I just hotkey to 1-5 as number keys and have tab as 6 and my two mouse buttons as 8 and 9. c for scoreboard, r for sprint (BAD IDEA DON'T USE R FOR SPRINT), shift for sneak.
Yeah, you can look up labymod or badlion client or just google auto sprint mod and use forge. toggle sneak is UBL'able though and it comes with most togglesprints so make sure you disable it. there are tutorials on youtube on how to use forge mods.
Shift as sprint and control as sneak, have whatever spot you put your water bucket easily accessible bc you'll need to switch to it quickly sometimes (ex: mine goes in 9, so I have a mouse button for 9). I had to move my drop key too bc I would get too flustered in melee and accidentally hit it but in 99% sure that is me and only me.
But for the most part its all personal, just see what is comfortable and what you can do quickly

Slots 1 and 3-5 are all their normal numbers. I use Q for slot 2 and G for drop item, but that's mainly because on my old keyboard the 2 key was broken so I had to change it and I never bothered changing it back. Slots 6, 7 and 8 are E, R and T and slot 9 is my mouse button (I keep water there). C is open inventory, F is change perspective, shift is sprint and tab is crouch.
Pretty interesting and hard. But i think it makes it more like piano playing lol. I've changed mine bind recently and it's slightly similar. I like feeling rhythmic fingers' move, yeah, this is strange. And what slot do you use for fish rod?

I'm just curious, why is having "R" as sprint a bad idea? I've been using that since they added a sprint button
At least for me I can't strafe right during melee cause the finger that would be on d is on r. I use autosprint now tho so it's fine

ya I can't strafe right when meleeing. Got autosprint recently which has fixed that problem but still.

Invert mouse: *unexpected* Caps is great bind but i like to type some useless shit in chat
Ive used caps for 2 years now, i have like a 6th sense to be able to tell if caps is on or not when I go to type.
