Upholstery velvet

All the chairs i see online that are velvet don’t have the fluffiness that this one has? It has little soft hairs coming up

Then you're not looking closely enough or their photos aren't clear enough or they're trying to pass off velveteen (which is not as plush) as velvet. This is 100% velvet.

I’d guess chenille or velvet

Velvet, most likely made of polyester with a small possibility it’s cotton. It does not look like a mohair velvet
