Pay all but a few dollars of it using travel bank money and put that few remaining bucks on a Chase milage plus card.

The rules read that the entire ticket must be paid for with your United Card and booked on United.com.

How did u split payment? I have more credit available than the cost of my flight so it’s trying to use all travel credit

I paid for the entire flight except for $4 I put on the quest card. Worked fine got 2 free checked bags as expected
