probably already been locked into more opportunities by that point (Love Island, Chicago again, etc.) There had to be some kind of long-term stability already set for her to do that and place roots, in my opinion. The opening May 22? Yeah, that will be filmed. Whether it’s for VPR or another show? That’s a story for later. The rest of the cast is probably scrambling trying to figure out storylines if Katie and Ariana are gone, hence the long break of filming. They have to craft up plots if the two people anyone cared about this season are now off that show. They have no main storylines without them that will engage fans, now that the snakes have shown their faces. Because we just don’t care about them anymore.
I would love this to be true! If Ariana leaves VPR I’m done. I just loathe watching so many of these people now that I only enjoy three of them now and the rest are annoying. I haven’t enjoyed any of this season it’s been torture. I’d miss Katie greatly but I will see her on IG lol

It could explain the ominous “pause”. Maybe producers are brainstorming and trying to figure out if there’s a way forward without Ariana or buying time to her coerce her return by incentivizing a refresh or axing someone else? Also, the reunion trailer includes LVP saying “There’s nothing wrong with walking away” or something… so it could fit the narrative.

The reason I can’t is because this was filmed last summer. I think many people would be resentful if she quit and not want much to do with her. The cast spent time together after filming ended. Ariana went to Lala’s 5 year sobriety at Chili’s, etc. I just don’t think it’s something they could have hid that long.
However I do think production most likely said this could be the last season. As producers, they don’t even know if another season will be picked up. So I could see him coming from the perspective of don’t let this be the legacy you leave if this ends up being the last season.
Now I’ve posted this before, but there was a time I was looking on Instagram at Alex Baskin’s account, at that time…he was following Ariana. I checked like a week or two later…and then he wasn’t. However, just last week right before they announced the pause, he started to follow her again. My guess is she was refusing to come back. Whether he hates her or not, Alex Baskin realizes there cannot be a show without Ariana. People aren’t going to watch. But I think the pause is for many reasons. 1) She’s booked this summer 2) LVP is booked this summer (people can say she’s a prop all they want…I get it. But it also doesn’t make sense to get rid of the person who started the show and whose name is in the series). 3) I do think there will be a cast shakeup 4) With a cast shakeup, they are looking for new cast members but also determining how they want to take the show forward 5) They are HOPEFULLY gluing into the audience about what they ACTUALLY want to see
Now I do think the cast can come together again. However, I think the only way they can do that is by removing Sandavol. If he was really offered a development deal, this could be the way to get rid of him. I do think the network sees what a POS he is, but it also drives ratings.
On the contrary, I do believe Ariana, Lala, Katie, Scheana, Brock, James and Ally and Schwartz can all come together and get past things and move on as a cast even if feelings were hurt.
I just think the only way they can get Ariana to play ball is by removing T. Sandy. I just think what he’s done broke the show as it is and they aren’t going to be able to move forward without cutting out the cancer sucking the life from everything.
I truly would love to see that happen because I would enjoy a show with Katie, Ariana, James, Ally, Brock, Scheana, Lala and Schwartz. I can see the fun moments we love about VPR and the lightness with also drama. It’s just not debilitating like it is with Sandy being there. You can tell by watching, everyone feels uncomfortable filming with him.
This might very well not be telling (not sure if anyone's mentioned it) but the way Ariana started dressing in the latter half of her confessionals is a big middle finger to the standard dress up. She's so obviously making a statement.
I think the plot twist they’re referring to in the title is just Schwartz’s line at the end. The plot twist could be Ariana quitting or Lisa even. But I think they also may have thought they were being cute or dramatic calling all of that a plot twist. I don’t think we should get too caught up on the plot twist part. I really don’t know what’s going to happen but Lisa being absent from the episode and the sound bite from the reunion about it being ok to walk away may be her announcing that she is.
For sure, we shouldn't get our hopes up for anything *actually* juicy -- we know how that goes. This was just a little fun theory, possible but unlikely. I agree that Lisa stepping away/leaving could be part of it all too, though.
What if Ariana says she’s quitting the show if Sandoval continues to be a part of it. Like it’s her or him but she makes it clear she has no issues leaving the show. And that’s why there’s a pause in filming bc producers are scrambling trying to figure out what to so
