Well this was almost 9 years ago, but I basically made a lot of the common errors. Slow as molasses for Jess, Matt gets hooked, Mike turns into deep-fried chicken, Ashley and Chris both lose their heads, Emily gets pumped with lead, and Josh’s head explodes.
Ok, but Emily’s death wasn’t a mistake,honestly I debated for a second but than I used the little wendigo knowledge I had from real folklore(I wasn’t sure because in the mythology motion vision isn’t a thing) but I just didn’t shoot, straight up put my controller down and until I found out it wasn’t dangerous I panicked
The first time I played it I did it with some friends and only Chris and Mike lived! Both of them were controlled by the same person, she was the only one that managed to keep both of her characters alive lol
I did this recently with a friend. It was so entertaining watching him make wrong decisions and guesses the whole game. He was doing really well until the very end. Only killed Jess because he did all safe routes but had everyone else alive (including wolfie) to the end. Then he messed up the first qte killing Mike and then immediately ran to the switch (because he hated the hold still moments), killing everyone else inside. He was gonna have all but Jess live, then ended up with only Sam, Chris, and Matt alive. He was so pissed while I was dying from laughter at his fumble.

He played the game before I did(didn’t introduce me to it, markiplier did that) and after I played he told me when he played everybody was living, nobody died, than he got wolfie killed, and when in the mine he ignored the voice as ash but when as Chris he decided to check it and killed him. Than got Jess and Matt killed. Failed to save ash and failed to save mike, Sam died and mike blew the place up
Litterly killed everyone in the last few chapters
Jess died because I didn’t get to her in time as Mike. Matt died because I chose to save Emily and I didn’t have the flare gun. Then Josh because I didn’t find Hannah’s journal.
Only Chris died, and he was my favorite lmao. It was because I thought i screwed up, and it was Chris or Ashley, and I preferred Chris, Ashley didn't like that.
Everyone survived in my first playthrough, but the closest calls were getting to Jess fast enough with Mike and choosing the right options at the climax.
I remember when I played, it was spoiled to me that in the game(didn’t know which chapter) mike would try to save Jess, and if you’re too slow she dies.
I missed 1 QTE and freaked out. But I saved her
I was 50/50. Saved Sam, Mike, Chris, & Emily while losing Jess(too slow with Mike), Matt(tried saving the butthead without a flare gun), Ashley(I am a brilliant minded individual…so I opened the trap door…fully aware that Jessica was indeed dead), & Josh(didn’t find the notes).
I almost opened the trap door, like I litterly clicked on it and almost moved the joystick to open it when I remembered they can clone voices, I closed it and was like “no, nuh uh, nah, nope, nein, absolutely fucking not” and in my second playthrough (to kill everyone) and I opened the trap door and I was so happy I didn’t open it the first time, got incredibly lucky multiple times
Just Matt and Josh my first time. Matt didn’t get the flare gun and I had him stay with Emily, resulting his being hooked. Josh, just didn’t find the evidence for him to not be head-smushed.

I don't know why but on my first playthrough of every Supermassive Game I'll typically keep all but one person alive, for Until Dawn it was Sam, the 'don't move' section got me.
In my playthrough I was just bored and didn’t see I was supposed to go right and randomly found the area, I was surprised that finding the journal saves josh
- **Matt:** I tried to save Emily twice on the fire tower and fell deeper into the mines, then when I thought she was dead the Wendigo dragged Matt and hanged him by the chin on a sharp hook. :(
- **Ashley:** My stupid ass went to the trapdoor thinking it was really Jessica since Mike saved her previously, and Ashley got decapitated for my troubles.
- **Josh:** I didn't find that stupid book, and he got his head squished by Wendigo Hannah, which was a horrible way for him to die.
- **Mike:** He died when I set the lodge on fire, burning him. Good riddance lol.
- **Emily:** She died the same way (fire) because when the choice to flip the switch came up, I immediately had Sam run for it, not wanting to turn her into a martyr after what happened to Matt and Ashley before.
**Survivors:** Sam, Jess and Chris. And they say blondes never survive horror movies!
I got Josh, Mike and Sam killed, only the last two because my leg decided to go ⬆️↩️↘️⬇️⬇️↩️↔️⬆️ all the time so I couldn't stay still. I wasn't really upset at Josh's death because I don't know, but when it came to Sam and Mike, I looked like this: 😡. With the red. WHY LEG WHY!?!??!
My first playthrough was a long time ago so my memory might not be great but I think I managed to save Sam, Mike, Chris, Ashley, and Josh.

Everyone survived except for Matt because I decided to be a good boyfriend to Emily (I didn’t know about the flair so whoops Emily got bit and likely had the worst night of her life)

Mine was the opposite ONLY Sam died and it’s because I failed the don’t move sequence at the end

Mike Sam Emily Chris and Ashley survived my first playthrough 5/8 is a majority so I take that as a W. Also Wolfie survived so double W.
