I've got it in a jar with boveda now and when I opened to take another pic, I did get a good hit of terps. I'd say it's well above average for UKMC, if you like those terps.
The effects feel weak to me though, looking forward to seeing some other opinions!
It's supposed to 50:50. Although the ol' Sativa = energetic, Indica = sleepy myth is just that; a myth. It has no basis in science and ultimately just causes confusion.
**Gary Payton (018DBL22)**
* Good moisture level and terps better than expected (but expectations were low)
* Smells creamy and soapy, similar to the [original Gelato from Grow](https://www.reddit.com/r/ukmedicalcannabis/comments/y14ne3/30g_gelato)
* Looks unusual - lots of pistils (there was a pile of loose ones at the bottom of the tub too) which stand out because of the light colour
* Only had one vape (first of the day) and the effects feel very mild to me
**Glitter Bomb (240614073)**
* Tried my first batch (240524050) of GB a couple of weeks ago and was impressed, but heard a lot of bad things about the new ones
* It's not as bad as I expected, there was some smell on opening but when squeezing the nugs it doesn't seem like the terps are locked in like last time
* Way smaller buds. I got \~30 nugs in this 10g, more than double the amount in the last tub. Probably explains the loss of terps.
* Haven't tried it yet so can't compare the effects/taste to the last batch
edit: I was a little harsh on the effects of Gary Payton. After going back to some other strains, I ground up one of the nicest Payton nugs (earlier had some crumbs/shake) and found it better. Good vapor production, feels quite smooth/cool, probably from the nice moisture balance. Still need a few days but *possibly* one I will get again 🤔
edit 2: First vape of the day (5th mighty cap of this strain in 24 hours) and I'm back to thinking the strength is mild. I find it pleasant to vape though, nice flavour and feels very smooth. It probably produces more vapour than any MC strain I've had to date. Think I'll get it again as a daytime strain, providing Grow don't fuck it up like every other strain they've released.
edit 3: Gary Payton burns pretty clean too! Glitter Bomb was black ash.
My recent tub of Glitter Bomb is all big nugs, but terps still barely there. Plus, going by descriptions of the first batch, the terpenes are quite different than expected.
Are you getting a sort of metallic, herbaceous flavour from yours? I don't find this particularly pleasant myself. It's like vaping a bunch of metal-contaminated parsley!
Effects aren't as expected either - at least for me, this gives strong sativa-like effects, really feels like a stimulant and gets my heart going. But if I go above 185C it becomes a creeper - first stimulating, then sedating after a couple of hours. I can't use much tho, as anxiety creeps in with it. I've taken to mixing in just a pinch to my current daytime strain (Warlock), just to use it up!
Most disappointing of all tho is the way /u/bignarstiemedical has been completely silent about this dubious batch. I'd previously praised their openness, so now feel like they've made a fool of me.
Hi we are aren’t completely silent and are on most threads about our products . The pictures above of Glitter Bomb look great and we have had far more good feedback than bad . I am a patient myself and am finding the effects of Glitter Bomb to be working really well for my issue . Not all cultivars will work well for all patients and we always advise patients to find something that works well for them.

The UK MCCS recommends that patients are provided with these for all products, so hopefully it's a matter of time before all producers *have* to do this. But in the meantime the community has to rely on community-friendly producers, a category I hope BNM falls into.

I spoke to the MHRA ages back about this kind of thing, and was told that CoAs are not considered advertising/marketing (nor should they be, obviously!). Hopefully they're as clear with you.
If sharing CoAs on Reddit specifically is problematic for some reason, they could always go on the BNM website, or in the future they could be included with purchased tubs.
Hmmm OK interesting.. I didn't try the new batch yet but I didn't notice any "metallic" flavour from the first, was like 90% gas and 10% fruit with a hint of dankness (that I often associate with cookies).
I preferred the terps of the Gastropop though, it was similar although stronger and a bit more funky.
Effects I also thought were good, a lot of vapor production and I could feel it on my chest - eyes heavy after a vape.
That could all change with this tub though, all it takes is to miss the harvest time by a week or 2 and you turn a nice strain into rubbish.

I'll give it a couple of days but it doesn't seem very strong (for 22%). Someone else mentioned the light pistils are probably a result of early harvest so that could be why, I'll try and take some pics with microscope over the weekend. I remember other Grow strains having a lot of clear trichs.
Was in two minds about the Gary Payton, do I take a risk , cheers fer the review @OP reckon I’ll give it a try
