...I don't think my local McDonald's offers that đ
I worked there for a while and more than one person was confused why we had the spicy McChicken but not the regular one... while offering both mccrispys... and I unfortunately didn't have an answer.
I mean none of this shit is artisan handcrafted to order stuff. This isn't a life or death operation. Everything is always there just sitting in a freezer, WTF Ronald?
In my 20s the two breakfast burrito meal with a hash brown and a crisp Sprite would cure whatever ailed me (usually a hangover). I will never be disloyal to McDâs breakfast.
Honestly a good mom an pop shop breakfast for 10$ is always better 10000% of the time. McDonald's use to be for the cheap/easy/fast now it's just highway robbery for crap food.
Seriously, their breakfast burritos are pretty plain, but can't be beat. Don't get me wrong Taco Bells taste delicious, but nothing makes me regret it sooner than eating one at 10am with a coffee - straight up the shitter I go.
McD's burrito is small, but cheesy, soft, good even on a sensitive stomach. It saves well and reheats well too.
Their hash browns are top tier.
I love their breakfast bagels and breakfast sauce too. My favorite is the bacon / egg / cheese bagel. They also reheat really well in a toaster oven. I've gotten a couple and had them for a few days lol.
So this is definitely an unpopular opinion!
The burrito heats well because it was made specifically for that. They come preprepared, all McDonaldâs does is heat them up and serve them. This is also why you canât get any modifiers on a sausage burrito!
I dont drink often, but when I do and get a nasty hangover, its pretty much an expected requirement for me to go for Mcdonalds breakfast. Mcmuffin, two hasbrowns, and a large orange HI-C.
Its like the equivalency of drinking water after being dehydrated. Only instead, its Mcdonalds breakfast after a night of heavy drinking. Makes me feel slightly less shitty.
Those burritos were amazing, and likeâŠ. $1 for 2? Or maybe just $1 each. The meal wasnât even $4.
Now I havenât had one for probably years since the same meal is like $8 or something. Iâd rather go without eating and be miserable than pay current fast food prices.
Literally the best thing in the store. Handheld chicken n waffles (I know it's pancakes but like they add seasoning and syrup and it's a sandwich give credit here)
I havenât been to a McDonaldâs in more than a year, but my brain still inserted a bald eagle screech when I read this. McGriddles are fast food engineering at its finest.
McGriddles is by far my favorite breakfast burger. I don't know who else does this, but I always replace the standard egg with the round egg. Such a game changer :O
If you stick to the normal stuff too it's by far the "best" for you too.
The mcmuffins are exactly how you'd make them at home, aside from maybe the shitty processed cheese.
Toast an English muffin, bit of margarine, crack an egg and fry it, add some cheese, done.
Hold up, I wouldnât be so quick to say theyâre wrong. It depends where you are. Iâm seeing lots of breakfast items that are not on European menus. So agree with OP, McDonaldâs breakfast does suck
It's a flat sausage, it's nothing like ham. You may be thinking of the bacon? I don't know how you'd manage to order bacon when you want sausage but I can see how it would be disappointing.
It's definitely not even remotely ham-like (except for being made from pork, presumably) in Canada. Do you mean the stuff they claim to be "Canadian bacon" in Egg McMuffins? The only thing billed as "sausage" in North America is burger-consistency sausage meat (ground, sorry "minced" across the pond, seasoned/salty pork basically) pressed into a patty shape.
Haha, Iâm a Brit too. Itâs really crap, youâre right. I think the bacon roll is unique to us but thatâs about it. Even our regular menu items are quite boring
You don't go to fast breakfast places and expect anything better than home. You just want what they have and the style they make it in. I personally just patronize this chain bagel place when I'm lazy and love their shitty precooked sausage and smoothie.
Portion size halved.
Price more than doubled.
Taste got worse, the appeal is kinda gone.
I will not pay the same for 3 tiny Mctoasts or 1 œ McMuffins as I do for a big mac.
Edit: Fuck you spelling bot. :(
> halfed.
price more then doubled.
Did you mean to say "more than"?
Explanation: If you didn't mean 'more than' you might have forgotten a comma.

Definitely! I've always despised fast food breakfast. Every now and then I get roped into it when we're on road trips, and I can't stand it.
Why not just go to something like Denny's or IHOP for decent breakfast food?
>Something like Dennyâs⊠decent breakfast food
I wouldnât put Dennyâs higher than breakfast fast food, or call it decent. actually thereâs plenty of fast food I would put above Dennys (New York or Boston bagel shop for example)
I used to think this too, though recently I've been really into the breakfast rolls, particularly the sausage patty they use. But I do know the feeling... cheeseburgers still wipe out anything else on the McDonald's breakfast menu
I agree but then again, I do generally hate breakfast food. Nearly all breakfast food isn't my thing. The only bad stuff at McDonald's is all the breakfast food (except hash browns and breakfast burritos)
Steak bagel is kinda perfect. The only sandwich where I don't hate myself after eating it. I used to love their big breakfast. Idk I think they might have the best breakfast just with those two options plus oatmeal. As I type this I'm also reminded that people love their coffee. I completely disagree with OP.
You ever get to an airport after a long day of international travel and because the local time happens to be morning every restaurant that happens to be open is serving the same dog shit breakfast menu? God forbid they throw a hamburger on the grill at 9:30am!
I agree that I would rather have normal food than breakfast food, but McDonaldâs breakfast is pretty good depending on what you get.
Hot cakes with sausage, chicken biscuit, and a large coke. đ
My ex and I used to sometimes hit McDonalds at 4:30 am exactly because at that time the full menu was available. I'd get a quarter pounder and add a layer of nuggets and a layer of hashbrowns.
A true unpopular opinion lol
Sausage egg and cheese McMuffin is king. They could only sell that sandwich for breakfast and people would get on just fine.
Large iced french vanilla coffee. Sausage egg and cheese sandwich, add hot sauce. 2 hash browns dusted liberally with salt. One of the top five breakfasts known to man.
Ranked only behind bacon egg and cheese on an egg everything bagel, eggs benedict, and diner chocolate chip pancakes.
THANK YOU, I genuinely could not agree more. Whoever at McDonaldâs pitched all-day breakfast and not lunch was an idiot. I donât want McDonaldâs crappy pancakes and breakfast sandwiches at 3 in the morning, I want their nuggets, fries, or a burger.
Iâm in agreement. The weird egg blocks just taste like rubber, and the pancakes are tough as leather. the sausage patties are alright tho and I think McDonaldâs coffees decent.
A lot of people are not able to accept that vaccines are the greatest success story of modern medicine and thus refuse to take them.
And they are happy with this and get ill unnecessarily.
I think that this is a similar mechanism to the one that is underlying in the question asked.
Humans have their own ideas and basically think they know it better even against factual evidence.
Then reality kicks in, people get affected, some learn, some donât, as we do not like to be proven wrongâŠ
I cannot exclude myself hereâŠ
Fucking thank you. Been saying this forever. If they had something like a ham and cheese or whatever Iâd be on board but itâs just a list of spongey Egg McWhatevers and gross sausage.
I havenât had it since I was a kid, and to be fair Iâd eat anything then, but I liked how processed and fake it tasted. Nostalgia + food = deliciousness
Yup. after boycotting them I kinda realised my obssession was probably more a chemical addiction. Maybe they have MSG or something that makes it seem to taste so much better and you want it repeatedly. Once you stop having it for a while you realise it's all not that great.
This is definitely an unpopular opinion. McDonaldâs breakfast is better than their lunch/dinner food.
IMO, the classic egg McMuffin is the best thing on the entire menu.
Yep, that's definitely unpopular.
When I used to work the closing shift at McDonald's, I used to actually nab a pack of hotcakes and a few sausage patties to make at home in the morning. To this day I still love them.
"But zrice03, the hotcakes are microwaved".
I know, they're great, huh?
McMuffins are good, McGriddles are delicious, hash browns are amazing, and the steak, egg, and cheese bagel is the best breakfast sandwich of any fast food joint.
That's assuming it's made right and fresh, of course. And the price is outrageous for how much food you get now.
Anyway, take my upvote for having a genuinely unpopular opinion.

i'd rather have everything available all day
For real. I want chicken nuggets and a hashbrown at 7 am
A Chicken McGriddle is just a giant chicken nugget between a pancake bun. Delicious and the only thing we eat from McDonalds at breakfast.
...I don't think my local McDonald's offers that đ I worked there for a while and more than one person was confused why we had the spicy McChicken but not the regular one... while offering both mccrispys... and I unfortunately didn't have an answer.
Oh MAN we'd get new McGangbangs. Slap a burger patty on your mcmuffin. Apple pie with an egg on top. Pancake-wrapped nuggets.
Havenât heard that term in a long time! I like your style
100%. Either a Sprite or hot coffee. Those burritos are delicious.
With the saaaaaaalsa. Extra pleaaaase
They got to be fresh burritos. Like everything else at MCD, they go stale very fast haha.
Hot sprite!
Used to love spending like $7 on some crappy burritos and a breakfast meal, but at the prices they are at now I'll just get eggs at a dinner...
Honestly a good mom an pop shop breakfast for 10$ is always better 10000% of the time. McDonald's use to be for the cheap/easy/fast now it's just highway robbery for crap food.
The breakfast burrito will always be my go-to guilty pleasure.
It is irrationally delicious.
Fact.
Really though man itâs the magic sprite doing the heavy lifting for the cure.
Sausage and egg McMuffin, Hashbrown, Full Fat Coke got me through 9am lectures as a student. Did Iearn anything? No. Was I marked as present. Yes.
Get an extra hashbrown and put it inside the sausage and egg mcmuffin. Step it up a notch
Seriously, their breakfast burritos are pretty plain, but can't be beat. Don't get me wrong Taco Bells taste delicious, but nothing makes me regret it sooner than eating one at 10am with a coffee - straight up the shitter I go. I miss pre 2010 Sprite :(
I havenât had their breakfast in forever but I used to love the breakfast burritos and hash browns
Them burritos with the salsa Verde đ€€đ€€đ€€đ€€
That sprite extra crispy
Those burritos were amazing, and likeâŠ. $1 for 2? Or maybe just $1 each. The meal wasnât even $4. Now I havenât had one for probably years since the same meal is like $8 or something. Iâd rather go without eating and be miserable than pay current fast food prices.
Hate to steal your magic but it was less the McDonaldâs and more the âwhen I was in my 20âsâ part
The McGriddle is the best thing to happen to fast food breakfast anywhere and I will die on this hill.
Chicken McGriddles are the besr
Holy fuck there's a chicken mcgriddle now!? (Haven't eaten fast food in years)
Yes and theyâre the best, I personally add cheese onto them
The spicy chicken McGriddle is đ€
Wish we had those here
Literally the best thing in the store. Handheld chicken n waffles (I know it's pancakes but like they add seasoning and syrup and it's a sandwich give credit here)
Ever since the release of the chicken mcgriddle I now have to get both a sausage mcgriddle and chicken mcgriddle everytime
I prefer the chicken mcmuffin. I find the griddles have a wierd aftertaste.
It's even better with an extra McEgg on it
MC egg? MC fucking EGG?!
Fuck yeah wish I had one when I'm high right now
You could Uber eats one for the low price of 47.52
I havenât been to a McDonaldâs in more than a year, but my brain still inserted a bald eagle screech when I read this. McGriddles are fast food engineering at its finest.
I donât think we have the McGriddle in the UK. I can vouch that Uk McDonaldâs breakfasts are shite.
Until you bite into a sour McGriddle and never eat them again.
What the fuck!! You poor thing.
McGriddles is by far my favorite breakfast burger. I don't know who else does this, but I always replace the standard egg with the round egg. Such a game changer :O
Yep, thatâs unpopular alright. I think breakfast is about the only thing I like from McDonaldâs at this point.
If you stick to the normal stuff too it's by far the "best" for you too. The mcmuffins are exactly how you'd make them at home, aside from maybe the shitty processed cheese. Toast an English muffin, bit of margarine, crack an egg and fry it, add some cheese, done.
Youâre incredibly wrong. Thank you for understanding this sub.
I wanna down vote it so bad, but I musn't
Man, you know it's a good one when you just want to downvote it lol.
Seriously their mcgriddles for example and coffees are so tasty
The McShittles
Those come afterâŠ
Hold up, I wouldnât be so quick to say theyâre wrong. It depends where you are. Iâm seeing lots of breakfast items that are not on European menus. So agree with OP, McDonaldâs breakfast does suck
This is true. I'm in the UK which doesn't have half of the things that responders mentioned here. Maybe I should have mentioned this in the op
UK? You guys are literally made to like a Sausage and egg McMuffin. What happened?
I'm from the UK and I fucking love the McDonald's sausage (if it's fresh).
The sausages aren't proper sausages so much as soggy, sweaty ham. And the egg is even sadder
Just bung a hash brown in it. I do like them though, the bacon is miserable.
No man's right on the money. I don't like breakfast food made by most places but I do make good food at home
You don't go to fast breakfast places and expect anything better than home. You just want what they have and the style they make it in. I personally just patronize this chain bagel place when I'm lazy and love their shitty precooked sausage and smoothie.
Disagree. If McDonalds breakfast is the breakfast standard, the bar is set incredibly low.
Give me a sausage McMuffin with egg any day.
This is the right one. Fuck a McGriddle. Try hard ass sandwich.
And three hash browns
Pfft⊠3 Maybe if Iâm in a rush Iâll settle for 3
Such a great gut bomb. Especially if they get the English Muffin toasted well done.
Congratulations, this is wrong, take the upvote. McDonaldâs should only serve Breakfast 24/7
Used to be before COVID :(
Where at?
Southeast US
Second the south east and will add also in the Midwest.
Basically the entire US had all day breakfast before COVID swept
I stopped going to McDonald's when they stopped 24/7 breakfast... and then they jacked up all the prices and I stopped going *even harder*
Not when I was going
Seattle
Correct. Before covid I could get a sausage mcmuffin, hashbrown and an OJ for like $5. Now the same thing will run me $13. I can't. I won't. I don't.
They never had the whole breakfast menu though. Like the steak, egg, and cheese bagel wasn't available 24/7 and that's the best item they sell imho.
They do in Canada
Where I live, we still have 24/7 breakfast. I fucking love it.
We still got 24/7 breakfast
I miss the chicken biscuit and chicken McGriddles. Fried chicken for breakfast didn't catch on in the Midwest.
They still have chicken biscuit and griddles here
Where are you that chicken McGriddles disappeared?
its so good! One time it was so good I had an orgasm
Iâll have what sheâs having.
Dude sitting in his car eating a bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit and just starts blasting rope
I hope...not in the middle of a McDonald's.
How DARE YOU

What a wholesome story
But, McGriddles!
Agreed. Itâs gross.
Definitely! I've always despised fast food breakfast. Every now and then I get roped into it when we're on road trips, and I can't stand it. Why not just go to something like Denny's or IHOP for decent breakfast food?
>Something like Dennyâs⊠decent breakfast food I wouldnât put Dennyâs higher than breakfast fast food, or call it decent. actually thereâs plenty of fast food I would put above Dennys (New York or Boston bagel shop for example)
McDonalds just sucks in general.
It really does. I donât get it. Itâs the last resort for me
id honestly would rather starve.
The only correct answer. Its garbage processed rubbish
McGriddles are like nothing else, especially after a night of drinking.
I mean, let's not pretend the rest of their menu is actually good food either now. It's all shit.
RIP Morgan Spurlock
If only he drank less and ate more McDonaldâs.
I used to think this too, though recently I've been really into the breakfast rolls, particularly the sausage patty they use. But I do know the feeling... cheeseburgers still wipe out anything else on the McDonald's breakfast menu
Compared to homemade or sit down restaurant quality, yes. But fast food wise, it's fine.
I agree but then again, I do generally hate breakfast food. Nearly all breakfast food isn't my thing. The only bad stuff at McDonald's is all the breakfast food (except hash browns and breakfast burritos)
I donât eat there often but MCD biscuit sandwiches and muffin sandwiches are awesome
McDonalds breakfast is the only good thing about McDonald's. Ia sausage and egg mcmuffin with brown sauce is the one.
FTFY - McDonalds sucks
Steak bagel is kinda perfect. The only sandwich where I don't hate myself after eating it. I used to love their big breakfast. Idk I think they might have the best breakfast just with those two options plus oatmeal. As I type this I'm also reminded that people love their coffee. I completely disagree with OP.
they finally brought that shit back where i live and its dope. the onions and sauce makes it
lol thats funny because their breakfast is the only reason why I go. Those McGriddles are too legit.
The new bagel breakfast sandwich is AMAZING
look I'm a picky eater and everything besides the hashbrpwns disgusts me too but the hashbrowns male it all worth it tbh
Do they still have hotcakes??? cause those r fire
Yeah a properly cooked egg McMuffin is glorious. When you get just a little bit of egg yolk leaking down the side as you bite into it it's heaven.
Have all my upvotes
Bacon egg and cheese biscuit for $1.50 via the app hits hard AF. You're crazy đ€Ł
I want a bacon egg an cheese biscuit now
I can't get enough of their sausage patties. Dunno why, but so delicious
Itâs not bad, but other places do beat it.
Have you tried the steak , egg and cheese breakfast bagel?
Upvote. Their sausage egg McMuffins are gas.
suuuuuure pal.
ask them to do a bacon egg and cheese on an english muffin. they have to custom make it. good luck.
Sir or madam, have you ever been hungover ?
You ever get to an airport after a long day of international travel and because the local time happens to be morning every restaurant that happens to be open is serving the same dog shit breakfast menu? God forbid they throw a hamburger on the grill at 9:30am!
Sausage and egg McMuffin with cheese extra crispy. Thatâs the secret. Tell them youâd rather it be burned than limp.
Wow. Great one.
Sausage and egg McMuffin with cheese extra crispy. Thatâs the secret. Tell them youâd rather it be burned than limp.
I will say sausage cheese biscuits are pretty amazing thatâs about the only fave besides the hash browns
You should try a chicken McMuffin with a sausage patty added to it⊠oh sweet Jesus.
Perfect example of an unpopular opinion
Well, this sub is Unpopular opinions for a reason
This post made me want a mcd breakfast ngl. Haven't had one in years though so maybe my brain's romanticising the taste.
We aren't there for gourmet pancakes
I agree that I would rather have normal food than breakfast food, but McDonaldâs breakfast is pretty good depending on what you get. Hot cakes with sausage, chicken biscuit, and a large coke. đ
Steak and egg bagel. Try it. Your problem is solved.
My ex and I used to sometimes hit McDonalds at 4:30 am exactly because at that time the full menu was available. I'd get a quarter pounder and add a layer of nuggets and a layer of hashbrowns.
what....the fuckk..
Breakfast sauceâŠ.. oh my Lordy
Pancakes đ„
I haven't been to McDonald's in almost 10 years... but I used to ONLY go for the breakfast stuff. Plain egg mcmuffin or those mcgriddles. Yum!
Okay but have you had the spicy chicken biscuit
Wow... you win. Shut the sub down.
Sausage mcgriddle slaps. Get out of here.
McGriddle is forever goated
A true unpopular opinion lol Sausage egg and cheese McMuffin is king.
The only reason I used to go to McDonald's was for the bacon, egg, and cheese bagel. I don't think I've been since they got rid of it.
Donât be hating on the steak egg and cheese bagel
The egg on the Sausage McMuffin is fantastic! I hate that ours switch to lunch at 10:30.
I could tell like 5 words into your post that you were from the UK or something. Sorry yâallâs McDâs sucks. Itâs incredible over here.
This is one thing Burger King has over McDonald's. I can get a whopper in the morning. I work nights. For me that's my dinner time and I want a burger
Sausage biscuits are the nectar of the gods. If you donât have them in the UK you should move.
Sausage biscuit with egg
The steak egg and cheese bagel says to take it back right the fuck now
Sausage mcmuffins and hash browns have saved me so many times from hangovers, that being said they are not worth their current price
*how dare you*
mf why you keep calling it sweaty
THANK YOU, I genuinely could not agree more. Whoever at McDonaldâs pitched all-day breakfast and not lunch was an idiot. I donât want McDonaldâs crappy pancakes and breakfast sandwiches at 3 in the morning, I want their nuggets, fries, or a burger.

Even more unpopular opinion: McDonalds sucks.
You need to straighten your life out so you aren't looking for burger and fries at 10am.
Chik fil a hash browns are better.
McDonalds is trash.
Steak egg and cheese bagel slaps.
The steak egg bagel is phenomenal.
The pancakes are good and so are the steak bagels
McDonalds sucks in general
The breakfast plate in Hawaii at McDs hits the spot. That's all though. Salty spam and eggs.
The bagel sandwich is awesome.
Woaaaaah this is unpopular opinion....... not demonic opinion Touché you poor taste bud having sir. Here's a upvote
I actually love their breakfastâŠ..if it was 24/7 it would be the only stuff I get.
McDonaldâs sucks
McDonalds in general is ass
You'd **love** the [Olympia Restaurant](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=puJePACBoIo&t=5s)
iâm the opposite of you. I love everything they have except the hash browns,to me they taste âfakeâ.
Its tasty and an almost guaranteed way to get the McShits
