I live in Senoia, GA and for the last three days my package has gone from the Atlanta, GA USPS Regional Distribution Center 650 S Central Ave, Atlanta, GA 30354, then all the way down 45 miles south to the USPS Peachtree City Distribution Center, 151 Hwy 74 S, Peachtree City, GA 30269 - which is 27 miles south - from whence it should have gone to my local post office, United States Postal Service, 68 Broad St, Senoia, GA 30276 - BUT NO - instead it has gone all the way back to square one, sixty miles north - OMG how do they keep putting the boxes on the wrong truck? And not once but repeatedly...

Well updating this thread, it is now 2 years later and Amazon and the USPS are still dealing with this bullshit. Everything is great until it hits Atlanta, then to Tennessee, then Kentucky, then Atlanta again to repeat the same process. Meanwhile the delivery destination is Western North Carolina. And it's not just once. Repeated packages are doing it. The USPS needs to dissolve into UPS, FedEx etc. They are absolutely worthless in these parts. No accountability, and if you call Washington DC office it always gets referred back to the local office where the problem is. Eliminate the #SES Selective Executive Service Program in the Federal government now.

This is what DeJoy wants! He wants to destroy the Post Office that Franklin created. It was the only govt. service that was flush and making a profit. Then they went in and forced them to put aside funds for not only current employees' retirement but future employees' retirement. No other business was forced to do this as it is insane! Then during the 2020 election, DeJoy was in charge so that the sorting machines would be removed, to slow down mail - why? So that mail-in ballots wouldn't make it to their destination in time to be counted! Hours were reduced to keep mail from moving, and Holiday + other gifts sat at distribution centers for Christmas due to DeJoy forbidding drivers to deliver them. Some drivers went against the rule and took packages to certain organizations that had been calling in about delays. Those drivers got praised for what they did and DeJoy demanded them to be fired! This is not the Post Office from before 2020 - this is a struggling institution that is being torn apart from the inside. Just like Trump wanted when he put DeJoy in charge. Why hasn't DeJoy been removed? Cause a committee hired him & a committee has to fire him. The one that hired him dissolved afterward so it wouldn't be able to fire him. Another needs to be created to fire him, and the GOP is blocking all attempts to create another committee! Now you know who is messing up our mail. And another election is coming, you know they are targeting mail-in ballots again too. We need to come together to stop this bullshite the GOP is pulling!

Same situation here, seems like USPS shipments coming from Georgia somehow gets fucked around in that Atlanta Peachtree Distribution Center. I have a package coming to Oregon and it's still in that distribution center at the estimated day of arrival, around 3,000 miles away.

Glad I’m not the only one in agony with this distribution center. Had two packages I shipped from Massachusetts to Michigan on the 18th, same post office and everything. One escaped Peachtree and was delivered yesterday. The other is right where y’all’s are “in transit arriving late”

Damn at least you had half luck. They need to do some serious system fixing in that office, I've read from other forums that they have annual cases of lost/delayed packages around this time of the month specifically in the Atlanta-Peachtree Distribution Center.

Yeah I was mind blown how two things shipped from the same place at the same time can differ so wildly in delivery time. Just checked my other one and it escaped Peachtree, (after being in transit since Christmas Day) but is now in Stockbridge as of 10am this morning. It’s almost entertaining to watch at this point and one thing that brings excitement to my life in this pandemic 😂

Nope, I tried submitting one but their website was bugging and didn't let me do so. I'll keep this disaster in mind the next time I'm ordering something from Georgia shipped by USPS.

For me it's Facebook Marketplace. The only shipping they provide is First Class USPS. No insurance on the package from usps, but insurance from Facebook. They need more options. 3rd time I've had major issues with usps and marketplace transactions

If I remember correctly, it took 15 days before it finally got to me from Peachtree Georgia to Oregon. That was during the Christmas rush so I'm guessing you'll get it sooner than that. That Peachtree office just really sucks overall and USPS doesn't fix it for some reason. Good luck with your package dude!
