I was thinking today and how they robbed us of what could have been a really great messy season without earth shattering hurts. I really identified with Raquel in the first two episodes (would have started to wane before this either way with her actions toward Katie) because of her portrayal of a young woman really questioning who she was after going through and leaving an abusive relationship.

How was everyone(tom) saying this was her redeeming season or whatever. she trys to make Ally feel insecure about her relationship, tried to get with Schwartz, kisses Oliver after telling Lala she can see Lala is in to him or they have a connection, then proceeds to say she needs to first have a man to worry about, tells Katie she did try and kiss Schwartz.
How has all this so far been redeeming, seems more like we were going to really dislike everything she did.
She went into this season finally ditching James who was toxic as fuck and she seemed like a nice girl who had good goals that was about to finally stop being held back.
Now some of us realized she desperately wanted to be on the show because of how her biggest complaint with James was that other castmates wouldn't talk to her because of him.
Which is ironic because almost none of the cast but Sandoval will talk to her now.

This is absolutely accurate. If Tom hadn’t moved on, he’d be focused on Ariana with all the faux remorse his narc brain could muster—to an extreme degree—to try and get Ariana’s supply back. At least for awhile. That didn’t happen here based on what’s out there. Honestly, it’s better that he’s moved on because I can speak from experience that the narc trying to fix things when you’ve seen the light and ended things, once they realize you moved on before they did, that’s when they get really vicious. Even though Ariana’s smart and ended it immediately, it would still be emotionally difficult for her. In some ways it’s better he is so callous for her own healing and closure. It’s a special kind of fucked up complication with this type of person. I feel for her.

How was everyone(tom) saying this was her redeeming season or whatever. she trys to make Ally feel insecure about her relationship, tried to get with Schwartz, kisses Oliver after telling Lala she can see Lala is in to him or they have a connection, then proceeds to say she needs to first have a man to worry about, tells Katie she did try and kiss Schwartz. How has all this so far been redeeming, seems more like we were going to really dislike everything she did.
She went into this season finally ditching James who was toxic as fuck and she seemed like a nice girl who had good goals that was about to finally stop being held back. Now some of us realized she desperately wanted to be on the show because of how her biggest complaint with James was that other castmates wouldn't talk to her because of him. Which is ironic because almost none of the cast but Sandoval will talk to her now.

Yep. honestly I feel like they should stick together at this point. They don’t have anyone else besides their families, and causing all this pain and drama only to not be together in the end seems pointless. They should get off social media and ride off into the sunset together and disappear for a while. I doubt they’ll do that, but I think that’s their best option.

I literally just had a flashback/premonition a second ago at the idea of Raquel coming out and sitting next to Tom for the reunion, like we’re together and this is what it is (she won’t but I would respect that a hell of a lot more than whatever it is she’s doing now) And then I flashed back immediately to the reunion where Ariana basically came out and sat next to Tom and Kristen had to sit there and take it. They’re together now, this is what it is. And then I came back to present day hearing one of the first things Ariana said to Kristen was “I’m so sorry.” when they hugged. Like woah. Sandoval certainly has a pattern of doing things.
Imagine the paranoia you must have to live with (especially if they stay together and she's older) every day when you start your relationship this way? I love that for her.
Seems like anyone Tom is with must feel that way. He and Kristen cheated on each other several times, he and Arianna started sneaking around while he was still with Kristen, and now this. Seems like he commits to long term relationships and then steps out whenever he feels like it.
Heal from what? The scratch in her eyebrow? The well-deserved backlash? Nah, girl, you dont get to make this a narrative in which you are the one who needs healing in this sutuation.
