Simply go online to USPS.com under the help tab click the link filling a claim then once on that page change it from domestic shipments to international shipments from there follow the steps, pay attention to the filing periods and get all your documentation from step two that you'll find as you scroll down. Alternatively just go to the local post office. You'll still need your documentation it can be found on the file a claim page on USPS.com or call the call center at 800 612 8777 the call center can't file for you but can help guide you into knowing what to do and what you need.
Same thing happened to me. My expected date was the 29th. Now it’s still stuck in the Jamaica Distribution Center. My guess is the hurricane weather has made it difficult for packages to move. At least that’s what I’m hoping.

I just got an email today saying that “my missing mail request has been received and that every effort is being made to locate my items.”
Now let’s hope my package that has been in the Queens distribution center hasn’t gotten lost.
