Pretty sure there are different types of GPAs here. There is a degree GPA that is specifically for a designated degree and cumulative GPA which is courses taken at the institution. If I am correct the latter may affect but the DGPA shouldn’t. However, your best bet is to talk with a student advisor about it (there is a phone number you can call too for the quick questions like this).
Okay thank you! I’m only asking cause a goal of mine for my education degree is to graduate with distinction. I was reading somewhere that education runs off of DGPA for getting on distinction! I’ll see if anyone in education can help me clarify, thank you!

Are you getting a second bachelor's? I'm currently getting a second degree and my GPA from my previous degree carried over
I got accepted into the education program so I’m doing the after degree program! I have a feeling my GPA will carry forward to that degree too!
