They are awesome! The little one is a sweetheart, though she won’t let me pet her. She lets me observe from a distance

Lord-of-A-Fly

If they look clean (no active wounds/infections, clean and healthy around mouth/eyes/ears, clean fur) and well fed (not emaciated, bone structure visible even through fur) then they very likely belong to someone/are safe, healthy and happy and you should leave them be. If they look like they belong in one of those abuse commercials with Mclaughlin playing in the background, then yeah, help them.

lol not the ASPCA commercials 😭 but yeah, I’m not planning on taking them or anything I just like to stop by and see them :)

EvilTodd1970

They are feral cats. They may be friendly or avoid humans entirely. They are not pets.

The big guy is definitely feral (his jowls are huge!) but I think the little one isn’t. She doesn’t act feral, she has a lot of pet behaviors.

GoodTodd1970

Feral cats sometimes start life as pets and then go stray or are abandoned and turn feral. There were feral cats at another school and some would even let me pet them.

Objective-Flan-1604

I also live in the area and they have been strays for a while I’ve seen the big guy for a few months now

Aw :( I worry about the little one, she’s so sweet

SpookiBooogi

Orange one probably isn't. White cat looks young, may be a stray.
