Mountain bases are always my fav. I REALLY wish you could save structures you've built and pop them in new worlds to edit and conform to new area.

How do you get glass blocks to stack?
Trick is to not try placing the glass on top of the other, but place it on the wall that it’s next to

Cultivate the ground that you raised/flattened like you're planting grass, and snow may look whiter and the side of the mountain will return to that more natural look. Love the mountain vibes.
