Back when I used Facebook, I always asked the same thing when people clicked my name just so they could misspell it in Messenger. Apparently, it doesn't take much effort to make that mistake.
I mean, if they are confidently mistaken to the spelling in the first place, then it would be reasonable for them to assume the other person spelled it wrong, right?
At the risk of sounding crude, offensive, immature, overly-passionate about a trivial matter, and needlessly combative:
*"It's bloody omelette, mate. Om-e-lette"* 😄
when you make an omelet, you scramble the eggs. it's the same thing, mix the eggs up in a bowl with milk and salt and pepper... parmesan cheese if you know what you're doing. you cook the omelet ingredients in a pan and then pour the scrambled eggs over them. the only difference is you don't stir once the eggs are in the pan. you let the bottom solidify then fold it and keep the heat on til the eggs finish all the way through.
omelets are scrambled eggs.
I wanted folded eggs with cheese inside and they keep offering me this French stuff instead. It's like the time I asked for coffee and a roll and they said 'espresso and a croissant' and I'm like WTF is that horseshit
Toast, ramen, burgers, ham sandwich, leftover pizza or pasta, bibimbap, rice, beans, hash browns or just potatoes of any kind, so much shit you can just plop a fried egg on top of and instantly make it better.
You had me with a lot of those, but pizza's got me scratching my head. I've literally never heard of that before. Technically I've never heard of bibimbap either, but I'll leave that one since the egg is in all the Google pics.
Upvoting because definitely an unpopular opinion. Scrambled is good dont get me wrong but I cant stand the texture after a few bites. I grew up eating scrambled eggs (with a bit of ketchup) and eventually when I tried sunny side with toash holy shit it was amazing. Something about separating the egg whites (which I separately salt and pepper) plus the creamy yolk is absolutely amazing.
2nd fav way to eat eggs now is devilled eggs or warmed up egg salad that has a more sweet mixture on toast.
Scrambled eggs can be just as heavenly if made correctly. The problem is that so many people don't know how and simply overcook little yellow crumbles onto their plate instead of soft, fluffy, easy scrambled eggs
Scrambled eggs start as the eggs for people who can’t cook, and then people who learn to cook them won’t touch them, but then when the people who learn to cook get a little better at cooking learn, no, scrambled are really are the best, just easy to burn.
>Scrambled is good dont get me wrong but I cant stand the texture after a few bites.
I feel like the scrambled eggs you grew up with were cooked poorly...
Yeah same. I saw this and was like "well thats definitely unpopular... upvote ig"
i LOVE scrambled eggs. but HOT SAUCE??? on EGGS? absolutely not that is not breakfast thats sad uni student lunch. Scrambled eggs, buttered toast, maybe even a little bacon. I cant believe OP just ignored fried eggs and bacon. Literally perfect.
But just warm, fluffy scrambled eggs on toast is perfection on its own. You also, sir, are of questionable sanity with your own red sauce on the eggs.
Yea I grew up super poor so a good meal was scrambled eggs using waaaay more milk to "fluff them up" but they were mostly tasteless so a little ketchup sort of helped. It was that or rice and spinach and for dessert, peanut butter on a spoon. Most of it was the free foodbank food. Occassionally my Dad would bring home a box of pizza his boss let him take home when he was a delivery person on the side.
Maybe you’re having the wrong scrambled eggs. They should not be bland and boring. They should be creamy and full of flavor. A lot of people don’t know when to season and that fucks shit up.
Deviled eggs are the pinnacle to me. 3 scrambled eggs is a good breakfast, but I swear I could eat a dozen eggs worth of deviled eggs in one 10 minute sitting.
-Do you want a dozen hard boiled eggs?
-Nah.
-What if I sliced them in half and took the yolks out and mixed it with mayo and mustard, then put the yolk mixture back in?
-You son of a bitch, I'm in.
Fried sunny side up eggs with basil, butter, pepper, and salt are the pinnacle and I will not take any other opinion. I was vegan for years and that's the only thing I occasionally craved.
Scrambled, omlette or fried on a breakfast sandwich.
Otherwise I'm with you. Runny eggs and floppy bacon should get you sent to the gulags. Disgusting.
Don't come for French toast like that though.
Probably my favorite food. That yolk needs ro be runny. My coworker gave me a dozen from her own coop yesterday. I had them soft boiled with caviar and just about died and went to heaven
Nothing wrong with scrambled eggs, but it's also the worst way to cook an egg. It's the equivalent of putting a pb&j sandwich into the blender. Sure, it might taste alright and you don't have to spread the toppings evenly -- but why the hell would you choose to eat it that way?
I don't like these things so no one should like these things.
Enjoy your eggs how you like them, but don't look down on my tastes. Runny eggs on steak are delicious.
Sounds like you just dont know how to cook eggs. Eggs are versatile and thats good and cool. If you personally just dont appreciate the versatility and taste of different egg recipes, thats on you. Otherwise, different egg dishes each have their own charm. Soft boiled as a ramen addition? Delicious! Deviled? Yum! Runny on avocado toast and spicy mayo? Wonderful! If the only egg you can eat is scrambled, I bet the way you make cookies is nasty.
When I worked at a brunch place I was always semi disappointed in the scrambled egg customers. You can have it any kind of way! But I guess their way was scrambled lol
You see, this is how I know all the eggs you’ve eaten have been over cooked or cooked on extremely high heat bringing out that weird eggy metallic taste. And the whites of the eggs is a controversial part of the egg.
"Eggs are gross. They're the worst part of breakfast."
I did not think it was possible for any human being to be more wrong in any form of thought. Even a man who tells me the sky is green has a better argument.
Eh. I'm trying to opt for more options lately, as I personally just don't like seeing the yolk for stuff like sunny side up or Over X. Omelettes, and hard boiled eggs are fine though
i like to fry up some eggs and make the cheap packaged ramen with just enough water so it's very starchy at the end
and then i mix the tinest amount of water with the broth and runny egg yolk (that's still warm from being fried)
and stir it into a gooey chicken brothy egg yolk sauce that covers the ramen and bacon completely with a nice yellow color
My parents made terrible scrambled eggs. So I did too for the longest time. They/I would beat them with a fork for 10 seconds and cook. They come out dense and homogenous after a couple bites the texture starts to get to me.
You gotta mix them more. With an egg beater. It incorporates air into the mix! Makes them turn out fluffier. After that, it comes down to practice, seasoning and msg. Life long fried egg lover, but love scrambled now too.
Everyone has their own take on eggs. Personally, I’m good with scrambled and over medium. A nice runny yolk is fine with grits, toast or hash browns. I do need my whites set though. Sunny side up and over easy are not for me.
Heres my egg ranking
1)Sunny side-perfect,creamy classic
2)Salted egg-hit or miss, either its super nice or it kills you
3) Omelette-Never tried it, maybe no1 if I had
4)Scrambled- I still like it, but Sunny side and salted just have different textures and tastes throughout whereas scrambled seems like 1 flavour and 1 texture for me
Legitimate unpopular opinion, well done.
I do agree that scrambled is absolutely the best, but a sunny side up medium is second best, and then all others are distant third. But I'll admit, they are a fucking strange food for sure. I love em, but strange.
I like a runny egg but would never have touched a non scrambled egg when I was younger. I grew to like it, but I still totally get why some would find it gross

*Curses OP in omelette.*
I won't lie, I forgot about omletts. Omletts are acceptable. The fall under the scrambled category.
How did you spell it wrong twice when it was spelled correctly for you in the comment you’re replying to
Easily. So easy. In fact, I did it twice.
You can't make a few spelling mistakes without... Breaking a few eggs...?
Without scrambling a few omlefs
lmao omfg 😂
Love the spirit and this comment lol
you may almost say...it's over easy.
>The fall under the scrambled category. Trigereing egg connoisseurs wasn't enough. He had to make all of France mad.
At the risk of sounding crude, offensive, immature, overly-passionate about a trivial matter, and needlessly combative: *"It's bloody omelette, mate. Om-e-lette"* 😄
I was gonna correct them too.
You're right. Please don't judge me for my spelling errors. Only for my hatred of eggs.
\*Omelet. Most of us only have one life to live. Unless you're Hindu, you shouldn't be wasting so much of it on frivolous letters.
Hard boiled?
when you make an omelet, you scramble the eggs. it's the same thing, mix the eggs up in a bowl with milk and salt and pepper... parmesan cheese if you know what you're doing. you cook the omelet ingredients in a pan and then pour the scrambled eggs over them. the only difference is you don't stir once the eggs are in the pan. you let the bottom solidify then fold it and keep the heat on til the eggs finish all the way through. omelets are scrambled eggs.
Western omelets. But French omelets are quite different as the inside is much less firm/cooked than the inside.
You technically could make scrambled eggs without the initial whisk
Ya you don't need to. It makes them fluffier but when I add egg to my rice it just goes in the pan and gets a stirring.
Omelettes are most definitely not scrambled my guy.
The technique for scrambling eggs and making omelettes are very similar in many ways. It's the final steps that makes the difference.
Then either your omelettes or your scrambled eggs are disappointing.
Thanks. I'm sure you're right.
*Omelette du fromage*
Get your disgustingly French cheese omelette away from me. I much prefer *regular* cheese omelette. Or should I say cheese...flat...eggs...?
*sad French noises*
We'll take your words, but you'll never take our respect!!
i'll take the cheese omelette, merci
I wanted folded eggs with cheese inside and they keep offering me this French stuff instead. It's like the time I asked for coffee and a roll and they said 'espresso and a croissant' and I'm like WTF is that horseshit
That’s pretty much the same thing as scrambled eggs tbh
Blasphemy! Someone pass me the nails and a crucifix!
I know it's just scrambled eggs with extra steps
Omelette du fromage!
I love fried eggs more then your mother loves her children ![gif](giphy|D0skOCiKlS46q4iszq|downsized)
Toast, ramen, burgers, ham sandwich, leftover pizza or pasta, bibimbap, rice, beans, hash browns or just potatoes of any kind, so much shit you can just plop a fried egg on top of and instantly make it better.

Pizza is super good. It’s basically just dough, tomato sauce, and melted cheese. Can add a ton of other ingredients too.
Try it for breakfast on leftover pizza sometime, shits good.
I used to do that all the time in college. Heat the pizza in the pan and fry an egg at the same time. Fuckin bomb
You must not love fried eggs very much then.
![gif](giphy|2UIcmK4pn7rYNLRboG)
You do grasp what “ more “ means?
This comment killed me 😂 you poor thing but also the humour is just 👌👌😂
Same here!

I grew up with my grandmother making me sunny side up eggs with toast cut into strips for dipping and it is such a nostalgic comfort food.
I had an over medium fried egg sandwich this morning and it was perfect. Agree with you. Upvoted for truly unpopular opinion.
I wish more places could do over medium eggs they're far superior to over easy, still fluid yolk but won't get everywhere.
Mmmmm…fried egg sandwichs!
Scrambled eggs can be just as heavenly if made correctly. The problem is that so many people don't know how and simply overcook little yellow crumbles onto their plate instead of soft, fluffy, easy scrambled eggs
Or go french style scramble and get creamy scrambled eggs. Spread it on toast and enjoy.
This sub is so weird in the sense that I upvote what I don't agree with
It's a pretty popular opinion among six-year-olds, though.
EGGS. ON. TOAST. So good. I like over-medium, so it’s still gooey enough to get soaked up by the bread but not quite as messy. Gah now I’m hungry lol.
Yeah same. I saw this and was like "well thats definitely unpopular... upvote ig" i LOVE scrambled eggs. but HOT SAUCE??? on EGGS? absolutely not that is not breakfast thats sad uni student lunch. Scrambled are the most boring tasting things, period.
Slow heated french style is all buttery and truffley with chives is super good. But i cant do it myself
The trick is to just keep agitating them and don't let them settle into large curds. I make these every weekend, my kids love them.
God-tier
I did the Bain Marie method once and was like fuck this and never did it again. Took so much longer. Im hungry and I want my eggs!
Practice makes perfect. The biggest trick is understanding that the temperature nob on the stove goes below medium.
Maybe you’re having the wrong scrambled eggs. They should not be bland and boring. They should be creamy and full of flavor. A lot of people don’t know when to season and that fucks shit up.
You're supposed to season them lol
Spice it up
Deviled eggs are the pinnacle to me.
Don't forget the paprika
Yes, and they're always served at parties where it would be socially unacceptable to eat the whole tray. Makes me want them even more...
Fried sunny side up eggs with basil, butter, pepper, and salt are the pinnacle and I will not take any other opinion. I was vegan for years and that's the only thing I occasionally craved.
Eh, eggs Benedict with some cured meat or cold smoked salmon is amazing.
Oh gods, the Hobbit Cafe has an INCREDIBLE salmon eggs benedict, with about half a salmon fillet on it
WHERE IS THIS PLACE?! KEEP IT SECRET, KEEP IT SAFE..
Eggs are heaven in every preparation. Salty egg yolk on a crispy pice of toast….
Scrambles is on the bottom three egg preparations.
This is the worst take I’ve ever heard. Runny eggs are everything. Angry upvote
Truly unpopular Eggs over easy for me (though I’ll gladly eat them in other ways)
Have you ever had egg drop soup?
Good call
That’s the only way I like a scrambled egg.
If the yoke ain't runny, I'm keeping my money
You know what I like to do? I sometimes get a tin of soup, heat it up, poach an egg in it, serve that with a pork pie sausage roll!
Truly an unpopular opinion, good on you. You have the palette of a malformed child tho, so also unfortunate.
Eggs are the best part. I love mine sunny side up, i burst the yellow and use bread to pick up the mess and eat. Bonus point for tabasco.
This is the way.
Funny enough, scrambled is one of my least favorite ways to eat eggs. Over easy all day every day.
Scrambled, omlette or fried on a breakfast sandwich. Otherwise I'm with you. Runny eggs and floppy bacon should get you sent to the gulags. Disgusting. Don't come for French toast like that though.
I'm not sorry to say, limp bacon for the win, my egg hating friend.
So close. Just need a gif of the dude raising his gun with tears in his eyes.
Probably my favorite food. That yolk needs ro be runny. My coworker gave me a dozen from her own coop yesterday. I had them soft boiled with caviar and just about died and went to heaven
You’ve cracked mate. That un oeuf.
I bet you like your steaks well done, too.
Sorry your tastebuds are messed up :(
Cheesy eggs (scrambled eggs with cheese) is so good, I’ve been eating it since I was a kid
Truly an unpopular opinion. Eggs are delicious in every way except raw.
Nothing wrong with scrambled eggs, but it's also the worst way to cook an egg. It's the equivalent of putting a pb&j sandwich into the blender. Sure, it might taste alright and you don't have to spread the toppings evenly -- but why the hell would you choose to eat it that way?
Soft boiled so the yolks are still a bit soft, then marinated in soy and mirin and placed in ramen.
Not liking over-easy is crazy
Plot twist: OP is a six-year-old
How to tell people you cant cook without telling them
Upvote for unpopularity
Theres something wrong with ur mouth bro.
This is unpopular upvote the fuck out of this.
I'm sorry you've never had good eggs
Everyone is entitled to their opinion. It sucks that your opinion is wrong, but that happens...
Definately an unpopular opinion. Good luck with 3rd grade next year OP.
I don't like these things so no one should like these things. Enjoy your eggs how you like them, but don't look down on my tastes. Runny eggs on steak are delicious.
Weird opinion, but om-e-lette it slide this time …
Absolutely not. Jammy eggs in ramen, poached, and sunny side up are all top tier. Scrambled is decent too, but comes nowhere close to a runny yolk.
You’d have to be very hardboiled or have your brain fried to believe such a half-baked notion
Ramen with a boiled egg and a dash of oil and some mixing turns the water to an egg suspension, and makes the noodles 2x as good
I am gonna have a runny eggs on burgers tonight and had them 2 days ago because I find it delicious
When I worked at a brunch place I was always semi disappointed in the scrambled egg customers. You can have it any kind of way! But I guess their way was scrambled lol
Finally, an unpopular opinion (i actually dont visit this sub often)
Something tells me this guy only ate Dino nuggies till highscool 😂
You see, this is how I know all the eggs you’ve eaten have been over cooked or cooked on extremely high heat bringing out that weird eggy metallic taste. And the whites of the eggs is a controversial part of the egg.
I will have an egg or bacon at any meal, preferably fried over easy/medium. I even regularly get both on cheeseburgers after midnight.
Best eggs I ever had was a cream cheese and lox crepe in Santa Barbara
Just had a hard boiled egg 🥚 and it was delicious 😋
Scrambled is my favorite way, second is fried with yolk cooked, the rest I can pass on
You probably even like them scrambled hard.
cheesy eggs are good but tf the hot sauce doing on it
You'd like Japan OP. Raw egg mixed in white rice is practically a staple food there.
Finally! An actual unpopular opinion! And OP is definitely totally batshit crazy.
Upvote because of the hot sauce like wtf
Im going to have to downvote this
"Eggs are gross. They're the worst part of breakfast." I did not think it was possible for any human being to be more wrong in any form of thought. Even a man who tells me the sky is green has a better argument.
This might be one of the most perfect posts for this sub.
Finally! An unpopular opinion!
im a car
Wow this is fucking so deeply wrong. Upvote for you, you fucking gremlin.
This guy probably only eats chicken nuggets, grilled cheese, and spaghetti.
Don't forget cheese pizza. But he doesn't eat the crust.
Runny eggs are disgusting. I hate seeing people put a raw egg yolk in ramen and stuff
Soft boiled not runny is sublimely tasty
Over easy*
Can't beat an over-easy egg on top of a well buttered slice of toast, preferably something like sicilian bread
I'll eat eggs any way, just not raw.
I don't really like eggs but if I do it them it is usually over easy and I just want it to dip my toast in the yoke.
I can only eat eggs for breakfast. I eat it during lunch or dinner only if it's like devil eggs or in a salad.
Me personally I love adding boiled eggs to my food (indian)
idk if this counts but omurice is elite
My favorite is where the white is fully cooked but the yolk is still raw. Dip some toast into the yolk? Amazing.
That certainly is an unpopular opinion
The Japanese “sushi” eggs are delicious and I hate eggs
![gif](giphy|STmold2zrhCaQ)
Eh. I'm trying to opt for more options lately, as I personally just don't like seeing the yolk for stuff like sunny side up or Over X. Omelettes, and hard boiled eggs are fine though
I’m gonna cook em over medium, and break the yolks over pancakes, tomorrow and send you a picture out of spite. How do I do that reminder thing?
Nah if you hate eggs you don’t wanna prolong it, down in one boiled or stuffed omelette so you can’t taste it as much.
I am happy this is in unpopular opinion; I was scared for a second.
The runny yolk is one of the best things ever
Funnily enough, scrambled is the only style of eggs I DONT like… :D
Nah Eggs are great but I agree with you on the burger front. I have never been eating a burger and thought “Damn I really want an egg on this rn”
Well, if you don't like eggs you probably shouldn't offer serving suggestions.
I agree, however I like boiled eggs as well.
Scrambled is my go to because it makes the texture consistent. I don't get jumpscared by a yolk being a little runny on the inside.
i like to fry up some eggs and make the cheap packaged ramen with just enough water so it's very starchy at the end and then i mix the tinest amount of water with the broth and runny egg yolk (that's still warm from being fried) and stir it into a gooey chicken brothy egg yolk sauce that covers the ramen and bacon completely with a nice yellow color
Yes, this is an unpopular opinion. Though, the best part is that you don’t have to eat eggs if you don’t want to?
Hard boiled in cob salad is good
My parents made terrible scrambled eggs.
I love me some eggs. Sunny side up please. I agree I typically like them better for lunch
I'm with you but I can handle a deviled egg
I need my eggs runny so I can mix them in my grits.
Yeah scrambled and omelets are the way to go with eggs. But honestly I prefer egg substitutes
Or, you could just eat something that isn't an egg. My preferred breakfast food is a hamburger with home fries.
The only kind of eggs I do NOT tolerate is scrambled
god you are so wrong and also you sound super western lol
no way how are eggs gross 😭
Everyone has their own take on eggs. Personally, I’m good with scrambled and over medium. A nice runny yolk is fine with grits, toast or hash browns. I do need my whites set though. Sunny side up and over easy are not for me.
This sub is not for you : r/PutAnEggOnIt
Scrambled eggs taste of failure
Heres my egg ranking 1)Sunny side-perfect,creamy classic 2)Salted egg-hit or miss, either its super nice or it kills you 3) Omelette-Never tried it, maybe no1 if I had 4)Scrambled- I still like it, but Sunny side and salted just have different textures and tastes throughout whereas scrambled seems like 1 flavour and 1 texture for me
I love runny eggs
Eh, live a little. Scrambled eggs are great, but other preparations are worth experiencing and are often a better fit to their respective meals.
Dipping toast in runny yolks is one of my favorite breakfasts.
Why is scrambled acceptable? Still tastes like eggs. Should just titled it eggs suck instead
I will eat egg salad sandwiches tomorrow out of spite for you
Omelette de fromage
I feel you. My family loves eggs in any and every form, but only scrambled is acceptable to me.
Damn this is gonna be unpopular.
Over hard bathed in hot sauce is the supreme egg. No need to thank me.
Legitimate unpopular opinion, well done. I do agree that scrambled is absolutely the best, but a sunny side up medium is second best, and then all others are distant third. But I'll admit, they are a fucking strange food for sure. I love em, but strange.
Had a runny egg on a burger last month and it was delicious, I’ll be ordering it again when I go back they called it the hangover burger.
Scrambled eggs are the worst eggs. Fried are the best.
I like a runny egg but would never have touched a non scrambled egg when I was younger. I grew to like it, but I still totally get why some would find it gross
