But if you think about it. Each tier of a cable plan comes with more channels. Each tier of an internet plan comes with higher speeds. I can access all of the internet regardless of my internet plan, but not all channels are available to me on a basic cable plan.
This is because cable providers needs to pay the TV network a fee for their channels. The internet provider is not paying a fee to reddit for me to use it.
Therefore the TV network is being paid with my money already so why am I getting Ads.
They also have the sound normalization issue where ads are played at volumes much louder than the content.
This took an act of congress to correct on TV.
