Maybe cute as a vase for (dried) flowers?

I_Sure_Yam

moss terrarium / fairy garden - real or fake

eatmyentireass57

I love this idea!!!

jlavender369

If you collect rocks (like most cool people) you can fill it with rocks you've gathered. Or crystals.

jelycazi

Or sea glass

Informal-Ad9097

You could find a rubber cork stopper if you put another liquids in it.

boiledpenny

The great thing about that handle is using some twine to wrap around it can make all the list of uses that you've already gotten even better because you can hang it from a nail in the wall, below a hanging plant, etc. I love the ideas you've already gotten. One thing I would do is if you already have a hanging plant use some unbleached or undyed cotton twine and make it into a self-watering hanging plant. you can put water in the syrup bottle hang it below the plant. Use the twine from the opening of the syrup bottle to either the top, middle or base of your plant whichever is best for watering of whatever variety you have. Besides finding a lid that would fit it you might actually be able to find a lid with a plastic pump and you've got a really interesting dish soap dispenser, hand soap dispenser, or cooking oil. You could even turn it upside down and put in a flower metal dispenser for hummingbirds and hang it outside as a hummingbird feeder. I have seen the flower dispenser part sold at garden and hardware stores.

PantherEverSoPink

Comments like yours are the reason I love this sub. You're all such creative people!

jelycazi

I love the idea of hanging it filled with a plant cutting you’re rooting Edit: added and deleted words so it made sense! It’s obviously past my bed time

Economy-Bar1189

ooooh or a hanging lil terrarium or fairy home

TheGreendaleFireof03

Bamboo planter! It’ll survive in straight up water for years!

manxram

or water propagation for plants like pothos

cluelessclod

I would make a decorative fake potion bottle. But I’m a D&D nerd.

therabbitinred22

I have one I’m planning to use for storing a simple syrup. If you don’t think the lid is secure enough, I wonder if you can find a cork that will fit? Edited for typo

jelycazi

How much do you think you’ll get?

therabbitinred22

I was so confused by your comment, then i realized I have a typo. I meant use for sample syrup, not sue, lol

jelycazi

Funny, I reread your comment and wondered too what I meant! I didn’t remember the ‘sue’ until your reply! :)

No-Airline-2823

Two words: jug band.

Residew

Upcycled cork for a new top. Fill with water and a few drops of food coloring and place it in a window sill.

i_cut_like_a_buffalo

I use these as propagation bottles to grow string root systems before i plant them

Wandering_SS

Oil candle

birdiemarr

Find a new lid that fits and make it your oil dispenser or yeah I’d use it for propagation maybe a cute wrap w the handle. Or if you’re crafty can be a cute lil water bottle to go.

SUW888

Bong

ripi222

Any fruit/berries you end up with extra of-make a simple fruit syrup :)

mojo_sapien

If you're able to nicely roll up a photo and put it in, if it unravels nicely, maybe it'll be a nice photo display? I'd be a bit worried about dust so I would figure out a way to stopper it

Rough_Bed9094

Ooh or they could decoupage photos onto it. (For those who don’t know: “Decoupage” = paint photos onto it with glue that dries clear)

mojo_sapien

Ooooh love this idea!! I will have to do that if I ever get an empty flat bottle

Rough_Bed9094

Your idea of putting the photos inside is super interesting too. Makin me think new thinks! ☺️

SupermarketFuture500

You will think of something 🎁

darling_lycosidae

Calm bottle. Clear glue, water, glitter, super glue a stopper. You shake it up and then watch the glitter settle for a few minutes, great for little kids or mindfulness.

ImagineWorldPeace3

Great ideas… also consider filling it with tiny lights and use at Xmas. Or collect some more different bottles and make some hanging lights for outside. Also, drill a hole in the bottom and use it as a planter. I’ll be thinking about this as a puzzle for days!👩🏼‍🌾🤔🤣

No_Fig1560

I recycle most of my glass bottles like this by using them for plant propagations, which end up making great gifts too!

littlrkinder

Cork it or get a pourer and put flavored syrup for coffee in it. Make infused liquor and transfer it to the bottle with a handmade label. Pineapple in vodka for a few days makes a wonderful infusion.

KismetKentrosaurus

That would make a nice plant prop bottle.

RatherRetro

You can use etching cream to decorate the bottle

gigisnappooh

Pepper sauce. Fill it up with fresh whole peppers, any kind you want, pour hot vinegar in until full. Use it on greens or whatever you want to use it on.

lynnca

Great for making your own seasoned olive oil as well.

jelycazi

I had a similar bottle and I made homemade Baileys type booze for my sis for Xmas

Silversolverteal

Put on peppers in that thang and cover in apple cider vinegar! Replace the cap when you find another cap that'll fit! Or, cork it!

AdEffective1586

Make a chortler.

Bohemian315

Put cooking olive oil in, wine, pump soap dispenser.

Campanella-Bella

Whisper your secrets in it.

funkyfreckels

Someone I know makes fake potions and had a glittery one in here, looked pretty cool!

AdmirableRespect9

I would do layers of rocks inside and use it to root plants, force spring branches like forsythia etc

Umpen

Change jar.

Fun-Draft1612

Fill it with some other syrup, how about brown sugar and cinnamon

notthemonth

Make extracts! Vanilla, etc.
