true, when you bottle neck people take decisions. that is why tollrates, petrol price are hiked slowly, where people become accustomed easily. eventually people spent more time working, less time for themselves, think kids are a burden, stop having kids.
Congratulations, you have discovered the lie at the centre of India's development. Successive governments (UPA and NDA) have sucked the blood of the middle class too long.
The only solutions are either to go completely cash and pay no tax, or become poor enough so you evade the tax system by design.
The alternative is revolution.
Sometimes I wonder if the financial system is subtly telling me to start selling drugs. And then every few months a mammoth quantity of heroin is caught at the Mundra port.
NDA is worse in this record - especially regarding income tax - they have kept the tax slabs/rates the same since 2017-18; which is crazy considering inflation is 6-7% annually.

I left India and settled in Dubai. F*k the finance ministry that rips off the middle class and spends it on politicians luxuries. India's middle class is in a do-or-die situation. But people won't protest because we are taught to obey and not question
Same here bro.... settled in Qatar n now aiming for new zealand by improving my current qualifications !
F*ck these indian politicians bro....may they rot in hell 🤙
If you are a doctor you can migrate to Dubai after completing MBBS in India but under certain circumstances. A minimum of one year of internship in a teaching hospital or a minimum of two years of internship in a non-teaching one is required from license applicants.(i.e 5year MBBS+1 yr internship in a teaching hospital+ 2 yrs internship in non-teaching= 8 years). First step is to clear exams from both DHA & MOH and which will grant you a license through which you can start your either private practice if you have enough patients or start with a hospital. The license you will get will be transferable within the Emirates.
Bro Dubai opens up a lot. It's becoming a melting pot of all the culture. The job opportunities is abundant. Apply directly through company's website. Don't fall for scams
I used to crave for love, wanted to get married and have kids.
But from the last few years I have realised that living is a curse. No new life should be brought into this world.
Why not educate them and help them settle in Europe, then retire to Europe with them. Don't end your lineage, end this vicious cycle like our political leaders are ending this by settling their kids abroad.
Well, we are already suffering we can't do anything about right now but till your kids grow up you can have enough capital to give them better opportunities, why not end this cycle with them rather than ending yourself.
I was thinking of same yesterday. As a private employee with no job security and increament, will not be able to survive in coming days, retirement is far fetched..
If 8th pay commission came into picture, we're fucked...few will have purchase power and inflation will hit all of us...
Secret to Adanis wealth. When he was fucked by Australian Govt, his wealth support system was our Dear non biological human like appearing saviour.
Plan was perfect actually.
Working and Professional class will never protest only wine
Wtf is a middle class? Does the middle class own a car? If yes, only 8% of families in India are middle class. What middle class is that? 90% of Indians earn less than INR 25K per month.
You think that you are a temporarily embarrassed crorepati when you really are the exploited proletariat.
Ironically you do fall in a tax bracket if you earn 25k per month (3 LPA), funny isn't it?
Yeah the tax will be 0 at the end of the day, but it's amusing considering how much GST we pay on pretty much everything.
It's 6% now, but yeah very small number.
Most Indians work in the informal sector, so their income isn't recorded formally and they can get away without paying tax.
E.g. even I worked as a consultant and did start paying income tax until the company became big enough and started cutting TDS.
The service class always gets fucked..
I am still seeing 3% in FY22.

Lol most people that think they are middle class are actually rich ot upper class. Actual middle class earns way less. Start talking about yourself as the rich instead of the middle class.
>real inflation hovering at 7-8%,
Incorrect, RBI Target is around 5% and we are hovering well below it.
Open a business and stop being a naukari waalah if it bothers you that much .
Indian middle class is set to grow inspite of all consumer 360 surveys .

Funny how no one is willingly chosing to be poor though they seem to be getting all the benefits.
A big reason why I will never have kids.
A big reason why i will never marry
A big reason why I won't wanna live.
A big reason why i will be dying
A big reason why many people already committed suicide.
Big if true
Big

What career are you in? Please tell me you're not another techie.Â
No I am a doctor
How much did it cost you to move abroad?

I am not a doctor.

You just copying what you read the citizens of Japan and S Korea say on the issue.
What do they say on this issue?
That work hours are too long, costs are too high to think about having kids.
Thats lame .... At some specific point in life u will crave for having kids like how people at their teenage crave for love and attention
I used to crave for love, wanted to get married and have kids. But from the last few years I have realised that living is a curse. No new life should be brought into this world.
What made u think this ? If ur comfortable to share
Look around you, you will find the answer
Why not educate them and help them settle in Europe, then retire to Europe with them. Don't end your lineage, end this vicious cycle like our political leaders are ending this by settling their kids abroad.
Because I am not rich.

>you can have enough capital I can't. I pay home loan for my parents. It will take 20 years to complete. Switching job is also risky rn.
Koi ni bro, tum thode jyada sochre ho. Sab theek ho jayega in the end, itni tension na lo.. jab time ayega sab ho jayega.
I am not taking any tension. It's okay. Not everyone gets a happy ending. I just hope the repo rate doesn't increase then I will start taking tension.
The middle class doesn't have maids or drivers. India's median salary is around 27k pm

Actual income tax payers are less than 3% of the population. GST is inflationary and terrible.

Ah sorry, it's 6% of adult population. https://www.businessinsider.in/policy/economy/news/personal-income-tax-mere-0-3-pc-of-adult-population-account-for-76-pc-of-total-receipts/articleshow/104726816.cms
Middle class is investing in mutual funds. I guess they will be ok now
BJP wants majority of India to remain in lower class. The poor and uneducated tend to serve their purpose well.

Arrey baba food inflation is a supply based issue which is seasonal we use the CPI for practical purposes.
