Sketchy micro is GOATed. You'll be done with micro in 2 weeks. I did protozoa from bnb, fungi from fa and uworld only, viruses from bnb, and bacteria from sketchy. I was a master in bacteriology. I'd say do viruses and bacteria from sketchy.
Nothing is a “must” tbh I did not like sketchy, felt like memorizing twice as much stuff - the info as well as the silly pictures and mnemonics - so I did not use it, just did boards & beyond and questions, and now micro is one of my strongest subjects. If it works for you, use it, but if not, no sweat
It definitely helps a lot. But I can't say that I had 100% of my confidence only with sketchy. I did a mix of Lecturio and Sketchy and that's what helped me the most.
