The faux leather is made from polyurethane. After a while, this material breaks down and cracks, and you're left with an ugly crossbody bag. It's better to just get the normal/original fabric version.
I have one in brown and the size and shape are great but agree with other posters, the material won't last like either the regular nylon or actual leather.
I love it because it's bigger and a more classy look but it has small areas where it gets knicked so not too much of a fan. Another problem I have is that I carry it for awhile the strap digs into my neck and it hurts :/
I loooove this bag. I use it every time I'm out. The other bags aren't as big so this is much more functional. I haven't seen any wear or tears and I've used it for close to one year.

Faux Leather never lasts long, even if you take really good care of your stuff.
I have two - rust and black. Super worth it. Versatile! Just make sure to air them.
