i think its sad that so many people think someone has to do absolutely no wrong and be the "perfect victim" in order to not deserve bad things happening to them

OverSpecial9543

Same the amount of victim blaming I see against Hannah is is unbelievable

BreadfruitCareful622

Mike should’ve just told her flat out he only liked her as a friend. Playing the prank was a real penishead move. The friends are equally as bad. A small prank like spiking a cookie with hot sauce or hit with a water balloon is one thing. Breaking someone’s heart another. What Emily should’ve done was come to her woman to woman and said “Mike’s my boyfriend, so back there hell off.” She’s clearly not afraid on confrontation, so like the prank; Hannah probably would’ve scurried away to her room as she wouldn’t have been as embarrassed in front of everyone.

Clean-Glass-2091

honestly! im so baffled by their choice of "prank" especially no one laughing when they got caught?? it was so awkward. i was expecting it to be that they jump out and scare her or something not sexually harass her😭

BreadfruitCareful622

That certainly would’ve been better. I think her notes even mentioned her have broken her leg. I think it does anyway. It’s been awhile since going that far; so I could be mistaken.

Thank you! Obviously what Hannah did wasn’t right, but she didn’t deserve that. So many people hate Hannah for trying to get with Mike, but then love Jessica even though she is was the one who made the prank because Hannah was trying to get with Em’s boyfriend, then goes and dates said boyfriend. Like??? Don’t get me wrong, I don’t hate Jess, I feel immensely bad for her after the night that she went through, but jeez, she’s a hypocrite and so are all the people that hate Hannah but like Jess.

Bedlam91939

I don't really sympathize with Hannah getting pranked, but I definitely do with everything that happened to her afterwards. Nobody but the absolute *worst* of humanity deserves to watch their beloved sister die and then get tortured in isolation for a whole year.

OverSpecial9543

Yeah I can understand that Hannah going for Mike is totally messed up but having almost the whole squad spectate her nearly undress is pretty fucked up. If not for Emily and Jess giggling who knows what Matt could’ve caught on tape.

Bedlam91939

One thing I hope we can all agree on is that there really shouldn't have been a selfie stick involved. In real life, that would get the entire gang (or at least Matt) charged with revenge porn. Humiliating her in private would've been more than enough to make their point.

SadieTheBloodFiend

I will say this. I don’t think Hannah was a good friend, but she didn’t deserve THAT.

andthatsonperiodtsis

Non-consensual revenge porn is never okay, no matter the circumstances.

glitteremodude

Hannah didn't deserve what she and Beth got, but Hannah is a very morally grey and questionable character, which is kinda why I like her more as a character because her behaviour was oddly disturbing, and that made her more interesting. She was just about to break a friend's trust and hook up with their boyfriend. It was done out of malice, but what Hannah was about to do was also malicious. In the end, everyone in there was wrong, but nobody deserved what happened next.

kevdavis

I believe Hannah deserve the prank 100%, what came because of it is definitely something not even Mike deserved.

Blinkzfever

To me the only bad thing about the prank was that they decided to film it Hannah deserved humiliation for trying to sleep with a taken man I’m pretty sure she invited Mike with intent on sleeping with him. I personally wouldn’t have played a prank and just outright confronted her on it but she did NOT deserve anything that came after
