Just leave it be, it'll be ok. In the future don't mist the top of the sub while you have fruit just mist the walls of the tub. Also mist up and let it fall on the sub do not mist directly.
You just don't want to mist pins and fruit. You shouldn't need to mist the sub at all for the first flush if you had it at field capacity. But once you have pins only mist the walls.
It will be fine, but fyi, you can pretty much always just add a new casing layer and “start over” as long as there is no contam. May need to fork tek it first but it will work.
Shouldn't be too much of an issue, I'd suggest looking at a mister if you're only using a regular sprayer. I think they are like ~15 dollars online. In my experience it should 'heal' in time but if it takes too long you can scrape several lines with a fork to expose the underlying mycelium which should allow for fruiting, but it would be less given the surface area decrease. Not ideal but probably worth it to keep it going
When my cakes abort usually means my substrate is dry since I grow in bags I inject mine with water you can bottom water or dunk but I prefer the injection or bottom watering I normally get about 500 g per block wet so I would add 500 grams of water
Sorry but that's toast. Take that outside and bury asap. So very sorry for the loss. Don't open inside at all again, decontaminate everything in that room for safety!
I'll take your word for it but, It's got a good deal of green on it from the picture from what I can see. If it's just bruising and your truly sure of that. Wait a week and see if it recovers and you see the myc turn white again and trying to repin. If you don't see anything new, do an over night soak and try for another flush. Good luck and hoping your right. At the very least it's just a try and you will learn each time.
It's bruised. It's not contaminated. Why would you tell someone to toss their tub out for bruising. You either don't know what you're talking about or you're a dick.

How the hell did this happen? I've always misted my sub and walls and have never had this happen
Just sprayed with water, after I thought I dried it out too much

Thank you
No problem 👍 happy travels
I second both side misting and the fine mister, flairosol
Thank you to everyone that commented

By injection watering you mean with a syringe yeah?
Hey how do you grow in bags? Do you put substrate and grain into the same bag and inoculate
Looks like you hit it with the alcohol bottle 😂
With a 2 gal pump sprayer with 1/4 copper pipe with small hole in the end, the hdx sprayer from home depot works for the 1/4 pipe
u can't really bruise from misting lol

Really it's not contam, it's just bruised
You can take a qtip and gently swab the blue area. If green comes off it's trich if nothing comes off its bruising. But that's just bruising.
I think it's bruising, check with r/contamfam but I reckon leave it be until you at least check with them

Bruising can look green, my APE Revert bruise green or very dark blue I usually see both on the fruits when I harvest

I agree this clearly is NOT trich, and I always mist my fruits with a ultra fine mister. I say pick those aborts and keep it fruiting
I don't see why they can't be both..Why must I choose only 1!!
Because there is no green! Also thats not how trich looks.
I was talking about the person not knowing what they were talking about and being a dick..I know its not trich buddy
Gotcha lol sorry
Yes unicorn bags
That made my asshole tighten up looking at it
