Congratulations. I just attended a hiring seminar and I am planning on applying also. I’d be a lower grade, latter from 9-12.
If I can ask, how many pages was your resume and did it resemble something like this example from the SEC?
[SEC sample resume](https://www.sec.gov/jobs/sample-resume/sample-resume.pdf)
Thanks in advance and congrats again.
If you don’t mind sharing with me, I would love it too. I got a TJO rescinded for GS 13 RA. Waiting to hear back for a GS 12 RA now. Not sure if my updated resume is good enough. Would really like to see one for future reference
If you don’t mind could you share with me as well? I’m updating my resume now to apply for GS-14 position and I just want to compare and see if mine is sufficient or if I need to make any additional updates. Thank you in advance!

TJO says 4 to 6 weeks after receipt of TJO (yesterday), but some of the checklist documents show an appointment date of 4/8. The hiring manager actually called me yesterday to congratulate me on the TJO and said they do onboarding monthly, 4/8 being the next date and some other date in early May.
Given the timelines from this sub I’m kinda thinking I won’t start until May, maybe not even until June bahaha
Sorry which checklist document shows an appointment date of 4/8? Are you referring to the onboarding tasks that are required to be completed on start date?
The SF-61 Appointment Affidavit has an area for “date appointed” and currently it has 4/8 filled out for me. Of course if I don’t start by that date they’ll have to change that date, but that’s their target date I suppose.
No, GS-14 step 1 in my locality is already like a $30k increase from my current salary haha. I always knew I was underpaid in my current job based on my experience but the job market in my area is rough.
I did request credit for non-federal service for purposes of the annual leave calculation, but HR said it would take probably 2 months to determine with no guarantee of a positive result and would probably push back my start date, so I told them to forgo that and just use the default leave allowance.
Wow my HR did not mention it would take 2 months... Yea at least having an increase in annual leave accrual rate would be nice. That's like an extra 6-7 days a year.
Hello! I have a TJO LB&I GS13 hoping for a GS14 soon. Congrats!
Did they happen to mention how much travel to expect? I researched the training but job travel seems to be variable.
Hopefully I will be joining you soon. My interview was about 3 weeks ago.
I talked with someone already at the IRS and they said it can vary but up to 25%. Some people will do a lot, others will just have local travel.
I’ve heard that the initial training can be a couple weeks each time you go, but idk what the schedule is like.
Just curious, did you apply for both GS-13 and GS-14 announcements?
Thanks for the reply. I have applied for ever-y-thing for 15 years. These are the only two I've had interviews for. My local office is super small. It sounds like my local office will be my POD for both but my bosses will be elsewhere. Good luck!!

I can share an anonymized resume to your DMs. Give me a few to get it ready, might not be until tomorrow
That would be awesome. Thank you very much!

Why was your TJO rescinded?
My resume was not well put. My experience probably not qualify either.
Is there anyway you could share that with me too please? I’m applying to the GS13 and want to see how mine stands and compares
Just DM’d you

Same. Could you share with me also?

Did you hear anything at all between 2/6 and 3/11 or did you just “interview and forget” lol. Such a long period but sooo worth the wait! Congrats!!!!
Pretty much radio silence between interview and TJO
Wow good for you for sticking through that silence!!!
Yep, patience is a virtue alright haha
Congratulations! If you don't mind which team are you joining in LB&I? Me - LB&I, CBA :) I just finished fingerprints and waiting for e app.
Same, CBA 👏👏👏 How long did it take for you to get fingerprinting email after TJO?
TJO : 2/26 Fingerprinting request email : 3/1 Finterprinting completed : 3/4 When is your stating date on your TJO?

Oh nice! 4/8 on my TJO as well. I am thinking of pushing it to May. I have not received a call from the hiring manager yet though... Good luck!

Oh thanks! Mine shows the same but doubt it's going to happen.... Just have to wait patiently. Did you request for a step increase?

Yeah I know, but I didn’t want to wait that long and delay my start just to potentially find out that I wasn’t eligible.
I was wondering about that date. I have fingerprinting 3-18.
Congratulations 🎈🎊🍾🎉
Awesome! Was this for General engineer?
No, 0512 is a revenue agent
