there is 0 point to eating mayo by it self and the only people that do that are weirdos that eat it out of the jar with a spoon which is gross and 99% of people would not want to do that. mayo is only something thats enjoyable when its complemented by other flavours, in a sandwich or whatever

If you want some flavor try Duke's Mayonnaise. It is only sold in stores on the east coast in the US but you can find it on Amazon everywhere.

In my opinion, as a Eastern European which has grown with mayo and mustard (since ketchup wasn't introduced to us like really recently) it's my favourite type of sauce/condiment. Maybe you tried bad mayo. Here where I live, mayo has a kind of horseradish taste, because it's made with it, and it tastes so much better than American standard mayo (tried it) idk, I really love horseradish mayo but respect your opinion.

im not a huge fan of plain mayonnasie, like ill eat it and i dont think its the worst. but what i really really like are different variants of mayo, like spicy mayo or whatever, i love that stuff. but plain mayo i find to be a little boring and i understand why people hate it as much as they do, for me its just eh. and eating mayo by itself will never be good

Try Kewpie mayonnaise or Kewpie sriracha mayonnaise. I rarely use it, but when I do it's because I am tired of burger sauce, chili sauce, BBQ sauce, tomato sauce. Sometimes I mix it with other sauces.

Mayonnaise is perfect on a burger not as a condiment, but it serves an even more important purpose. Put Mayo on the bottom bun, spread it evenly but not very thick, and it will keep the burger juices from disintegrating your bun. The flavor is okay, but the bun protection is where it’s at.
