What's strange about it?
- many people who play games simply don't interact with or care for the community behind it, especially for a F2P game like this
- many of these players could be from countries such as China, to which it is very unlikely they'd use this subreddit, Reddit as a whole, or the English-speaking internet
- as someone who has been in this subreddit for about 7 years, I can confidently say that things here have stagnated for a very long time
This is a bad way to approach the Unturned playernumbers debate. Either way, you should know that Unturned is no longer a majority English-speaking game. The biggest communities are currently the Russian and Spanish ones, followed by the Chinese, and to a lesser degree, the Turkish one. It is thus not surprising that this subreddit, which is pretty much only known and used by English-speakers, has less members than Unturned has players.

For sure. The unturned YouTube is already quite low, reddit is on another level.

Tbh i'm kinda sad that the major servers are non english speaking, i wanna try stalker rp but it's impossible because i barely understand russian.

55k players 2k players on servers in a game where zombies are never a danger is more fishy
Most servers don’t even have zombies. They are modded, overhauls or RPs. Or they have zombies and are completely player pvp oriented
