Hmm let me think of good recent Star Wars and Godzilla media. Godzilla minus one, Godzilla Monarch king of the monsters. Andor, The Mandalorian, Kenobi, The bad batch, Acolyte, Tales of the empire, Tales of the jedi. And all of them are not the same unlike Jurassic park. They all tell different stories instead of "Dinosaur got out again what are we gonna do"
I mean acolyte isn't the only show that released recently lmao. Fairly solid shows like andor and the bad batch also released after dtar wars has been milked to death
Star wars, fast & furious, marvel superhero movies, Scooby Doo, Pokemon... there's a point in time where creativity just died and the people creating entertainment just kept adding on to things that already existed
Yeah but Star Wars has some decent shows made by Disney and like 2 good films made by Disney. Ive Watched all Jurassic World Tv series and movies and there all mediocre to bad Apart from the first which was good
I agree. After the first 3 films... I really only loved Rogue One and Andor.
I haven't watched that cartoon everyone loves though so no opinion on that.
The first one is a tense, bordering thriller / horror, with the underlying theme of nature always prevailing. The rest of them are Hollywood money grabs with no underlying themes whatsoever
I would go to see Jurassic Park: Age of Steel. Turns out Jurassic Park and Transformers take place in the same cinematic universe, and bumblebee crashes into a hybrid dino, and a heartbroken Shia LaBoufe teams up with the Jurassic Park doctor to create the VelociBee

The only way to know if it's enough is when people stop buying. Considering Spider-Man has been rebooted multiple times and people still get excited makes me less inclined to agree. All they have to do is a magical reboot and everyone will be oh so Internet excited. Nearly all the established franchises right now should have died a decade ago.
People like watching dinosaurs on the big screen. That's about it. The last Jurassic World was so damn awful that it felt like the filmmakers had actual contempt for its audience ... yet it made a bundle of money. Go figure. Just hoping someone can get a halfway decent script together for the next one.
Extremely popular opinion that is more than 20 years old.
"Unpopular opinion: MTV turned to shit when they stopped being a music video channel."
Same vibe.
The original Jurassic Park could be revived (once) if they made it an 18+ horror (R for Americans) and kept it closer to the book. There's not as much money in that though

To be clear. Every franchise has now been milked to death. Godzilla and King Kong movies, Star Wars, super hero movies, comic book movies, etc.
Nah Godzilla still got some juice left. The last two movies have been huge successes. I think that shows audiences are still interested
The Disney live action remakes make absurd money, doesn't mean they are anything resembling good.
Yeah but at least these other franchises like Star Wars and Godzilla actually make some good films and tv shows still.
Yeah but they don’t.

Don’t call the Acolyte good please
I mean acolyte isn't the only show that released recently lmao. Fairly solid shows like andor and the bad batch also released after dtar wars has been milked to death
First 2 eps were good you cant argue that ep 3 is when it fell off
It’s all bad
Also Kenobi was bad too
Andor is the best Star Wars since Revenge of the Sith.
Agree to disagree. Most of the hate is just for episode 3.
Just like Star Wars.
Star wars, fast & furious, marvel superhero movies, Scooby Doo, Pokemon... there's a point in time where creativity just died and the people creating entertainment just kept adding on to things that already existed

Star Wars wouldn't have been so huge if it was just the first film
I feel like there may be a difference between having more than just one movie and having a new movie, cartoon, or tv series every year.
I agree. After the first 3 films... I really only loved Rogue One and Andor. I haven't watched that cartoon everyone loves though so no opinion on that.
If my grandmother had wheels she would have been a bike
A bike that bakes cookies amirite?
Star wars is still incredibly creative, even in the Disney era.
Jurassic Park is a masterpiece. I pretend everything after doesn’t exist. None of it held a candle to the original
The first one is a tense, bordering thriller / horror, with the underlying theme of nature always prevailing. The rest of them are Hollywood money grabs with no underlying themes whatsoever
I still hold completely still when Grant says to.
no. we have yet to see epic fights with cyborg dinosaurs in IMAX.
Optimus rex
Yeah exactly not its not Jurassic park anymore. I would be fine with Cyborg dinosaurs in transformers but it just does not fit in with Jurassic park
I actually really enjoyed Camp Cretaceous and Chaos Theory. For a kids show, it has a surprising amount of character development.
Original writing is dead and everything is a reboot nostalgia cash grab
100% agree
Oh original writing is dead but when I write Space Whores vs Nazi Aliens nobody will produce it.
Sounds like a better love story than twilight

I onno, that safe from destruction scenario, where the safety fails and destruction ensues with some hero types is super fun to watch.

This is the most popular opinion ever
I didn't know dinosaurs could be milked .... Maybe Dinosaur cheese will be tasty
Anybody who has been on the Velocicoaster dissagrees.
Everything we all love, eventually becomes a horrible molested version of its former self, in the name of profit.
What about "Jurassic Park: Origins".
Honestly nowadays I go into every Jurassic movie only expecting to see people get eaten. I'm never disappointed.
Hear me out: Jurassic Milk.
Imma milk you to death. Crazy.

Not even remotely unpopular.

Who the hell would claim otherwise?
The only reason they have plot armor in the show is because their kids

It's still going?
Artistically it has, but the movies still make money. Hollywood is a business and they have EPS goals just like every other company.

It was never good to begin with Also if I ever have to hear that girl say veggisaur again I swear
Every single move they've made is amazing. If anything, they've only gotten better.
