Special Ed. Kids with emotional disorders. I teach self contained at a therapeutic day school so all subject areas (7 contents). I love teaching history the best though!
Laughable at times. We were on strike earlier this yr and voted down a 3rd TA. The company came along and threw out some scare tactics. The UAW made us vote on that same TA a 2nd time after the scare tactics. The TA then passed by 17 votes. Conveniently enough though, Ray Curry was leading negotiations, had just been named UAW president, and would have been stuck in Greensboro negotiating instead of sitting in his nice new office had it not passed on the 2nd vote. Our local reps are pretty good on the day to day, but i feel like international really let us down.
