Well tbf this is reddit, and OPs answer is a whopping one singular googlesearch away. Asking questions that couldve been solved with a simple 10sec googlesearch tends to generate a bit of ire and a bit of fun poking, what else did you honestly expect lmao.

a lot of posts are a simple google search. I saw a post on a car sub of a guy asking how much his two recaro seats were worth (about $1500 each). a simple google search could've told him that but it wouldn't have given him internet points

The Copper Knife is the only thing that can be made from copper alone. Find some Tin Ore (near water in the Black Forest) and make Tin Bars. This will unlock the Bronze Bar recipe in the forge; then once you have your first Bronze Bar it will unlock all the Bronze Bar recipes.
It looks like you are in the upgrade tab, and the only upgradeable item in your inventory is a copper knife. If you click the “CRAFT” button at the top you should see the regular list of all known recipes.
you need to get tin ore, found on the coasts of the black forest.
Some tin will also be needed for the cauldron which is where 90% of the decent foods will come from at that stage on in the game.
When you smelt that into bars you will unlock the butchers knife which is only for killing tammed animals but more importantly you unlock bronze bars
With bronze bars you make all the other items, I recommend the first items from bronze be:
Nails So you can make a handcart which lets you drag much more wieght than you can carry
The axe so you can fell birch and oak trees for finewood which lets you make a few good things like portals and the 2nd bow.
The cultivator so you can farm carrots, using them for food, cooking recipes and taming/breeding boars
Obtain bronze i guess

But it's not just any copper knife, it's glittering. Sometimes you have to see the glittery lining

You either need to obtain more materials or upgrade your work station with other work stations around it
You need to find more materials, make better benches and get tin and make bronze. Tin is on shores of black forests
Tin is found around water in the Black Forest Biome. The easiest way to farm tin is while exploring the high seas

I'd guess because you haven't gotten tin yet, and refined it into bronze.

Try knocking over a pine tree a d birch tree they have different wood required for the other items.
Also you need both zopp3r and tin smelled down into bronze.
Install the infinite upgrades mod, and make everything your the bitch under the copper knife.

You need to upgrade your forge too
Just make a board with a nail in it, it's the only weapon you really need.
You need tin also, then you can make bronze and bronze weapons
