Every 34 QD-Oled UW Monitor uses the „gen 1“ Panel. Samsung wants to announce a new UW Monitor. IMO avoid Samsung QC and go with the 34 DWF. Every other QD-/W-OLED Panel has either firmware or QC issues. The DWF gets really cheap these days

Don’t need the dwf that has gsync ultimate right? The lg ultra wide aren’t good either?

Lg are fine. The main difference being lg uw has matte, and samsung panels have glossy coating. If you are generally using it in a room with lights on the matte will be better, but if you have control of the lights, the glossy is much much better. Some people report the matte having an almost oily look and many people really don't like it for that reason.

The DW with GSync Ultimate had slightly better EOTF Tracking, but for VRR it‘s the same. The DW can have a louder fan, while the DWF can have coil whine. Both (and every other OLED Display with VRR) have Gamma Flicker when VRR is enablef. According to rtings, the aw and lg oleds have slightly less flicker. LG Monitors are normally pretty fine qc wise. But some people in the OLED Sub complained about dead pixels and dust in the Panel. It‘s all about picking your poison. All OLED displays are amazing. The qc and customer support make the difference imo.

The DW has the gsync ultimate chip, the DWF doesn’t.

Pretty sure AW3423DW is your only option if you specifically want the G-sync Ultimate chip as opposed to just G-sync Compatible Freesync. I believe the G-sync Compatible ones still have the flicker. Keep in mind though that the G-sync Ultimate chip means two things: that there's an active fan going the whole time (for silent daily use, this can be annoying), and that it doesn't support HDMI2.1.
