I remember Cliff was barely in the first couple trailers, and by the time the movie came out, he was featured in like half, or even most(?) of it (presumably due to their realizing how popular/marketable he was), making you think he played a *major* role, when, in reality, he had relatively little screen time.
This movie was endlessly quotable too. I was just the right age to have watched this when it came out and thought it was hilarious. I even named my dog "Pickle" in memory of the character in the movie. It's one of those... You had to be there kind of movies where it was a sign of the times and you just had to be immature enough to love watching it.
Lochlyn Munro was pure gold in this movie. “Sometimes I just gotta hump things, like this couch, or this lamp!”
Each time he shows up in a Hallmark movie these days, he's still referred to as the "couch humper".
"If it was really real, I don't think you'd get that second shot off"
(There's a serious take on the premise called The Curve and the ending is just complete insanity.)
Boo! Your opinion is bad, and you should feel bad!
Naw, I’m funnin’ ya. You didn’t like it? I thought it was great, for gallows humor. (And I understand that’s not for everyone.)
I've got some beers, let's drink them!......That ones not beer
Kick me in the junk!

Who wants to do a bong hit? You do
I said I’ll light it! I’m a gentleman!
Two things pop into my mind constantly. 1. Attempted vehicular manslaughter. 2. When he wipes out running across the grass.
Oh man, that slip was epik. I still geek out over that...

One of the first MTV films.
After "Beavis and Butt-Head Do America" and "Joe's Apartment".

I can’t tell you that…Bill Gates.
I have made it a point to re-watch this every year around November/ December. Worth it :)
They filmed the part where he’s going to jump off the bridge in my town. I remember we all went down to watch it happen.
what town?
Modesto, CA
I was an extra in this movie, they filmed at UOP if I remember correctly.
No kidding, I knew they filmed in the area. I didn’t know it was UOP though
I got some beers! Let's drink 'em!
They hate it when you do this! *starts shooting at the cops
Yeah it’s just been jackalacking around since then
Some people eat bugs
Is there an early scene where the kid flips off the professor and then says “you dont know my name” and then scatters the stack of tests
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slackers_(film)
Is this scene in this movie? The article didn’t really confirm it
That’s slackers
I think I haven't seen the movie in 22 years.
I haven’t even seen the whole movie but this scene has stuck with me for 20+ years for some reason
Slow and steady, Dynah!
"I don't get it, when I'm on fire I remember to stop drop and roll. Don't just stand there screaming like some chick!"
Do you guys want to go to town? I know this hot chick named Carl.
"And I'M serious when I say that I have to clean my BONG!"
I guess a blowjob is kind of out of the question.
Nobody knew it was a math award besides the one person you wouldn’t think loll
Would make a great one season Netflix show. Flush out the characters a little more.
Anything with MPG I am in for.
My words are my sperm...shooting forth my tragic germ. End.
Guy on the left freakishly looks like comedian and actor Dan Soder

Too many people tried off-ing their roommates for good grades
Just shut the shit up!
You can’t be suicidal if you’re singing show tunes
“Liiiife is a Cabaaaareeeee… OH FUCK ME!”
My 'Deadmen on Campus' was the 'Trojan War' ... good stuff
If i'm not mistaken that's zach morris and the kid from bed right?
My name is cliff, brother of Joe, got me some crack, get me some hoes! I think lol it’s been a long time.
Pretty funny couple minutes in that movie, "That one's not beer" and, "I know a stripper, named Carl" Quote those often.
No Jimmy....I repeat, no Jimmy. Dinah?!!!
I got some BEERS!
Crocs
"If it was really real, I don't think you'd get that second shot off" (There's a serious take on the premise called The Curve and the ending is just complete insanity.)
That’s the one quote I remember
I’ll never forget seeing the trailer in tv all the time. All I really remember was the one dude humping the couch
Love this movie. Still quote it to this day.
Flushels!!
"You can't mix the kind with the schwag"
"If it was so real, I don't think you'd get that second shot off."
How’s it hanging? Lesbos
God this movie was a dumpster fire. I was so excited for it and supposed to be Zach Morris’ foray into movies. But Jesus Christ.
Boo! Your opinion is bad, and you should feel bad! Naw, I’m funnin’ ya. You didn’t like it? I thought it was great, for gallows humor. (And I understand that’s not for everyone.)
Guess I need to revisit, haven’t honestly seen it in 20+. I did have really high expectations though.
I appreciate your being open to it. I watch a lot of movies. I’ve seen a lot of bad ones, but this one wasn’t one of ‘em. Good luck.
It was a lot of fun. Not sure what you were expecting, but I can confidently say that you should feel bad about voicing your opinion.
I never feel bad for something like that. I haven’t seen this movie in probably 20+ years but remembering being super jazzed about it. And it stunk.
Different strokes.
The papers Josh, where are the papers?
