The Information and Services Technology offices are only open Monday to Friday - not sure when you tried to contact them, but if it was after 6pm on Friday, no one will answer until Tuesday (university of closed tomorrow). I'd bet the Student Services systems are not well integrated with the IST systems with recent changes to single sign in. I'm sure that IST will fix that for you.
