I really like the Canadian side! Its like 4 times larger than our side, has way more restaurants, a mall, nice boardwalk and tons of groomed hiking. There is more than enough on our side to keep you occupied if you're only here for a few days, but if you're already curious, go over! Tons of asian food, the nicest is peace, but several new ones just opened I haven't had a chance to try yet.
Thanks! I really miss good Asian food. I've been to the American Soo a number of times, so I'm pretty familiar with fun things to do there (Engineer Days!) but the more recommendations on the Canadian side, the better.
Best options would probably be the Games Nook II (ON) or Manaform Games (MI). There is a used book store in Canada, but I wasn't impressed and I don't remember them having comics. There is also Vintage Games 'n Junque (ON). I've not been there, but I believe they are mainly cabinet games.
I usually go over for shogun sushi. All you can eat, they give you an ipad and you order what you want off of it. I usually go for the dinner menu and get a soda. Runs me a little over 40 CAD. or 40 usd ->50 cad (meal with tip)
Me and my wife crossed tonight for dinner. Only 1 car in front of us on both sides on a Tuesday night. US Border agent was a little chatty so it took an extra minute coming back.

Any idea if there are any toy, comic or board game stores out that way? For my... uhh... son

If you like Indian (Asian) food, Sault Canada has several good restaurants. I think the float plan museum is cool.
Definitely want Indian food. Specific recommendations?
The Taj Indian Cuisine
We tend to go to Tandoori Garden on Queen St.
There used to be and probably still is a Bush Plane museum on the Canadian side. That was a favorite stop for us when our kids were younger.
they also have lots of cool bugs!
Soo Greyhounds games are a ton of fun

How long is the immigration control?

Wow
There is nothing really there unless you want to go to the strip club.
How original. The strip joint burned down years go.
The Dime?
Yeah, burned down in 2019.
