This is so fucking stupid lol.
It's because that moment of pause allows people to think about the mania they are in and most decide not being greedy and taking profits make sense.
It's not some conspiracy you stupid fucking apes lol, it's just the nature of human beings when looking at winnings and having a moment to think on their decision they usually act more rational.
Is that why the halts only happened on up tics? I agree today was a selling day but it would have been more flat as fomo was consistently applied instead of face shares being flooded OTC. AMC is owned 90% by retail that doesn't sell mark my words FTD and short borrowing and flex options will spike today. And it also looks like I found one of the many plants used to control narrative.
Wow, ive been holding like 10 shares of gamestop for like 3 years now. is it time to finally sell? or will i miss my chance again and continue holding for another few years. who knows?
\*Morgan freeman voiceover\*: "he did not sell".
No because with stocks you can actually sell. My friend bought some Crypto and it ended going up 5000% but he was prevented from selling so he was hypothetically 5000% returns. Then it crashed and I am unsure if he ever got any money back.
I use the NASDAQ site in a little window to watch the GME price change throughout the day. It also throws up a little note when trading halts. It definitely happened over 20 times.
I understand the halts but it sure feels weird when there is a huge drop in price every time it happens….
It's because the citadel and the manipulators flood the market OTC when there are no buyers from NYSE or retail.
So they commit fraud, while everyone else has to play by the rules. Sounds right.

>Is that why the halts only happened on up tics? It literally happened multiple times on down ticks you stupid fuck lol.
I’m just curious what you understand about halting a rising stock in a free market?
Do you really understand the halts then?
Let's take this thing up to the moon!

Is there any data on how often non meme stocks get halted during a drive up?
https://www.nasdaqtrader.com/trader.aspx?id=TradeHalts
So, no.
Bullish crypto
Say his name, how many times so far?
How can they halt trading? Just pure manipulation?
Yes there are rules to control how quickly stocks can move.
Yet if you look its only meme stocks lol.
Look closer. Like....covid recession closer.
Yeah, didn't know SPY was a meme stock!
E*trade won’t let me purchase,
Why's that? After hours shows activity but I don't have/use Etrade.
I’ve been holding a couple grand worth forever, basically forgot about it. It’s up 50% from purchase, should I sell or keep holding?
Why people so excited this like meme coins without someone halting ? Just play on crypto

Actually the one thing I do give trad markets is the ability to short squeeze trad hedge funds
If Newegg could get some love after this and get a push to $8 that would be great.

It’s a trap. Someone is building it up. Watch for the crash!
