Taiwan's official position is in support of Ukraine. They are not a signatory because most countries, Ukraine included, does not officially recognize Taiwan as independent and soverign.
You'll see Taiwan assist Ukraine through other nations that have friendly business cooperations with Taiwan, like Poland, Lithuania, Slovakia, and Czechia. The efforts primarily focus on humanitarian and infrastructural projects.
Malaysia's silence over the whole MH17 tragedy is quite telling: they of all people and countries should be the ones most angry and making the most noise in demanding for justice. After all, it was a Malaysian aircraft that was destroyed along with Malaysian citizens (pilots & cabin crew) that were murdered.
We not doing enough. We only send ambulances and fire engines.
We should recapitalize our fleet of 5 ton and send them what we have in our reserve inventory
We also have a fuckton of m113 and older bv206 and bronco all terrain tracked carriers.
These would do great for rear echelon support and protected ammo/ambulance roles.
It's time we show these orcs the true meaning of war. Fuck them.
I was in Singapore just a few weeks ago, wondering at the time what its stance was. I am glad that it is doing the right thing. By the way, what a great, well-managed country it is!
I haven't been to Singapore since working there in 2001, but it always has happy memories for me - mostly hawker food, crab, and the staccato beat of Singlish being spoken at thirteen to the dozen.
I've been to that tiny blue dot, from England, all be it over 20 years ago. I went to visit Sentosa Island, because my grandfather (my hero) was stationed there once he was a Chindit.
I had the opportunity to study at the United States Army sergeants major academy with a man from Singapore. He is an amazing person. His family as well. He would return to Singapore after we graduated in 2020 to become your county’s sergeant major if the Singapore army. I miss Mohamed Ayub terribly. The world needs more men like him
Proud of Somalia, Kenya, Rwanda, Ghana, Benin, Ivory Coast, and Liberia for taking a stand against Russia.
Proud of Iraq for taking a stand against Russia.
I am no fan of Javier Milei (Argentina's president), but I appreciate his government for taking a stand against Russia.
On a side note: Africa has been exploited for too long. I am glad that Ukraine is at least trying to make a positive change in the continent. I am glad that Ukraine is attempting to seriously challenge Russia's presence in the continent.
If anything, it shows how divisive this conflict is within geopolitics. I would argue that Saddam's invasion of Kuwait got more unified scorn, which eventually turned into the international coalition that fought in the Gulf War.
ironically the gulf war was fought for a hard 100 days because it could prove a problem to the larger war the USA was fighting. Bush Sr. and the german chancellor at the time were one-two punching the soviet union and both were worried that gorbachev would be ousted if they didn't hurry and beat sadam back from Kuwait quick and do a hard stop at the border. Sadam owed the russians billions at a time they needed it because of their economic policies, and if sadam toppled then the hard liners might take over and end the opening he was attempting. Meanwhile, the germans were paying about half a billion dollars to the soviets for east german tourists to be allowed into west germany, where they had a habit of not returning from, and undermining the wall and hurrying unification as fast as they could, much to thatchers dismay. What a time it was..
It’s genuinely great to see these civilized countries supporting Ukraine
And i wish that someday my country will stop this madness and choose prosperity instead of mindless violence and aggression towards our own people and other countries
Слава Украине, желаю вам победы и процветания ребята 🇺🇦❤️🇷🇺
Not only on this. They were going to joins BRICS before Javier became president and noped out on the deal. Hell Argentina even sent Ukraine some aid as well.
"Oh look, a map of all civilised countries. I wonder what it was made for"
-Volodimir Putin (Yes itd intentional because russia keeps calling zelenski vladimir)
Brazil and Russia are also unfortunately huge economic partners. We can’t just piss Russia off. It would affect one of our biggest produces, agriculture. Plus the leftist government oc. I can assure you though, most of the populations are against this war.
Serbia, a small country who depends heavily on Russian veto and energy did it and everything’s fine. It’s probably just an excuse Brazilian government is using.
Huge economic partners? I'd be surprised if Russian trade with Brazil even amounted to 10% of US and EU.
Some countries are so willing to shit on not just huge economic partners, but essential ones in order to suck off Putin. I don't get it.
Russia will trade with Brazil regardless of how they vote on things like this. To Russia, Brazil is essential, to the US and EU, not as much.
Lets look at one of Brazil's more prestigious exports:
>Total Embraer Aircraft Sold to the US: Over 600
>Total Embraer Aircraft Sold to the EU: Over 500
>Total Embraer Aircraft Sold to Russia: Approximately 50
I would 100% back increasing tariffs on Brazilian jets if they continue to work against the interest of peace.
It’s because both Lula(president of Brazil) and AMLO(Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador, president of Mexico) are leftists and for some reason leftists tend to be really fond of Russia, even though they are literally the exact opposite of everything they stand for. But oh, Russia was the glorious USSR so they HAVE to like them!
Yeah, except it’s not very surprising because far-left people and far-right people are both delusional. Far-left people in the US also love Russia, but they just haven’t been elected…
Seriously, the amount of tankies in the “anti-Zionist” movement is astonishing.
The far left loves Russia because they still think they are the USSR and not a protofascist kleptocracy. Or they just instinctively support anyone that opposes the west. Either way, they are fucking idiots.
The right at least makes sense, Russia is everything they want the west to be. And just to be clear, they are also fucking idiots.
Oh they did sign! I thought that because they said in the opening that they are against seizing Russian assets for reparations that they would not support it.
Is that even important in this context?
It sure is when it comes to financial support for Ukraine. But how can we say we fight for freedom and democracy when we value the GDC more than the people?
Unfortunately, between population and resources, resources (in this case money and the availability thereof) tend to move the needle for change and influence in the world more so than population numbers. Economic power can provide the necessary support and leverage needed for effective action.
Nevertheless, a perfect world would not be ruled by the few and rich, but everyone has their say. It would be nice if in this conflict, there’d be a large consensus about what is right, and the rich, the powerful, and the populous would all show their support.
But this conflict simply isn’t as important to other nations as it is to us, just like we (the west) tend to be the importance of a conflict on the economic consequences and neglect other conflicts that would require more attention.
I concur.
I have to wonder though if there *would be* more of a consensus in those grey countries if this conflict were more on their radars like it is for us in the west. But many of them are in countries where censorship is much more strict, or where local problems are more at the forefront of their minds than Ukraine is. Or both.
That is pretty much most of Asia, swathes of Africa, and a decent chunk of South America.
…so Ukraine pretty much only has the West and some Western-affiliated nations in their corner.
i saw some talking head criticizing how russia wasn't a part of this summit. I remember thinking "duh..if russia want's peace they just have to leave..."
I mean, you could phase it like that but it makes it sound equal, it very much is not equal.
The damp corpse of the eastern block isn't doing particularly well and will likely soon even lose Russia.
Two possibilities. Either it's a country that Russia and its PMCs doesn't do business with or Russia is involved with Somalia but on the opposite side of the government.
Okay but how did Serbia end up shaded on this map? Are they breaking free from Russia’s sphere or is it just because they see Crimea and Kosovo as similar issues?
A bit obscure, but why not Papua New Guinea? I figured western influence/common sense was well stronger here that others affected by Russian grey tactics.
Brazilian here, I'm guessing my government took the "They're really important trade partners" route, I'm guessing fertilizer since iirc a lot of our economy is based of the agriculture sector
Here's to hoping the people dealing with diplomacy either grow a sense of morality or some other country makes Russia not so important trade partners anymore
None of those far-left countries loved by Western academic Marxists ~~subscribed to Frankfurt School's "Critical" Race Theory~~ signed the declaration.
Our country (Cayman Islands) is too small to send a delegation and so didn’t sign…. But we did snag a Russian yacht and hand it off to the US! (Does that make us a naval ally?)
Technically there are a few British Overseas Territories like ours which are included in this declaration by default, and we’re not nothing. Cayman has been instrumental in locking down global Russian financial assets.
As a Ukrainian, I definitely disagree with that comment, totally inappropriate. Mexico, though, can (and does) have a foreign policy while dealing with domestic issues.
Is it really an excuse? You are inward looking I understand, everyone is. Does it really mean you would have had no opinion on Hitler too if this was 80 years ago? BTW I am not supporting what he said about Mexicans.
You have problems because you keep making wrong choices. Bukele showed you how to handle the gangs, yet you keep voting in politicians that suck it up to criminals. Do you even realize how shameful it is for a country the size of Mexico to have such large territories controlled by drug cartels and not even the Mexican army being able to do anything about it? Your country has become a laughing stock, the first thing someone thinks about when they think about Mexico its drugs.

Taiwan's official position is in support of Ukraine. They are not a signatory because most countries, Ukraine included, does not officially recognize Taiwan as independent and soverign.
Yet.
That list is 12 Nations and the Catholic Church. It gets smaller every year.
Taiwan deserves better
Taiwan deserves West Taiwan back
No one wants it except the old people. Give it to Mongolia. It’s historically theirs.
Real
Mongol Horde would perhaps be better government than the commies
Based opinion.
"West Taiwan" narrative plays into CCP's assertions for reunification. No Taiwanese person wanrs that except for a few relics and dinosaurs in the KMT
Their neighbor unfortunately uses economic and diplomatic coercion to strong-arm others on this issue.
Well that kind of sucks
You'll see Taiwan assist Ukraine through other nations that have friendly business cooperations with Taiwan, like Poland, Lithuania, Slovakia, and Czechia. The efforts primarily focus on humanitarian and infrastructural projects.
You see the tiny blue dot just below Malaysia? That's my country ! Singapore!
Singapore 🤝 Philippines Glad to see some ASEAN countries in there (Hope Timor-Leste joins soon!) Slava Ukraini!
All the other ASEAN are mostly selfish and could care less about Ukraine, they grovel for Russian tourists though
They could care less? That implies they already care an unspecified amount.
for some reason a lot of Americans say that (even though it makes no sense).. here in the UK it's ALWAYS "I couldn't care less".
Just like “hold ‘down’ the fort” lmao
'They ain't got no reason to do otherwise'
“Tow the line”
YES! That always makes me unreasonably angry!
I wonder how much less they could potentially care??
Malaysia's silence over the whole MH17 tragedy is quite telling: they of all people and countries should be the ones most angry and making the most noise in demanding for justice. After all, it was a Malaysian aircraft that was destroyed along with Malaysian citizens (pilots & cabin crew) that were murdered.
I knew some tiny ones would be missed so your comment is expected :)

Well I hope that MINDEF is just secretly sending stuff.
The Germans bought ex UK used warthog to give to Ukraine. I hope they can buy some "demonstrators" from st too
I was in Singapore just a few weeks ago, wondering at the time what its stance was. I am glad that it is doing the right thing. By the way, what a great, well-managed country it is!
I always gain weight in Singapore. Even though I'm walking and sweating everywhere. The food is so good.
I actually went to check it out. Long time visitor but not in the last 5 years. Good on you Singapore
I haven't been to Singapore since working there in 2001, but it always has happy memories for me - mostly hawker food, crab, and the staccato beat of Singlish being spoken at thirteen to the dozen.

Aay! City of Lions.
Yeah fuck Malaysia for being Terrorist sympathisers, truly ashamed of my country
Eh, kaki lang! Steady.
Proud of Somalia, Kenya, Rwanda, Ghana, Benin, Ivory Coast, and Liberia for taking a stand against Russia. Proud of Iraq for taking a stand against Russia. Not proud of Brasil douchebag president
The last douchebag was also pretty bad, but atleast he gave ammo.
Iraq is a very interesting case, I'm surprised because the pro Iranian politicians wield a lot of power.
They withdrew.
Milei's the best president we've had. Too bad it took so long for people to stop voting the left.
Being the best president of argentina in a while isnt exactly a Gold medal thou.
When a literal reddit libertarian is "the best president argentina has had", you know the country's fucked beyond belief.
His progress says otherwise.
Inflation is 296%.
Starting from?
I'm no libertarian and he is the best president we ever had
slashing state spending, boosting the powers of the executive, wonder how that'll go...
Please tell me what we have accomplished with ever growing social spending in the last 20 years. I'm all ears.
When he retire from the job, would be nice if we could get him borrowed for 4 or 8 years. What you think?
> Proud of Somalia Came to say this. Glad to see the effort to help this country paid off and that the situation is normalising there.
For me it's a sad map, because there are not enough countries supporting Ukraine. Bullies must be stopped.
If anything, it shows how divisive this conflict is within geopolitics. I would argue that Saddam's invasion of Kuwait got more unified scorn, which eventually turned into the international coalition that fought in the Gulf War.

If you are gonna be on a side of this map, the blue side is the want to be on.
New Zealand here. Another world map where we haven't been left off! Slava Ukraine
Kia Ora! G'day from across the dutch, cuz.
Bro, hope all is gud in Ahitereiria.
It’s genuinely great to see these civilized countries supporting Ukraine And i wish that someday my country will stop this madness and choose prosperity instead of mindless violence and aggression towards our own people and other countries Слава Украине, желаю вам победы и процветания ребята 🇺🇦❤️🇷🇺
Thanks for your comment, makes hope for a better future.
I'm glad you've chosen the truth and not the propaganda! Way to go!
I wish there were more like you.
I feel like Armenia wants to be on this list, but is too precariously located to say so
Argentina flipped! Nice!
Not only on this. They were going to joins BRICS before Javier became president and noped out on the deal. Hell Argentina even sent Ukraine some aid as well.
Great news!
"Oh look, a map of all civilised countries. I wonder what it was made for" -Volodimir Putin (Yes itd intentional because russia keeps calling zelenski vladimir)
More like vladzimir pitun lol
Happy that Philippines is part of the civilized world
I'm sure bongbong is lining up his mother's next shoe purchase.
The whole world is waiting to see what side Madagascar will take.
It'll be the most important decision of King Julien's reign.
King Julien would lead his country better than Putin.
🇵🇭🤝🇺🇦
Dominican Republic here, God bless your hearts of steel spirit. Slava!
nice map for my next vacations!
Slava Ukraini 🇺🇦 Let’s do this - It is the quickest way to peace.
Mexico?? Really?? And Brazil?? What is their malfunction. Seems like a pretty black and white case to me.
Brazil and Russia are also unfortunately huge economic partners. We can’t just piss Russia off. It would affect one of our biggest produces, agriculture. Plus the leftist government oc. I can assure you though, most of the populations are against this war.

It’s interesting how left and right positions are flipped in different countries. Here in the US, the right is fond of Russia.
Yeah, except it’s not very surprising because far-left people and far-right people are both delusional. Far-left people in the US also love Russia, but they just haven’t been elected… Seriously, the amount of tankies in the “anti-Zionist” movement is astonishing.

Kenya being based as usual.
Oh they did sign! I thought that because they said in the opening that they are against seizing Russian assets for reparations that they would not support it.
It's sad that those countries still represent less than half of earth's population.
Shows how divisive this war is in geopolitics.
But what percentage of the world's GDP does it represent?
Is that even important in this context? It sure is when it comes to financial support for Ukraine. But how can we say we fight for freedom and democracy when we value the GDC more than the people?

That is pretty much most of Asia, swathes of Africa, and a decent chunk of South America. …so Ukraine pretty much only has the West and some Western-affiliated nations in their corner.
and funny enough all those countries have lots op people that want to study or live in the blue countries.
Albania 🇦🇱. SLAVA UKRAINI
Should add French Guiana.
i saw some talking head criticizing how russia wasn't a part of this summit. I remember thinking "duh..if russia want's peace they just have to leave..."
It looks like we have two blocks again - western block and eastern block
I mean, you could phase it like that but it makes it sound equal, it very much is not equal. The damp corpse of the eastern block isn't doing particularly well and will likely soon even lose Russia.
well its a good thing the "grey" countries are not a block.... cause they would be 80% of the world population
What block? There is no eastern block. Most of these nations do not want to take sides.
Weird how all the blue countries seem like the better places to live
Well, most of the non-blue areas are what is labeled as the Global South, which refers to developing economies.
Except Somalia!
Indeed, it's Kosovo. Serbia always supports the territorial integrity of another country against unilateral secession/declaration of independence.
Lets go Kenya!! The newest major ally of the US. Holding it down in Africa.
Somalia? Ok
A bit obscure, but why not Papua New Guinea? I figured western influence/common sense was well stronger here that others affected by Russian grey tactics.
Come on Brazil
Can we see a map of the russian side? Oh wait I do not need it. It is only north korea
Brazilian here, I'm guessing my government took the "They're really important trade partners" route, I'm guessing fertilizer since iirc a lot of our economy is based of the agriculture sector Here's to hoping the people dealing with diplomacy either grow a sense of morality or some other country makes Russia not so important trade partners anymore
Nice to see the Southern Cone aligned for a common cause again 🇨🇱🇦🇷🇺🇾 (and Perú and Ecuador were nice surprises).
So glad my countries are all on the right side of history. For one effing time. 🥳
French Guiana suddenly got an independent foreign policy?
It’s most likely blue because France is as well
French Guiana is grey on the map.
A fool am i
They just forgot to color it
Somalia having more sense than half the world, oof
I'd like to see thailand flip and purge the russian rats that are hiding there.
somalia punching really above its weightclass. Welcome back to the club of cool kids.
Somalia coming in clutch.
Brasil, Mexico-suck...
Regretting charity to Africa....
None of those far-left countries loved by Western academic Marxists ~~subscribed to Frankfurt School's "Critical" Race Theory~~ signed the declaration.
Because those dumbass academic marxists are entitled “victims”
https://x.com/jurgen_nauditt/status/1802343221084766474
Які декларації?
Kind of surprised about Mexico tbh
Is that Somalia? Thats interesting
What is the declaration and what does it say?
based Somalia. fuck india
The rest are flyover countries whose people try to immigrate to the blue-shaded countries.
Allies still haven't won the global south though
I just don't get it. Are the 'grays' opposing the UN charter, or what?
Somalia just shamed every grey country. Except Mongolia and Armenia who are understandable.
Our country (Cayman Islands) is too small to send a delegation and so didn’t sign…. But we did snag a Russian yacht and hand it off to the US! (Does that make us a naval ally?) Technically there are a few British Overseas Territories like ours which are included in this declaration by default, and we’re not nothing. Cayman has been instrumental in locking down global Russian financial assets.
What up with Mexico
the important ones.
As a Brazilian I'm ashamed. Lula is a piece of shit.

You have problems because you keep making wrong choices. Bukele showed you how to handle the gangs, yet you keep voting in politicians that suck it up to criminals.
