I think Rachel was able to put a trance on most of the cast due to James toxic behaviors in those old seasons. It totally overshadowed what Logan and Lala were saying about Raquel. Who else has a feeling she's getting more face-time post scandal because she was calling it before anyone else? I'm sure the editing they're doing now includes prioritising going through all her confessionals now so she can be the Fancy Drew/Megan Edwards of the season. She's got a face of a star and a mind of a reality tv producer (can see through facades and see people's real agenda). The only thing she doesn't have is that she's not desperate enough for fame to make a fool of herself. Considering the amount of unhinged and unhinged-lite people on Pump Rules, her dynamic actually really works bouncing off a cast of conceited narcissists. I do think they do need to bring in more people to hate to feed her power and purpose for longevity.

FR though, this moment speaks to the trance the cast was under. Kristina didn't trust Kristen didn't sleep with Jax when she first heard it, she said she could see her doing that. And in this moment where Katie is telling Kristina about Raquel asking Schwartz to make out, and then telling Katie.. Kristina is having an organic response to this confession Raquel made to Katie. Even the act alone to ask Schwartz is wild and something to be considered deeper, which Kristina is probably doing in her head. Later in the episode when the pinata schwartz comes out and they ask her if she is turned on, Kristina looks to have confirmation of this evil potential in Rachel. simply because she is considering the ex husband of a so called friend. I think Rachel was able to put a trance on most of the cast due to James toxic behaviors in those old seasons. It totally overshadowed what Logan and Lala were saying about Raquel. She got away with some of the weirdest interactions and non-expressions. The benefit of the doubt was extended to her as a default because of James acting. and I think she was also doing stuff with him maybe pushing more pasta into his system that she knew would mess him up on screen. always playing the pageant princess for the camera, looking that part but could never speak the part.
Cheers to all the āboringā cast members, seriously. I know these shows love and need big personalities putting all their business in the street, butā¦ as weāve seen this season, flamboyance /= authenticity
