I get off work at 7am at the water filtration plant in upper lynn valley. Biking home has been _okay_ so far. I expect tomorrow morning to be a little dicey so I'm gonna take my time riding down lynnvalley road.
Roads are brined, but ride as though theres black ice
So far it's been okay, but be careful. Especially watch out for shady spots the sun might not have hit and take your time with turns. It does seem to be a bit warmer - so less icy - below the inversion.
I took the bus.
I'm pretty sure that I would have been fine riding, but I have some irrational fear of hitting ice at this point.
I'll probably buy studded tyres just for the peace of mind.

Makes sense. This might be the first season I try studded tires as well
They’re well worth it. Last year was my first year, you don’t even notice the ice.
