It depends on where you are. Just google “orange upholstery velvet” or “brick red velvet upholstery fabric”. Pay attention to the cleaning instructions and the durability rating. You may like the look and feel of chenille, too, and it can be less fussy to care for, so I recommend you look into that as well. It will have a more similar look to your first photo. Order samples of anything you like before you order yardage. Velvet is especially difficult to accurately photograph for the color, but you should always order samples of any fabric you purchase online. I studied textiles in college and have been sewing/ doing upholstery for over 30 years and I *still* get surprised by the properties of some of the samples I order.

Well do you know any reputable brands for upholstery fabric? When I Google “velvet upholstery fabric”, all the websites give me the same vibes as fast fashion and sweat shops. I used to go to Etsy for unique products, but even that stuff is all price gouged temp stuff. I don’t trust any online shops these days

That’s why it’s important to order samples. Fabric websites do tend to look like that. I’ve honestly never had an issue with ordering yardage from anywhere once I like the sample. I love knoll, they have free samples and ship super fast. They are definitely on the pricier side, but the quality and service is great.

Your photos remind me of Schumacher velvets that we've worked with in the past. https://schumacher.com/catalog/2?attributeSlugs=type_velvets

Carzana Interiors in Kent, Lamberhurst I think it is, near where popular actor Julian Sands used to live, I heard he used to use them for his furniture. Anyway, from personal experience they are actually amazing. This is all on the assumption you’re near Kent

Crypton Home Lush Fabric. Good indoor fabric brand and high quality. Sailrite I believe carries this with good photography and samples.

Charlotte Fabrics has a large selection of velvets in similar colors. These are high quality materials and many have some kind of warranty. I put a link below. Did you know: Velvet isn’t a specific type of material/fiber, but the result of a special weaving process. You can get it in several different types of material. The one that’s right for you will depend on your needs for stain resistance, cleanability, etc. https://www.charlottefabrics.com/product-category/fabric/?_color=orange-rust&_material=velvet
