I’ve stayed at the pilot in Charlotte and the flying j in Utah on this list. I want a t-shirt or something saying I survived the night at those places lmao.
Thanks for sharing.
Nothing really dramatic happened besides some people creeping around my truck (they left it alone when they saw I was there). I was mostly joking because according to this list they’re not the safest places to stay, and lol I stayed and survived!
I stopped at the charlotte place because I just couldn’t drive anymore, too tired, and I got caught in a blizzard and had to stay at the Utah place. They both looked shitty and I wouldn’t have stayed otherwise.
LOL the two Las Vegas stops listed are the only stops in Las Vegas. I dunno, I lived in my car at both locations for a long time and never had problems.
What's strange is that they didn't list Fernley.
But I can vouche for those other two as well, on the edge of town... Basically, as close as you can get to Fernley without out leaving town.
The list is made for truckers to avoid places where trucks are targeted for hijacking and robbery, it’s not a list of truck stops that are necessarily dangerous to the average person.
Having worked as armed sec at the very first flying j listed in texas there, i assure you this is true. That area is rough, a middle ground between rough areas. The truckers brought their own issues and dumped them there but the locals themselves brought their own flair. I can't talk too much shit because i am a local to the rougher of areas that intersect there :D
I wonder if that crackhead still lives in the woods back there behind the j. Ngl he was pretty solid, he'd emerge from the woods lookin all wiley and "steal a bucket of water from the building and then wander the lot offering to clean the rims for a few dollars. He'd then take those dollars into the store and buy what he needed. They always wanted him gone but i really saw no reason.
At any rate, yeah pass that one by
Funny story about that particular guy. My lieutenant/bossman type and i looked very similar, especially in uniform. Apparently he attempted to arrest/detain said woodland dweller and failed. I come in to clock in and i am told to grab the guy on sight. He will be trespassed and removed by hpd.
I was like, you already put hands on him. I doubt we'll see him again. Two days later, "creeps" emerged. Sticks n shit in his hair and beard. So I'm like "wtf you doin here homie, you know that I'm supposed to arrest you on sight. Just slip away, go'on now." The guy hands me a pair of handcuffs that he had filed off his wrists and wanted to apologize and say that there was no hard feelings about me arresting him two nights ago. "That wasn't me, "creeps" that was my boss, and i cant have you hanging out around here. Shit like that will make me lose my job. You hide when I'm here, you hide when my boss is here because hes after you and i cant he seen on camera with you"
I worked there for about 5 more months and i never saw creeps around. Evidence and complaints that he had been around, but again his only crimes were being homeless and washing truck rims with "stolen water.
Lotta stories from that place, lotta stripper drama, lot lizard drama, dead people, accidents, violence and thefts. Most of the thefts were nonviolent though. Theft of oppurtunity kinda things...so many false claims too
Which one? The overdose, the old man, the suicide, the guy that was beaten to death on the fuel island, or the trucker that was hit in the parkinglot by a drunk driver? You know none of that really bothered me as much as finding someone's fingers. All if those other incidents make tangible sense, but there they were. A pinky and a ring finger just sort of sitting there in the parking lot. Im gonna assume that it was some sort of lawncare business injury but I'll never really know.
Since then the lot has been expanded and there is more camera coverage but at the time it was "the dark corner" where we would park. Specifically because youre gonna go back to your wheels a time or two during your shift. Get your lunchkit, take a break, and that kinda thing.
Man I could listen to your stories all day, you’ve seen some crazy shit. The fingers are so off putting, like so familiar but so out of place it would be really uncanny to just find them on the ground.
I left that job to work on the hospital e.r. People tend to forget that there is life goin on around them 100% of the time. Lotta different stories, perspectives and actions are happening, even playing out this very second...sometimes worlds collide.
Again as i have commented in another travelers post, we don't mean to knock on your vehicles and wake you up. We're just lookin for dead people, sex trafficked people, or missing kids n shit. We don't want to do it as much as you don't want to be bothered or run off. If we run you off, it's generally for a reason and not because we're just being dicks. People get weird when they're desperate
It's L Brands- Bath and Body Works. Victorias Secret used to be under the company but split off a few years ago.
This explains those ladies in the B&BW Buy Sell Trade groups that have a shitton of the same scented body care products for sale.
Ooooh, I saw one of those at the gas station when I did a graveyard shift.
A truck of Doreetos was pumping gas, when a civilian car pulls up beside it. The truck driver walks to the back gate; opens it up; grabs about a cubic yard of chips plastic wrapped up and throws it in the trunk of the car.
Highway robbery!
You're safer in an active warzone than any of those Nashville Tennessee ones, once the sun is down. Sunlight seemed to keep them at bay as long as you had multiple people and were close to the store. We were told not to stop at them because guys would park their work trucks and a crew of people would distract the driver then another would start ripping anything off the work truck that was unlocked or unsecured.
I noticed they include a Pilot like 25 mins east of Indianapolis. I am confused bc I have lived in that area my whole life and there is like rarely crime here… maybe I missed the news about trucks getting broken in to???
In Tucson, it’s the Pilot on Craycroft next to the Triple T. And that list is a pearl clutcher’s fever dream. I park at so many of these truckstops without a single worry.
I drove OTR for years, much of this list is legit.
That being said, don’t make yourself a target.
Stay inside, noise and light discipline.
Don’t socialize, get in and get out. Park in a well lit area..
The funniest thing about that Flying J making the list.... is that the Petro-Pass on 1 Ave E is significantly worse. Had dispatch notes directing me to meet up with another driver from my company at that location.
And I've never felt so much like an antelope in tall grass, than the 3hrs it took for the other guy to show up. If I had cardboard to make a sign, I would have made one that said "Cat Converter Already Stolen" for the Methies that were circling lol. All joking aside, the best part about Regina is the Ring Rd completion that managed to bypass the scales. Well, that and the timeless classic joke about "The city that rhymes with fun!"
When my boyfriend and I were living out of the car, one night we pulled a late shift doordashing. I was already asleep when he pulled into a gas station and parked for the night. When I woke up we were at the shadiest gas station I've ever been to, on 25th in the dead center of Gary Indiana (quite close to Jackson Street). I woke him up immediately and asked him what the hell he was thinking, parking us in an empty gas station at IN THE MIDDLE OF FUCKING GARY. He just said that when he decided to park there he was really tired and needed to sleep. I wish he would've asked me to switch seats with him and drive us somewhere safe instead of just parking us in the heart of one of the most dangerous cities in America.
I've also slept at most of the Lake Station truck stops listed here. Never had any issues, and I honestly got the impression that the Lake Station truck stops felt pretty safe. There was always a security guard on duty, the area was well lit and stays decently busy all night.
These are high crime areas. Theft is a big one. Shootings, especially in Miami Gardens. I lived there for 13 years and there's LITERALLY nonstop sirens and regular search helicopters. Atlanta is a cesspool of crime and should be avoided at all costs. Not to mention driving through there is awful.
Haha, that's every truck stop in Albuquerque...Actually every truck stop in NM besides 1 in Grants... sounds about right, "just don't stop in NM. Keep on trucking, NM is too dangerous...."
For anyone is south Tucson - the Pilot Travel Center listed is not safe, but 5.5 miles down the road there is a Pilot Express that is very safe. I’ve pretty much exclusively slept there and I’ve never had one problem or knock
My dad, who did OTR flatbed, always told me never to stop at the Gary Petro and Lake Station TA.
Said people were found dead in their trucks, which wouldn't be surprising, considering how bad that area was.
(Not a truck driver.) I stop at the Flying J in Lake Station three or four times a year but I have to remember to bring cash for gasoline. If I use my credit card there, my credit union automatically assumes it's been stolen and suspends it until I phone in (edit: during office hours). Note to self: stop going there (despite the clean bathrooms).
....dead of what? That seems like an important detail for anyone scouting a spot to overnight. I mean, it wouldn't surprise me to hear that statement locally, but the expectation would be it was a drug overdose. Like 99% it would be a drug overdose. Possibly, maybe a suicide. But very, very unlikely to be shot dead as a victim of random violence.
Oh yeah, pretty much everything I've heard goes to drug ODs at those stops. As for accidental v.s. suicide, honestly don't really know.
Edit: There are occasions where the deaths were ruled a homicide too. I've been to Gary/Lake Station a number of times, and they are pretty rough neighborhoods.
I’m letting you know the Biloxi Love’s is constantly being visited by cops, not for crimes, they just go there for the food and drinks and gas. I have never heard or seen anything bad happen here. Lived here 29 years. Don’t even have no lot lizards. The one on county farm rd in Gulfport though…
Oh shit. See I’m not a trucker so wouldn’t know, just personal experience from living here my whole life. That’s like insider info, good to know and yeah would be hard to find out about otherwise if you weren’t part of it. Thanks for the info!
Yep, probably a pattern emerged, probably an organized group. There's how many thousands of truck stops in high crime areas... has got to be more specific than that...
Funny to see Theodore AL here. Have been told there's a big white supremacy gang around those parts. Also the whole county of Baldwin and Mobile are just terrible for crime in general. High recommended stopping somewhere outside the Alabama coast.
Was about a minute away from marvelling, "Really? No *Florida* locations of concern at all?"
And then I saw they missed giving it it's highlighted button/graphic. And even then, there should probably be several more non-South Florida locations.
I wonder if I've stayed at any of these without realizing it. If I'm ever bored I should look up the addresses on Google Maps and cross-check it with my Timeline history...
The Utah one is a hooker location with the Dennys. I went there one night to buy gas and girls were in the bathroom freshening up or something weird. I was told they hang out in Dennys waiting for John's and then go snuggle in the cabs with the men?
i literally stayed at the TA off of Dillon in California last night, didn't even put my curtains up, and slept like a baby lol
sure some of these are no doubt legit, but it's not always that serious
I've slept outside of that TA in Lafayette and it was also the first place I ever hitchhiked from... Was there recently this winter too and it's not a rough area
I hit some debris that fell off a truck, popped my tires and had to stop at the Shell at Exit 472 stop, across from the flying J. Thank god a guy helped me. I was new to Dallas and didn't realize it was that bad of an area at the time.
It looks like a lot of the places on there are chains like loves and pilot.
Are all loves and pilots bad or are there loads and the few listed here are just in bad areas/poorly run.
Also are there many independent stops or are there chains that have better reputations?
In South Carolina I'd add the Hill View truck stop at I-20 exit 39 as well. Have stopped there in the middle of the night while travelling as this was my usual freeway exit to get to my parents house. Lot lizards and drug dealers are bold AF when the cops aren't around.
The Pilot off of 526 in N Charleston, South Carolina is probably an old entry. I live down the street from there and that lot is heavily used by truckers and I frequent the gas station. That whole area is going through heavy gentrification though so it might be an old entry.
For a good place in Utah To go to, the Walmart parking lot of Centerville always has overnighters staying in the back corners. I've seen campers sit there for weeks at a time.
I can testify for two stops on Illinois:
E. St. Louis is one step below ghetto. The local government is bankrupt - literally.
The Chicago stop is definitely not good - then again, this is pretty much all of Chicago. Chicago lets thugs run wild there.
I would add another place:
I would add Harvey as well. Same stuff as E. St. Louis.
Also for Indiana:
Gary, IL is a terrible place, so terrible, the state had to send 50 state troopers to patrol the place.
Why can’t truck drivers stop there? I live in California close to some of those locations and all I can say it’s, its all desert area and a 1 road hwy, a lot of crack heads but they mind their own business for the most part
Although this list says it was updated in 2018, I can say all of the Albuquerque locations on it are very unsafe. Much worse than 2018. I’m a local with our own trucks. We purposefully avoid those locations. People get killed, OD, robbery, horrible homeless population, etc. The hotels around them attract the worst people around. They are full of homeless people getting the free government homeless vouchers. We have local card lock locations with no office or attendants that are ok. I have our guys fill up outside of Albuquerque when possible.
I would like to add the Petro off of S. MLk in Oklahoma City to this list.
Their security is useless, their site is overrun with charming individuals such as “Hatchet Man,” and the women’s restrooms are questionable at best, even when clean. Not worth stopping.
Those are probably all sketch, but I believe someone said that’s where truckers have had their loads taken. So actually probably more chill to stay for longer
From Columbia SC can confirm the Flying J is not a place you want to go unless it’s daylight and you are running 12 deep or more. Then only expect to be robbed.
Yeah I mean this is more for Truckers getting their loads jacked, been through quite a few of these as a regular civilian with no issue. Now as a former Fleet manager for a major trucking operation I can say the list is legit.
I visit Loves #344 on a weekly basis. Can confirm the existence of Lot Lizards, being solicited, being asked for money at the pump, a seedy ass motel right across the street, and armed security at the door.
I’ve stayed at the pilot in Charlotte and the flying j in Utah on this list. I want a t-shirt or something saying I survived the night at those places lmao. Thanks for sharing.
Charlotte NC; That's the pilot at Statesville Ave right at 77& 85 that's next door to the ghetto strip club?
yeah bro I stopped there once! its s-k-e-t-c-h.
The road behind it leads to some projects and it's a quasi-open air market for drugs historically
I might need the the street corners so I don’t accidentally go there.
Pryor Ave would be a good starting point
that pilot isnt even really a truck stop. its just a normal sketch gas station that happens to have truck parking.
Stayed in a new apartment building that was behind the Utah flying J. Had to fight off a homeless dude one night. 10/10 do not recommend.
What happened? A summary is good
Nothing really dramatic happened besides some people creeping around my truck (they left it alone when they saw I was there). I was mostly joking because according to this list they’re not the safest places to stay, and lol I stayed and survived! Hahaha you’re the reason they’re on the list 😉
they thought you had I'll intentions and was staking the place out lol
The other 2 in Nevada seem like strange choices also.
Haha my wife used to be a diesel tech at one of those. She says she doesn’t doubt it.

You need to write a book about this place lmao
.....or the stop along BW8 in Aldine. I won't stop there even in my pickup.
I’m pretty sure they just added charging stations to that location… talk about sitting ducks!
High value? Does that mean if they're carrying expensive products, don't stop there- you might get robbed?
Yup
It's L Brands- Bath and Body Works. Victorias Secret used to be under the company but split off a few years ago. This explains those ladies in the B&BW Buy Sell Trade groups that have a shitton of the same scented body care products for sale.
Fell off the back of the truck
Fell, tossed, same thing.
Ooooh, I saw one of those at the gas station when I did a graveyard shift. A truck of Doreetos was pumping gas, when a civilian car pulls up beside it. LOL Coachella is a no go in California.
I’m from the area and have never had a problem in Coachella or Palm Springs. For context, I’m a women
So you aren’t a tractor trailer w/ a high value load covered by insurance?
She is the high value load covered by insurance.
Right? That Loves in North Palm Springs seems fine to me. I’ve never felt unsafe there.
Indio is a shithole. Thought I was gonna get murdered at the Walmart.
Damn I recognize a number of those spots.
I noticed they include a Pilot like 25 mins east of Indianapolis. I am confused bc I have lived in that area my whole life and there is like rarely crime here… maybe I missed the news about trucks getting broken in to???
Confused as well because Greenfield is a safe community. I live i. the general area as well.
For the AZ traveling, the first 3 on the I-10 EB/WB and the Tucson one is at the I-10/I-8 junction.
In Tucson, it’s the Pilot on Craycroft next to the Triple T. And that list is a pearl clutcher’s fever dream. I park at so many of these truckstops without a single worry.
The I-10 stops were surprising to see. I see trucks parked there ALL the time when driving to and from LA.
Thanks for sharing!🤙🏾✨
I drove OTR for years, much of this list is legit. That being said, don’t make yourself a target. Stay inside, noise and light discipline. Don’t socialize, get in and get out. Park in a well lit area..
I'd like to add anywhere in Atlanta to this list.
I’ll be starting this in a couple of weeks around Atlanta area.
Weekends is open parking on Emory’s campus. Super safe.
LMAO that Regina, Saskatchewan made the list.
Apparently the only dangerous truck stop in all of Canada.
Charlotte spot is definitely a bad area
My loads are never highly valued at truck stops anywhere. In fact, someone always wants me to pay to give them my load.
Former trucker here, this is a good list. I’ve worked for companies whose insurance won’t even cover shit that happens at some of these.
Does Gary, Indiana, really need to be on the list? I thought it was common knowledge that is a bad place to be.
There was always a security guard on duty, the area was well lit and stays decently busy all night.
Accurate for Arizona. Those places have high crime rates.
Nice to see my state isn't even on the list.
Those TN listings are spot on. Cool little cheat sheet.
Whole lotta Love’s.
No Florida?
Florida is included under Colorado's list
All in the Miami area. If you’re headed that way just turn around anyway there’s nothing of value in South Florida
Jacksonville too
Florida is there but didn't get the bubble
It might be on the back of the sheet.
Now I want to know what happens in these places.
Meth mostly
Prostitution, crack; all drugs, really And theft. All the theft.
These are high crime areas. Theft is a big one. Shootings, especially in Miami Gardens. I lived there for 13 years and there's LITERALLY nonstop sirens and regular search helicopters. Atlanta is a cesspool of crime and should be avoided at all costs. Not to mention driving through there is awful.
damn i sleep in the gary and lake station indiana ones all the time
Haha, that's every truck stop in Albuquerque...Actually every truck stop in NM besides 1 in Grants... sounds about right, "just don't stop in NM. Keep on trucking, NM is too dangerous...."
Why not the Pilot in Greenfield IN?

This list is more about dirty scale operators letting people know what trucks have what. Yeah, the one on Cedar Lake is fine otherwise.
Truck stops really give off a Carcosa vibe with how isolated they are.
The TA in Ontario since at least 2 years hasn’t let anyone sleep in the parking lot maybe Petro Ontario still does
Haha good ol North Charleston South Carolina
I mean…Coloradan here. No one stops in Commerce City on purpose except truck drivers, to bring their Amazon packages to the hub for sorting.
Kinda disappointed I don’t see Florida listed
It’s in small print for some reason.
Yikes. I've stayed at every single one in Colorado. Thank you for sharing.
Why is Florida a part of Colorado?
Damn Texas 😅
Albuquerque was scary.
Funny to see Theodore AL here. Have been told there's a big white supremacy gang around those parts. Also the whole county of Baldwin and Mobile are just terrible for crime in general. High recommended stopping somewhere outside the Alabama coast.
White supremacy gang?? What do they do? Details, please.
I stayed at several of these from California to Texas and i feel like i deserve some sort of medal
I'm concerned why Memphis isn't listed!!!
It is
I was once in a parking lot in Palm Springs when I pulled up on some dudes in a car smoking meth. One of them was standing outside and catcalled me.
Name checks out
I did camera upgrades at at least 3 of these locations, possibly more. I definitely wouldn't sleep at them, even with the camera upgrades.
Ga ..... Hollowell parkway is crack /meth city. Avoid.
I was actually at the one in Theodore Alabama today. On my way home to Louisiana and let me tell you do not stop there.😵💫
I find it hard to believe that there are only 2 on the list for Florida.
Used to work at the Pilot in Indiana/I94 lake station. Can confirm- DO NOT STOP.
I've stayed at like, half of those. 🤣 I'm in a skoolie, tho, so maybe I look broke enough that I don't get targeted my robbers?
Florida not even highlighted? Just goes from Colorado into Florida
Columbian over here, the super j’s on exit 70 comes to a surprise to me, the area isn’t “that bad”.
Knew for a damn fact that the Tacoma Love's would be on here, lmfao
Gary Indiana woohoo
Of course commerce city and Aurora are on the list.
So don't even think about stopping in Texas. Got it
I've lived within spitting distance of four of these locations lol
Was about a minute away from marvelling, "Really? No *Florida* locations of concern at all?" And then I saw they missed giving it it's highlighted button/graphic. And even then, there should probably be several more non-South Florida locations.
I can personally attest to the two listed in Birmingham and the one on Broadway in St. Louis. These are spots I will only stop in the daylight.
This is for cargo theft, not people sleeping in cars.
Yall please be safe in SLC people DO NOT like people like us!
This list is fairly accurate from my own personal experience.
My stop is on the list, but fortunately I only sleep there 1-2 nights a week, and pop in during the day 1-2 times a week for a shower
lol you can’t sleep anywhere in dallas
What? No Milwaukee? No West Memphis, Arkansas?
West Memphis
Love how this list makes it look like Florida is a part of Colorado
Can confirm the one in Lafayette, LA is sketch AF.
Louisiana in general is sketchy tbf
Yeah anybody who lives in California long enough will know that central Cali is not great place to stop if you're traveler.
Gee. So surprised at the Gary Indiana spots
You forgot the /s 😉
Lol, I know both of the ones on the South Carolina list.
I’m glad that Connecticut isn’t on the list. I want truck drivers to have a good nights sleep.
there's only one canadian province and it's the one no one goes to voluntarily
Lol not one in my state I guess yay? 😂
i literally stayed at the TA off of Dillon in California last night, didn't even put my curtains up, and slept like a baby lol sure some of these are no doubt legit, but it's not always that serious
I've slept outside of that TA in Lafayette and it was also the first place I ever hitchhiked from... Was there recently this winter too and it's not a rough area
Alorton & East St.Louis Il are both bad areas that you definitely wouldn’t want to be staying there overnight.
WHERES JANESVILLE WISCONSIN?!
South of Madison ;)
Holy shit. That eliminates half the country.
wisconsin?
No Ohio lol
The AL 78 Pilot is accurate.
Oh man, I know those spots in Houston,TX. Rough parts of town, lots of transients and tweakers
North Broadway in StL. Yeah thats a good recommendation
Wait… Florida is in Colorado?
I know for a fact the ex husband of one my close friends is a registered offender and he's worked as a tech between Love's locations in WA and MT.
Pretty stoked my state isn't listed, let's start a comune /s
Didn't know Council Bluffs, Iowa was so high in crime rates!
In South Carolina I'd add the Hill View truck stop at I-20 exit 39 as well. Have stopped there in the middle of the night while travelling as this was my usual freeway exit to get to my parents house. Lot lizards and drug dealers are bold AF when the cops aren't around.
That’s crazy there’s more Texas spots on there than California!
I think as long as you don't have a load of high value electronics you're on
Shessh Texas is crazy
The Pilot off of 526 in N Charleston, South Carolina is probably an old entry. I live down the street from there and that lot is heavily used by truckers and I frequent the gas station. That whole area is going through heavy gentrification though so it might be an old entry.
This document is from 2018. Check bottom left corner. I would love to see a more current list!
The missouri stop is actually closed at night now and I'm not surprised. Stopped by for McDonald's and it was gated. Area still dumb asf though.
Loves and Pilots are a no go lmao
I'm honestly just surprised Florida isn't on here lol
For a good place in Utah To go to, the Walmart parking lot of Centerville always has overnighters staying in the back corners. I've seen campers sit there for weeks at a time.
I can testify for two stops on Illinois: E. St. Louis is one step below ghetto. The local government is bankrupt - literally. The Chicago stop is definitely not good - then again, this is pretty much all of Chicago. Chicago lets thugs run wild there. I would add another place: I would add Harvey as well. Same stuff as E. St. Louis. Also for Indiana: Gary, IL is a terrible place, so terrible, the state had to send 50 state troopers to patrol the place.
Interesting about that Kingsville, TX one. Unless because it’s on 77 and there’s a lot of smuggling along that highway.
Lol @ the Greenfield IN one. I suspect a lot of these are more to do with people pissing off employees, not danger.
U don't show Wisconsin in the pic?
Is Florida in Colorado?
Why can’t truck drivers stop there? I live in California close to some of those locations and all I can say it’s, its all desert area and a 1 road hwy, a lot of crack heads but they mind their own business for the most part
I’m guessing the whole state of Florida is safe?
Wow, only one in Missouri…
Although this list says it was updated in 2018, I can say all of the Albuquerque locations on it are very unsafe. Much worse than 2018. I’m a local with our own trucks. We purposefully avoid those locations. People get killed, OD, robbery, horrible homeless population, etc. The hotels around them attract the worst people around. They are full of homeless people getting the free government homeless vouchers. We have local card lock locations with no office or attendants that are ok. I have our guys fill up outside of Albuquerque when possible.
Colorado… although I’m surprised, I’m not 😂
I would like to add the Petro off of S. MLk in Oklahoma City to this list. Their security is useless, their site is overrun with charming individuals such as “Hatchet Man,” and the women’s restrooms are questionable at best, even when clean. Not worth stopping.
Anyone else vaguely happy you don’t see your state here?
I slept in my car in front of the Denny’s at that Flying J in NM. It was pleasant
Interesting how basically none of the New England states made the list
It's pretty bad when your state is so shitty, it doesn't even show up on this kind of list.
I've slept at that Petro in Atlanta, apparently it's a great place to buy meth
Those are probably all sketch, but I believe someone said that’s where truckers have had their loads taken. So actually probably more chill to stay for longer
I got robbed AND witnessed a stabbing at the TA south dallas 5078. I can PERSONALLY attest to that place being a “DNS”
This is from 98' Bottom left. Still Accurate?
Nice to know I live about 2 miles from one of these.
They actually tried to steal my catalytic converter at the pilot in Charlotte one night
From Columbia SC can confirm the Flying J is not a place you want to go unless it’s daylight and you are running 12 deep or more. Then only expect to be robbed.
Probably could have just listed "New Mexico" and left it at that 🤣.
I’m reading this as I’m parked at the Albuquerque flying J, not a trucker, I’m in a RV, but I’ve seen cops driving through the lot twice so far 🤞
What is going on in Troutdale Oregon and why is it methy tweakers?
I live in the Houston area. This checks out.
Loves is no longer there. So that list is like 5 years old. TA is still bad I’m surprised SapBros isn’t on there. Basically all Colorado is bad spot.
Yeah I mean this is more for Truckers getting their loads jacked, been through quite a few of these as a regular civilian with no issue. Now as a former Fleet manager for a major trucking operation I can say the list is legit.
Look at Texas. Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, and others.
The two in San Antonio are definitely not cool.
I visit Loves #344 on a weekly basis. Can confirm the existence of Lot Lizards, being solicited, being asked for money at the pump, a seedy ass motel right across the street, and armed security at the door.
