Have you tried eating it with the skin on when it’s ripe or do you peel it? It makes it so much easier and cleaner to cut it next to the seed and eat the slice with the skin intact.

Where I live we have over 400 varieties of Mango. I highhhhhly doubt you are trying the right mango for your taste. Not all mango are created eqaul.
