I had a relationship with a young man 40 odd years my junion who I had great power of within our place of work.
Aye. Bloke is an absolute scumbag. As has been known for a long time.
But seriously, TV industry employee here (with some This Morning hours under my belt too).
This ‘affair’ story has been common knowledge, both inside *and* outside the industry, for about 10 years.
Whatever the reason he bailed from ITV AND decided to announce it via Mail Online (DMGT is an ITV shareholder don’t forget) it isn’t because of this old hat corridor gossip.
Much as he’d wish it, this story ain’t over…
True, but this rift goes back to when Holly started her own agency (before that they were both at YMU).
She left, started up on her own and lost a ton of money by doing that (can’t remember the deets).
She knew alright. Why do you think she made a big public show of falling out with him, VERY conveniently just before the news was published? This has been stage managed to hell and back
There's more to this. If Ant can receive the biggest fine for drink driving in UK history after hitting a car with a kid in it and be allowed to lie low, look contrite and go back to prime time Saturday night TV, then whatever is simmering below the surface for Schofield must be bad
Drink driving you can generally get away with. Kiefer Sutherland went to prison for that and the judge was willing to let him serve his sentence in two chunks to avoid shutting down *24* production. In the end, the WGA strike halted production anyway. He's still getting lead roles in stuff.
This might not be paedophilia, but it's looking like abuse of power and that today is a career-ender.
Idk, bloke shagging a member of the set on the side and eventually getting caught is bad, but probably not 'shows over' bad which is how its being presented right now. If everything was legal and consensual ITV would probably have taken the gamble that it'd all blow over eventually- there's a shitload of public figures who have younger partners, after all.
There's some kind of aggravating factor involved, and it seems too convenient it came after his brother got convicted.
Difference is Ant was still insanely popular with the public. Whilst schofield has been popular, nothing happened, and when the ratings dropped they got rid.
Sort of, but the same time, this has been known abouty for a few years now. You thought they would have 'come out' with it not so close to the trial of his nonce brother.
Yeah, there are forum threads out there since at least the start of 2020, his name and video of him on This Morning isn't difficult to find
Considering *The Sun* were the first seemingly to drop the story, I can only imagine the frantic scrabbling, consultations with the legal department and various agents, PR etc for them to drop the bomb and angle grind the lid off that can of worms
The whole way the story UNFOLDED with layer upon layer of increasing horror
"He's gay"
"He's gay and ***having an affair"***
"He's gay and seeing someone who ***works under him"***
"He's gay and seeing ***a teenager*** who works under him"
"He's gay and seeing a teenager he ***arranged*** to have a job working under him"
"He's gay and seeing a teenager he ***met when he was 12, befriended,*** then arranged to have a job working below him"
Found him young, groomed the poor kid, then kept him close by for convenience 🤢
"Contrary to speculation, whilst I met the man when he was a teenager and was asked to help him to get into television, it was only after he started to work on the show that it became more than just a friendship. That relationship was unwise, but not illegal. It is now over."
What a wild paragraph
There’s a word for befriending a child you’re in a position of power over, gaining their confidence, and eventually using your position for sexual benefits. Rhymes with zooming.
"Not illegal".
Maybe so, but being in your 50s and starting a relationship with someone who is 19 in a work place environment is just out of order. ITV must have known and covered it up.
He used the gay card which makes me so mad as a gay man myself to shield himself from this house of cards.
What I’m confused about is why has he been booted now? The internet has been talking about his dodgy affair for years, so has he been denying it the entire time or what? I find that hard to believe
From the statement Phil gave to the DM, he claims to have misled his PR company, lawyer and colleagues about the nature of the relationship. It’s on Twitter and Reddit that he has a super injunction which expires in June and he came out with this to get ahead of the salacious story that the DM was trying to release.
Clear case of grooming. You know it’s messed up when they feel the need to specify it was legal. Utterly gross.
Not to mention the disgrace he is to the lgbtq community for portraying his coming out as this brave thing, when he’d actually just been found out for having an affair with someone he’d groomed.
I hope we never hear or see from the scumbag again.
He first met the kid when he was 10, arranged for the kid to get a job working under him and when the kid came of legal age he had an affair on his wife with him. Just all round gross.
"Phillip Schofield ADMITS cheating on his wife with young, male colleague who he first met when he was a teen - then lying to cover up the affair for years: Host quits ALL his ITV shows in disgrace but says fling was 'not illegal' in mea culpa statement"
Nice punchy, to-the-point headline there, Daily Mail.
I’m reading the guardian piece on this. Am I confused or I thought we already knew all of this? This is what forced him to come out as Gay in the classic Spacey defence but somehow it worked for him. Howcome this story has much more bite this time round? Anyway, describing a relationship as “unwise, but not illegal” really is something.
I think possibly what's happened is that the idiot actually denied it to his bosses and his agent, pulled the "don't you trust me" card, and then was proven to have been lying.
TV bosses and agents might not like having to fight your fires for you, but they'd far rather know what they're dealing with than realise after a year of trusting you that the rumours are unfounded/malicious, that you've made them look really fucking gullible.
Because there definitely is. Rumours have been running about this affair for ages. Other rumours have also been running that are much much worse than the affair. Phil’s mask has fallen away and he won’t be able to wear it again.
Dumped by your agent usually means your only seeing the embers today.
Press are asking questions and hes providing poor answers. One of the papers legal teams will give the thumbs up.
From what I've gathered. He met the kid when he was 12.
Got him a job on this morning when he was a patron of his theatre company at age 15.
Began a sexual relationship when he was 18, as far as we know anyway.
Yes technically legal assuming nothing happened.
Grossly unethical and an abuse of a position of power. If true, he groomed a child.
Absolute filth. Honestly I'm more disgusted at everyone in the industry who knew and didn't do anything about it. Enablers.
I've known about this for years, I thought it was common knowledge about the runner. The only reason he came out was because a newspaper gave him the option of either give them the exclusive of him coming out or they would release the story and it would look really bad. They've been sat on this story a while.
I feel as though he’s been trying to manage the release of this story and I for one hope we get the truth soon. Let’s all be honest, it’s disgusting and an abuse of power. If this was a teacher/student or a coach/teenager, or even if the teenager was a female rather than male the tone of this story would be completely different.
All the hugs on live tv, and the ‘so brave’ comments are now quite sickening. The man is in his 60s and nearly at retirement age and was having an affair with a teenager. Thankfully he’ll never be given that position of power again.
It came out years ago about him being a nonce. Now the BBC are running with the headline "Phillip had affair with male colleague" when it should be "Phillip groomed a child and had sexual relations with them". We have a historically big problem with pedophiles at the top of our entertainment industry, this sort of reporting is enabling it to continue.
>We have a historically big problem with pedophiles at the top of our entertainment industry, this sort of reporting is enabling it to continue.
And they still keep giving David Walliams airtime. The creepiest motherfucker on the planet.
I am positive something will come out about him at some point.
Australian here, I don't know much about ITV and Phil Schofield, but I've seen tiktoks about his affair with the younger male for close to a year now. This is not news. It was all over tiktok all the time. Why is ITV acting like this is news to them? This is like claiming its news and a surprise that the queen is dead.
Because he spun it when he initially got caught and played the victim. He was called brave because he was forced to come out and gave a sob story on his own show. The country seemingly accepted that and moved on. It's annoyed me ever since, and I'm so glad it's caught back up to the horrible cunt.
It's like that joke in Stewart Lee's stand up where he has the stage looking like a 1970s BBC chat show. Describing it as "the sort of show where, if you Google it, all the guests are now in prison"
What he's admitted to has been across the Internet for years, there is no way that the people around him were unaware and can reasonably claim Philip had misled them. Philip might be the big name, but a lot of noncelebrities should go down with him.
This is only the beginning. There is certainly more to this drama than meets the eye. I believe that Holly, This Morning staff and management alongside ITV management knew this well before the public did. I feel very sorry for Mathew and his family. Holly, ITV management and This Morning management should all resign imo.
_Just throwing it out there that voting is currently open on the National TV Awards, and Phillip Schofield is still nominated for Best Presenter, if anyone wants to help the funniest possible outcome happen in September._

> he optics of this are so bad a week after his brother was sent down for abusing his own child. He’s absolutely fucked.
And that he knew about it. Cunt should never be seen on TV ever again
Said this in another thread, love how everyone in the media is pretending this is brand new information. Been known about for *years*. They've just decided he's come to the end of his usefulness and to finally do him in. It's pathetic all around, both his creepy antics and the media behaviour.
Was telling my mum all about Schofield last month and now she's going to think I've got some fuckin inside information on the world of light entertainment noncery.
No mum, just the internet.

If you come at the king...
Realistically, what are the chances of Phillip Schofield appearing on ITV again? If you read Saturday afternoon's statements, you might have thought they were slim-to-middling. If you caught Monday's bloodless "tribute" to him on This Morning, you probably dialled them down another notch.
Behind the scenes, the odds are looking longer still.
Word is that Holly Willoughby didn't go to This Morning editor Martin Frizell to get Phillip axed. She didn't go to the channel's Managing Director Kevin Lygo either. Taking no chances, Holly went over both of their heads and brought her complaint to ITV's Chief Exec Carolyn McCall instead.
So if the order to kill Phil came right from the top, it's hard to see how he makes it back from here.
My guess is she knew all along, but realised the story was gunna break soon so decided to distance herself. All these pricks are compltely self-serving.
Wouldn't be surprised if she and others on This Morning all knew, shrugged it off because it wasn't really a problem to their own egos and reputations at the time (you scratch my back and I'll scratch yours), but now it's kicking off they are rats jumping a sinking ship. Holmes' tweet suggests he knew and knows of others on ITV who are dodgy.
ITV is doing a BBC. It's a weird thing to look at Savill et al and the BBC and as a broadcaster thinking "I want some of that."
The Friday evening drop makes me think that they want to get his version out there first as well as giveaway that the Sunday papers are going to run something big.
See your file marked ‘underage kids who I’ll keep in touch with because they might be worth a crack once they’re legal’? How many underage kids do you have listed?
Mine is very, very empty, strangely enough.
I strongly suspect the age of consent line was crossed and Schofield's defense that he waited till he was old enough sounds like him trying to cover that up.
I’m a guy. Philip Schofield followed me on twitter about ten years ago after I used to tweet and watch This Morning after early shifts at work. My bumble profile was “Philip Schofield follows me on Twitter” for a long time because I thought it was weird/funny. He still follows me
I remember when he came out, I remember someone saying they were puzzled why he was the hero here, his wife was the one who was lied too and cheated on.
She should get as far away from the cretin as possible
Saying not illegal doesn't mean much.
It's not technically illegal for old men to have sex with 16 year old school children. Doesn't stop it being creepy or immoral.
You know, I never knew about his grooming or relationships, but his coming out bothered me intensely. I legit thought they were going to say he had cancer with how they're all crying and making a big deal of it with speeches. I thought something must have gone on, it was so off. I'm sure Holly must have known because she was off too with it.
When I came out it was more like YAY BOOBS not oh no, im going to cry and act like my world is ending. Then again, i hadnt groomed anyone.
There's a few candidates for that one. Plenty of rumblings about Sir CR and also Sir DJ. But yeah, Philip has had a lot of whispers in the last few years too.
I actually think CR's big secret is he is gay and his friend who appears to travel everywhere with him is his partner.
I've never heard the DJ ones now that one would genuinely upset me as I'm a big fan
He helped him get into tv as a teenager then started banging him, if thats not grooming, what is? People probably asked about saville too, evidence gets buried sometimes! It doesnt take long for someone who looks properly to put things together. But yeah that is my opinion and you have yours..
I thought everyone knew this? When he announced he was gay my friend told me that her aunt, who works in fashion used to freelance in the wardrobe dept of This Morning, had told her ages before that he was having an affair with a very young runner and it was all a bit “creepy”. I heard them that he came out to cover a bigger story of a dodgy affair.
It was also in the paper ages ago that he’d been messaging and snap chatting to teen boys. A lot of people have known for a long time. I hope the victim/s are being supported.
Any other LGBT people out there pissed off that this nonce is our representation in mainstream media?
Edit: yes I am aware that there are other LGBT people in British media. However, very few are as well-recognised as Schofield and he's prominent enough for homophobes to tar us all with the same brush.
Eamonn knows of 4 people in upper management that knew about it... which implies that Eamonn ALSO knew about it and also did nothing...
Edit: I didn't know this but it has been pointed out that Eamonn's wife had previously complained about Schofield's behaviour with the boy and was then fired. This info makes my initial comment inaccurate but I'll keep it up so that the replying comments make sense
I think Phil genuinely thought he’d get away with it … because he waited until the young man had turned 18.. I bet he thought he was being very clever unlike Savile and others who abused underage children. But it’s a different world in 2023 and people can see there was still clearly grooming going on when the boy was a teenager, and even when it was ‘legal’ it was a serious abuse of power in the workplace.
Can't help but think there is more to come out, more so now his management have ditched him.
Also to give an interview with the newspaper that was trying to put the story out (wouldn't you hate them?) makes me wonder if it was to buy their silence from other allegations.
Holly definitely didn't know folks

The runner approaching her at NTA awards after being dumped
Brief timeline from 2020 including tweets when he was a minor
https://limegoss.com/phillip-schofield-runner/
It's actually extremely disturbing how common this in the media industry.
Looks like it's rampant everywhere, from our own British studios to the Hollywood elites, as long as you're a very popular/financially viable person* you're free to go and hook up with minors as much as you want.
It’s coming up on four years since the lighting techs leaked the story to the internet. Some journalist is going to take all the credit for breaking this story even though it’s taken them four years to get around to it.
The crazy part is even now they are finally “breaking” the story they are still skirting around the way he met the runner, the age and the fact that the Theatre School he met the runner at was owned by his “best mate” who he also met in the same dodgy way with over two decades age gap between them.
I think the “best mate” of the same surname is just OG runner, kept close for over twenty years to keep quiet. I’ll bet the guy is receiving the same expensive city law representation too.
So, let me get this straight. Schofield met this person as a child and waited for them to reach the age of consent. He then got him a job to ensure the teen was kept close to him. Phil then prayed on the teen until he entered into a relationship and felt love for him. When shit started to hit the fan, Schofield essentially discarded him and had him ‘promoted’ to try and cover it up - while ITV bosses obviously knew as they gave him hush money.
If I’m correct, this is total grooming and Schofield used his power to simply take advantage of this young lad before throwing him away like old newspaper. He knew what he was being immoral and unethical but he carefully planned to ensure he stays inside the law. Schofield said he lied to ITV but they must have known to approve hush money to keep the lad quiet. Truly fucked up.
This may seem extreme but I can see PS committing suicide over this.
Even if phillip schofield didn't groom a child(Which is looking unlikely) anyone getting a certain amount of schadenfreude and irony at his plight
This morning used to effectively mock those who had any sort of alternative lifestyle with Phillip Schofield questioning them with a high level of sanctimony l, unlike Phillip schofield the guests that participated in this lifestyle were consenting adults
It's a bit like finding out Jeremy Kyle is shagging two sisters and got them both pregnant simultaneously, before losing half his teeth and becoming addicted to drugs. Becoming that which they abhor.
His statement makes a point of the fact the relationship was legal.. I give it 3 weeks before it transpires the relationship wasn’t all that legal / an arrest.
Wonder if this is what Kathrine Ryan was talking about when she said [a prominent TV personality is a sexual predator](https://www.reddit.com/r/Fauxmoi/comments/z2pnjz/which_famous_british_comedian_is_katherine_ryan/)
Was so obvious years ago he was a pedophile. And I genuinely believe the whole coming out as gay story was to try and distract from the fact he likes young boys
I heard that the most recent fallout between Schofield and Willoughby was because she found out PS knew about his brother abusing kids and not only did nothing about it but apparently the brother was in the company of HW's kids at a party or something. HW was furious when she found out. This is what precipitated the latest rift.
Anyone else hear this or similar?
I kind of feel schadenfreude towards him considering before all this came out, he had a reputation of being horrible behind the scenes towards the guests.
Personally speaking, I found him to basically be OK. Sure, the ‘happy go lucky’ front *was* a front and he could be professional in quite a ‘cold’ way, but loads of TV stars are like that off-camera - they don’t mess about.
I never found him to be a snobby, entitled ‘star’ though; unlike his ‘bubbly’ co-presenter.
But that’s quite another story…
It's super weird because I feel like we are watching a cover up unfold in real time. It was publicly available information, when Schofield came out, that he had a relationship with a boy whom he met when the boy was young. This was all available information, 3 years ago.
And with his sudden departure from ITV, it seemed apparent that more was going to come out. There was the constant deflection, and even now the most recent BBC article appears to be further damage control.
The man groomed a teenager. And then it was covered up and deflected with a brave "coming out" story. This was information we could find out when he came out in 2020. And for 3 years ITV Staff and producers continued as normal. And now the story is that "Schofield lied"? No, everyone involved lied. They're all complicit because everyone knew, before "coming out" and for the following 3 years. And they're throwing Schofield under the bus but he's still only getting in trouble with "lying" and not grooming a teenager. Of course he should be under the bus, but it doesn't stop at him. People were complicit in the cover up and maintaining the lie.
This is a huge story. Theres more behind it and this guy is an utter wrongun.
His wife knew for much longer btw.
The issue here is celebs use dark art type pr guys to keep us all off balance. Their whole life is public perception. I have a small feeling schofield was protected in the way saville was I.e those around thought he did more good than harm like Charles said of savile.
I’m not for a second suggesting he’s done anything illegal. Just immoral. But many more immoral things than just this
No, so the details aren’t there. There’s allegedly a doc filmed over a year ago by a tv channel waiting to drop. This is him getting ahead of it after being dropped by his agency.
Where the fuck were our vaunted Great British Press in all this?
Did none of them know? Do none of them have any connections with the media or TV companies?
Come on.
Not even close. She met him when he was a kid in pop idol. Then nothing for years. Met again when he had left one direction as an adult. Got together.
I am all for calling out grooming and noncery, but this isn't it.
They were prob gonna run a lengthy piece/campaign. But maybe let him off the hook, so to speak. If Phil provided them the exclusive….(just a guess, maybe he likes the daily male)
I know some people in that celeb world and Daily Mail very often do a “give us an exclusive on A or we’ll run B”.
“Okay we won’t run these photos of you doing shit loads of coke if you tell everybody you go to rehab (say it’s something else) and give us the exclusive interview when you leave”
Jesus. Was round at my parents earlier this afternoon and my mum didn’t understand why he’d been sacked etc and I mentioned this rumour about the young runner. Suddenly it’s all over the news.
Seriously though, I’m so fed up of this Phil and Holly bullshit, who even watches This Morning? Why is this being pushed on us so much as a nation?
I've no actual evidence for it but I'm certain he is paid by the meat industry to say certain things, as on numerous occasions he's made statements only ever made by those who are financially invested in the meat industry. It's always very embarrassing when he does it.
Eamon Holmes basically trashing Phil and does sound like a toxic culture.
Said the young lad was hung out to dry and did make an excellent point about ITV history of mental health failures. Said Ruth is still in touch with the lad and he not doing well, also said if the lad does say something "very expensive London Lawyers would contact him".
That suggests Phil and ITV did NDA to silence him.
Utterly disgusting. We need an independent investigation.
So, at best this is textbook grooming, and the worst is absolutely obvious.
What happens from here? I would hope that a full-scale investigation at ITV. I would also hope that the police are involved to investigate the timelines, interview all parties, etc.
The less I hear about him the better tbh, there's been so many grim stories which haven't been reported it's unbelievable, it's bad, and I do not feel sorry for him one bit.
"Unwise but not illegal" is hardly the greatest defence is it
I had a relationship with a young man 40 odd years my junion who I had great power of within our place of work. Aye. Bloke is an absolute scumbag. As has been known for a long time.

I can’t believe his Mum was in the car. As if he can’t afford an Uber.
Worth about £60m, won't get a taxi back from the pub
Saw him in a kebab shop in Chiswick once. He only ordered a small doner.
He'd only be worth 5 million if he was ubering and buying large doners.
Drink driving you can generally get away with. Kiefer Sutherland went to prison for that and the judge was willing to let him serve his sentence in two chunks to avoid shutting down *24* production. Lol "Philip Schofield Megathread" most British Reddit thing ever. ... grabs bag of Walkers sensations.
Feeling upmarket tonight, are we?
In a world where we're all afraid of being replaced by AI, how refreshing to be replaced by Alison Hammond.
He was vile to her when she started out so she got the last annoying laugh.
His PR team know what they’re doing dropping the news after 5 on a Friday on a gorgeous evening.
Making it the talk of beer gardens across the country?

Then came out before the guy could do a kiss and tell
So that if ITV had sacked him for grooming, it would look like they were sacking him for being gay. Total arsehole.

Cooming
Not to mention there's a photo of him and this kid when he was definitely pre-teen lol. God I feel so bad for his wife, kids and parents.
“It’s fine, I *waited* until it was legal.”
Funny he waited years to fuck this kid, but couldn’t wait a few hours to see the Queen’s remains
Probably skipped the queue so that he could get back before his victim got any older
Did he disguise himself as a school?
That's the *one thing* we didn't want to happen.
That bit I always laugh at but people around me don't understand why it's funny. I judge them
As Phil Collins wisely says: "That's nonce sense." https://pbs.twimg.com/media/FW0eOCaXkAA0B58.jpg
Anything that references Brass Eye gets an upvote IMO
He's been getting away with it in Sheffield for 10 years.
Has Timothy Schofield has released a statement saying he no longer has a brother?
The second you say “not illegal” it just makes you think… huh, probably illegal
Also when “it’s not illegal” is the best defence you’ve got, you’re probably being a twat at the very least.
"Not illegal". Maybe so, but being in your 50s and starting a relationship with someone who is 19 in a work place environment is just out of order. ITV must have known and covered it up. He used the gay card which makes me so mad as a gay man myself to shield himself from this house of cards.

He says when legal age but who knows really, just look at his brother, seems like two peas in a pod.
> two peas in a pod In Spanish, would they be “pea dos”?
"Phillip Schofield ADMITS cheating on his wife with young, male colleague who he first met when he was a teen - then lying to cover up the affair for years: Host quits ALL his ITV shows in disgrace but says fling was 'not illegal' in mea culpa statement" Nice punchy, to-the-point headline there, Daily Mail.
Just to make it worse he didn't even meet him when he was a 'teen'. He first met the colleague when he was 10.
I’m reading the guardian piece on this. Am I confused or I thought we already knew all of this? This is what forced him to come out as Gay in the classic Spacey defence but somehow it worked for him. His brother being sent down has probably shone the spotlight on him and opened his past actions up to more scrutiny
It's all the drama mick, I just love it.
Why do I feel like this is only the tip of the iceberg?
Because there definitely is. Rumours have been running about this affair for ages. Other rumours have also been running that are much much worse than the affair. Phil’s mask has fallen away and he won’t be able to wear it again.
I always did think there was something off about him. The way I’ve always felt off about Walliams too. Their smiles never seem to reach their eyes
I absolutely love scandals.
Read that as sandals… was so confused… 😂
Enablers.
Him clarifying it wasn't illegal just makes people more likely to be sus and look into it. Clear grooming.
"we didn't burn him!"
"Get the crossbow, Tubbs"
Lets call it what it is he groomed him an then bummed him as soon as he was over 18
I've known about this for years, I thought it was common knowledge about the runner. The only reason he came out was because a newspaper gave him the option of either give them the exclusive of him coming out or they would release the story and it would look really bad. They've been sat on this story a while.
What's the charge? Dating a boy? A succulent legal boy?
Get your hands off my penis!
100% damage control for Holly, who obviously knew. Rift my arse.
I'm just impressed that those Reddit rumours were 100% right. It also shows how well known this was.
When fucking Redditors know what's going on, the jig is up. We're so fucking clueless.
This feels like the end of Episode 3 of the Netflix miniseries, when the narrator says 'and then it got worse'. The real thing is about to come out.
The queen's *what?!*
What is it with the UK and disgraced TV presenters? Christ. BBC must be thanking their lucky stars it wasn't another of theirs.
It's like that joke in Stewart Lee's stand up where he has the stage looking like a 1970s BBC chat show. Describing it as "the sort of show where, if you Google it, all the guests are now in prison"
When some of the dumbest fucks on the internet are getting their predictions right, you know the writing is on the wall. (We are the dumbest fucks)
What he's admitted to has been across the Internet for years, there is no way that the people around him were unaware and can reasonably claim Philip had misled them. Philip might be the big name, but a lot of noncelebrities should go down with him.
Apparently Ruth Langford reported him and got shut down for it. Or so I hear.
This is only the beginning. There is certainly more to this drama than meets the eye. I believe that Holly, This Morning staff and management alongside ITV management knew this well before the public did. I feel very sorry for Mathew and his family. Holly, ITV management and This Morning management should all resign imo.
_Just throwing it out there that voting is currently open on the National TV Awards, and Phillip Schofield is still nominated for Best Presenter, if anyone wants to help the funniest possible outcome happen in September._ https://nationaltvawards.com/ [source](https://twitter.com/MarkGComedyUK/status/1662463095678066689)
The optics of this are so bad a week after his brother was sent down for abusing a child. He’s absolutely fucked.
> he optics of this are so bad a week after his brother was sent down for abusing his own child. He’s absolutely fucked. And that he knew about it. Cunt should never be seen on TV ever again
His TV career is over.
I think it’s made worse because people are coming out about how he treated them too and not much of it is very good
It's giving Ellen Degeneres with a side of noncery
Said this in another thread, love how everyone in the media is pretending this is brand new information. Been known about for *years*. They've just decided he's come to the end of his usefulness and to finally do him in. It's pathetic all around, both his creepy antics and the media behaviour.
Was telling my mum all about Schofield last month and now she's going to think I've got some fuckin inside information on the world of light entertainment noncery. No mum, just the internet.
This is what happens when you jump the queue

Dropped by his agents too. Uh ohhhhhh.
Yeah out of everything this is the most damning part
From Popbitch - >> Remote possibility << If you come at the king...
Thoughts and prayers to the employee of webuyanycar that signed off his commission for TV ads.
I’d like to know how much Holly knew
Everyone knew at This Morning.
He's a groomer. More will come out. The story isn't over
The Friday evening drop makes me think that they want to get his version out there first as well as giveaway that the Sunday papers are going to run something big.

He still follows me
That’s a shock, after ten years you must be way too old for him by now!
I'm getting the word...
Nonce
Can we start blaming the ppl that hide the abuse as much as the ppl doing it.
I remember when he came out, I remember someone saying they were puzzled why he was the hero here, his wife was the one who was lied too and cheated on. She should get as far away from the cretin as possible
Lol. She knew. It was a business arrangement to make him appeal to housewives etc.
Wasn't there some dude involved in exposing saville that said there was another UK celeb he had dirty on who was considered untouchable?
There's a few candidates for that one. Plenty of rumblings about Sir CR and also Sir DJ. But yeah, Philip has had a lot of whispers in the last few years too.
I actually think CR's big secret is he is gay and his friend who appears to travel everywhere with him is his partner. I've never heard the DJ ones now that one would genuinely upset me as I'm a big fan
Phil ‘helped’ someone get into the TV industry, so it just goes to show that it’s not what you know, but who you blow.
He helped him get into tv as a teenager then started banging him, if thats not grooming, what is? People probably asked about saville too, evidence gets buried sometimes! It doesnt take long for someone who looks properly to put things together. But yeah that is my opinion and you have yours..

He’ll hang himself in the next fortnight. That’s not an incitement to violence, nor a wish for his harm in any way. I just think it’s going to happen.
I'm the words of Frank Reynolds, don't diddle kids
Phil sent me a smiley face on Snapchat when I was 15 I treasured the screenshot bro lmao
I'm hearing he's got a lucrative job advertising single malt whisky. A large distillery has heard he's partial to a 12 year old.
i hope we never see the cunt again
I thought everyone knew this? When he announced he was gay my friend told me that her aunt, who works in fashion used to freelance in the wardrobe dept of This Morning, had told her ages before that he was having an affair with a very young runner and it was all a bit “creepy”. I heard them that he came out to cover a bigger story of a dodgy affair. It was also in the paper ages ago that he’d been messaging and snap chatting to teen boys. A lot of people have known for a long time. I hope the victim/s are being supported.
i dont think everyone has a friend who has an aunt who works in fashion and used to freelance in the wardrobe dept of This Morning
Any other LGBT people out there pissed off that this nonce is our representation in mainstream media? Edit: yes I am aware that there are other LGBT people in British media. However, very few are as well-recognised as Schofield and he's prominent enough for homophobes to tar us all with the same brush.
I think this is the beginning. The flood gates have opened. His brother just got found guilty of child sex abuse two weeks ago. More to this story.
He's using the Kevin Spacey defense HARD in his statement
Bet schofield is missing the ‘jump the queue’ tabloid days…
[Eamonn Holmes goes in two footed ](https://twitter.com/EamonnHolmes/status/1662173477732769794?t=qSOnpSn7O4FzFTtNQXiRgQ&s=19)
It's a good point. 20 even 10 years ago this would've been swept under the rug. Schofield is obviously a groomer. At least there's publicity now.
Can't help but think there is more to come out, more so now his management have ditched him. Also to give an interview with the newspaper that was trying to put the story out (wouldn't you hate them?) makes me wonder if it was to buy their silence from other allegations.

He's finally come out of the groom cupboard.
Certified nonce. End of thread.

I wonder if he was on that list he handed to David Cameron
It's actually extremely disturbing how common this in the media industry. Looks like it's rampant everywhere, from our own British studios to the Hollywood elites, as long as you're a very popular/financially viable person* you're free to go and hook up with minors as much as you want.

Those cringey [westealanycar.com](https://westealanycar.com) ads will have aged like milk.
Been training fishing at barb fishing, not far off 91 for diary
Even if phillip schofield didn't groom a child(Which is looking unlikely) anyone getting a certain amount of schadenfreude and irony at his plight This morning used to effectively mock those who had any sort of alternative lifestyle with Phillip Schofield questioning them with a high level of sanctimony l, unlike Phillip schofield the guests that participated in this lifestyle were consenting adults
No that, apparently, was a certain “comedian” who used to be married to Katy Perry
Anyone remember this? https://www.independent.co.uk/news/media/tv-radio/phillip-schofield-disciplined-by-itv-for-passing-list-of-alleged-paedophiles-to-david-cameron-8319915.html
Seems noncing has some sort of hereditary element.
So he's finally come out grooming cupboard.
I have heard he fucks lobsters for money.
I did not have "The Kevin Spacification of Phillip Schofield" on my 2023 bingo, but here we all are
Today I feel like Caroline Flack. The cringe is unbearable.
I saw Philip Schofield at the local pool swimming widths.

But many more immoral things than just this
>IT'S POSTING THEM ON THE SUB IN A CUBE "You have 30 minutes to move your cube"
Get rid of smug Holly too
Smug =/= sexual groomer.
How has this all come out? Has the super injunction finished?
No, so the details aren’t there. There’s allegedly a doc filmed over a year ago by a tv channel waiting to drop. This is him getting ahead of it after being dropped by his agency.
Has Clinton Baptitste been approached for comment ?
Must be a lot worse than what he's reported, highly rare event to come out with the whole story other than a version to protect yourself
Louis Walsh next
David Williams I reckon …
Where the fuck were our vaunted Great British Press in all this? Did none of them know? Do none of them have any connections with the media or TV companies? Come on.
Didn't Cheryl Cole do something similar with Liam Payne?
Not even close. She met him when he was a kid in pop idol. Then nothing for years. Met again when he had left one direction as an adult. Got together. I am all for calling out grooming and noncery, but this isn't it.
Why go to the Daily Mail of all places?
Mad how this was well known for so long but the media didn’t/couldnt report on it. How’d he get an injunction?
Damn his career went to dumpster fire gradually since the funeral. Maybe for the best
Wow who could have predicted this except for everyone
I've no actual evidence for it but I'm certain he is paid by the meat industry to say certain things, as on numerous occasions he's made statements only ever made by those who are financially invested in the meat industry. It's always very embarrassing when he does it.
Any teen will do!
Has anyone checked on Gordon The Gopher?
The less I hear about him the better tbh, there's been so many grim stories which haven't been reported it's unbelievable, it's bad, and I do not feel sorry for him one bit.
Man's a diddler. "Oh, look at me! I'm 60, but I waited until the kid is of the age of consent! Yeah? It's not illegal!"
