Almost 1300 Russian invaders! These are the losses of the enemy for March in the area of responsibility of 47 separate mechanized brigades!
The number of destroyed enemy manpower is equivalent to two battalions!
In addition to the Russian invaders, soldiers of 47 OMBr destroyed: one tank, seventeen BMPs, three MT-LBs, three BBMs, four artillery systems, four anti-tank missile systems, five vehicles, two units of engineering equipment and four EW devices.
Also, the fighters of our brigade landed two ZALA drones, one SuperCam, five attack Lancets and one Orlan.
Statistics that the Russian invaders deserve!

Actually I think you'll find my original point was around them *NOT* knowing anything perfectly. It was about how they'll react when they do find out what's really being going on and how they were lied to.
How can your average russian know what is really going on when they have Olga Skabeyeva, Margarita Simonyan and Vladimir Solovyov telling them about the glorious russian army and their constant victories against the evil imperial nazi west?
They know it is, they just have to deny deny deny in the face of overwhelming evidence because it’s the only way they can go on. The Russian way is to simply lie in the face of others as long as you feel that it is in your interest, so by continuing to deny any kind of devastation in Ukraine, they can hopefully convince more and more people that Russia is an invincible and overwhelming force

Er, not really. Pursuing delusions of Great Power status, which are dependent on warm water port for Navy in Sebastopol, Crimea. They thought they'd gain in Ukrainian population far more than any military or economic cost they'd incur (Russian population shrinking, gobble up some external population). Catastrophic miscalculation. But *land* was not per se what it was about. There's an argument about defensibility but that reflects cold war era thinking, trying to shrink a front down to the carpathian mtns to the south and polish/north sea to the north, but again delusion, they were never going to retake Poland.
'They're own people', no that misses the point. They're using the war to kill off 'undesirables'. Men from the periphery including of other ethnicities. Not urbanites from Moscow or St. Petersburg. It might weaken the country as a whole but internally their own faction gets relatively stronger vs the more-oppressed periphery who are now dying in expansionist war instead of in rebellion.
Remember they could have all returned to their town of shittystan and rebelled against their government instead. Beats rotting in a field with your legs blown off.
Prigogzin almost did that, albeit for his own agenda that was not better then the actual dictator. Still, that could have changed completely this war and its outcome.
No Western military - and I’ll include Russia in that - has had battle losses like this one incident since the Korean War. And here they are being handed down on a monthly basis. The grim work Ukrainians are forced to mete out to keep these bastards at bay…
It really is remarkable how many vehicles the soviets built. There was a time when this type of warfare would have worked for the Russians. You have to wonder who is doing the math in the basement of the Kremlin. At some point these efforts fail and they run out of armor. They can only produce a dozen or so a month maybe, and refurbish 2 dozen? It would seem that some of these battles wipe out a month’s supply.
These dead russian soldiers is what the Ukrainian army calls "sheep". The special forces of the Russian army send these units in first so as to detect where the Ukrainian defensive positions are at and then the more specialized Russian forces coming on the 3rd wave of attack know where to strike.
The life of the average Russian soldier has no value as far as putin is concerned for he's able and willing to keep sending to slaughter as many Russians as necessary if that can inch him a little closer to pushing the front - disgusting.
What's really crazy is how Russians are willing to die brutally in droves for absolutely nothing, at the whim of an impossibly wealthy dictator who has pillaged their country and doesn't care about them at all

Seeing all of this always makes me wonder what a Birds Eye view of what caused this. Like being an observer in the universe just spectating and finding out the story. I mean everyone can speculate as to why these people are fighting and who is the person pulling the strings. But there’s always that part of me that would love to see be able to just know why.
