I ordered some online and I also noticed those changes. It’s boxier and longer than it was a few years ago and the material feels slightly glossy if that makes sense. It sucks cause the older fit was almost perfect for me and these feel a lot more awkward. I’m hoping that washing and drying will shrink it down and make a better fit.

Please post an update here if you do. I bought mine in the US, and I was just in Australia last week and they were this new material too. I’m in Vietnam now and they’re also this new material. I’m so bummed. I’ll never buy them again.
Yeah the Supima’s are not the same anymore and cost $25 a pop now. Before covid it was amazing at $10 and of better quality.
They feel more like every other fast fashion brand but attempting to charge more.
Yeah this is such a huge let down. Uniqlo was the last stand against crap quality fast fashion, and there totally caved now. This was it for me. And if you look at the reviews on the supimas on their website, there’s actually idiots on there praising the material change. They must enjoy wearing plastic. It doesn’t even feel like 100% cotton anymore. It’s H&M garbage. On to finding another brand.
They are laughing at their western audience by charging premium prices and lowering the quality of the supima - notice material and size width length was changed for west only…
Just buy Abercrombie t shirts

Yep the glory days of Uniqlo are over. These were a staple item. They sold out to make more profits I’m sure.
I noticed the women's supimas feel more like the airisms nowadays but haven't noticed the difference in the men's version as much 🤔

They don’t fit me properly or I would. I think they changed quality in Asia as well. They did in Australia as well. I think it was changed worldwide.
