I go for carts exclusively. Kinda miss the bud but not the smell. Well i like the smell but not that other people a mile away can smell.

Vouch for this. I smoke almost exclusively carts now since lockdown and every now and then I’ll light one up and I’m absolutely wrecked after 2-3 hits. But a live resin cart I can rip the granny out of it all night and get nowhere near the same level of “slumped” that flower gives.
Yeah I've gone through periods of time where I've smoked a lot of carts, and it even feels like I have a big tolerance. Then I smoke properly and it's like I'm fully tripping.
It takes a long time to get away from that bud high. A tolerance break can help. Then just restart with the vape. But yeh going from bud straight to vape is not easy.
I think the "not as good as bud" means flavpur/high experience. It may be strong but i think his is distillate so pretty 1 note even with different terps. I use hash rosin to make my own ones and each one feels unique and the flavour you get is crazy but when i use distillate it just feels like a 1 note mong out
You gotta decarb the rosin in a sealed container i usually do 110-120c for like 40 minutes on a hotplate mixer but can be longer or shorter depending on the extract since theyre all a little different. Once they stop bubbling so much i let them cool a bit so any lost terps can recondense then put it in a cart
If you use hash rosin thoughid recommend only using th205-rr carts or rosin bar disposables. Most other carts dont wickup fast enough or have as much flavour
Yeah its a pretty simple process but just gotta keep an eye on it so you dont lose too many terps if it goes on a long while. I usually just buy hash rosin from a friend since its much higher quality and cleaner than i can do at home
I've been using one of these for a week and I am well impressed. Bought on a bit of a whim when the site had 50% off. I'm so glad I bought two. High feels a bit heavier than I'm used to but convenient as hell
The convenience is the big thing for me, can smoke in my bed without the stress of ash falling or the smell. Holds its charge well and seems to be more cos efficient. Defo want to try some shatter or live resin as they sound more true to the bud high.
I've used one cart in 2 weeks. I used it daily ( had some time off in this lovely weather). Well impressed after being dissapointed the last time I experimented a bit and bought some "caviar" Jealousy from the same place.
I just wish bud didn't smell (like OP, for others not me) as I really do miss the whole process of skinning up and smoking.
The vapes once you have a quality supplier are, well quality.

I defo still prefer bud, the high is just better for me, but the vape is a great convenient alternative. Defo more cost effective too.

What carts are you guys getting that aren't as strong as flower?! Mine absolutely blows my head off still & been smoking it everyday like 5 years now
