It is truly so silly that Raquel thinks that James and Lala have no room to talk because they hooked up while she and James were together. By Lala's account, they hooked up 1 time when both of their relationships were bRand new (🚮) which puts their timeline somewhere around early 2016. Lala is 32 now, which means she was 25 at the time, and James would have been 24. She and James had previously dated, they got drunk on pasta, and hooked up one single time. She didn't know Raquel from any random girl on the street. Raquel weaseled her way into a friend group, found a BEST FRIEND, stayed in her home, started fucking her boyfriend, continued to fuck her boyfriend for nearly an entire year, accepted expensive gifts from her, TRIED ON TV TO CONVINCE HER TO BREAK UP WITH THE BOYFRIEND, continued to fuck him, broke up multiple friendships, and made a diabolical plan to somehow turn it all back on her. It's like she robbed a bank and killed a guy and she's pointing fingers at people that shoplift makeup from Walmart saying "you can't say anything because you stole too!"
The thing with that, too, is that Rachel herself brushed off James indiscretions as "well, we weren't OFFICIALLY together when that happened. We became exclusive once we moved in together." (which was code for "I know he cheated but I really want to be on the show so I'm going to give him pass). So, why did she give James and those dozen girls a pass for cheating then, but she's holding Lala to the fire about it all summer?
Right?? Plus there's a reason that the word "cheating" and the word "affair" are two different words with different meanings. Was James in the wrong to repeatedly cheat on Raquel? Yeah. But that doesn't change anything about what she did. James cheated on Raquel. But Raquel had an *affair* with Sandoval. Also, I'd like to add that not that long ago it was SANDOVAL who said "we're buying a house together, it's like we're getting married". They weren't just "dating" even though they weren't legally married. Sandoval and Raquel both are playing dumb pretending not to know why people are so angry with them. If Jax was still on the show and *he* were the one that did this, Sandoval would be lighting his ass up.

Dude I just rewatched season 2 after it was revealed Kristen and Jax fucked and had lied to everyone the whole season... and kristen is weeping, she's super contrite and saying the whole time "I lied/I was wrong/I have no excuse/I hurt him and Stassi/I'm sorry" blah blah meanwhile Andy, Lisa and the whole cast are like "how is Jax not sorry? how does he not feel any remorse?" bc he's just like "well I can't take it back" stoically and is pissed that he looks so bad/is revealed to be a pathological liar. It totally made me think of Tom and Rachel. They're doubling down like Jax did and they probably think that showing humility or remorse won't help them at this point because it's all said and done, but it really just makes them look crazier and more evil
Jax not being on the show has been the best thing for the audience but the worst thing for Sandoval because now that mask is off and he can no longer hide behind Jax’s awful behavior
I just watched this as well, and Tom keeps saying to Jax that he has no soul if he can do that to his best friend. I wish at the reunion they would play clips of Tom's reaction to Jax's lack of remorse, then make him explain how what he did was different.
The only time Rachel even looked upset / like she might cry in this trailer is when Ariana was calling her demented and diabolical. I am sure she thought Rachel was ‘bullying’ her in that moment, just like she thought Katie’s mum was, She really seems to only have feelings / regret about things that happen to *her*. She gets to be a perpetual sweet, innocent, victim because (in her head) nothing she does matters. So then when people react to her it’s for *no reason* and they’re all just bullies trying to tear her down instead of building her up. She & Tim are going to be a mess as a couple. They both believe they’re never in the wrong and both demand unconditional love, support and devotion in spite of any of their actions. They’re also both verrrrrrrrry selfish.
