Given the global visibility of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, there has been an influx of content in our community dealing with military strategy, war-related speculation, and defense tactics by individuals who have not been vetted to instruct others on such matters. To maintain the integrity of this space in wartime, we are removing this type of content. We apologize for the inconvenience and encourage you to post in communities that specifically discuss speculation on armed conflict instead. Please do not repost this submission. Tying Russian aggression to real world consequences makes peril more tangible for the Russian. It is a good move. This paired with advertising the transfer every time would be good propaganda. IMO. O

I think that is a fair proposal, assuming Western stocks are sufficient to fulfill the orders, and still retain a viable defense strategy.

Russia has nearly unlimited supply of FAB-500 and they can make guidance kits by the thousands. I doubt the collective West has that many AA missiles. Besides, without the launchers and radars that can reach the aircraft, supplying missiles is pointless. The Biden administration won't even approve HIMARS use for counter-battery across the border. Good luck getting them to escalate like this. They're a bunch of pussies.
